I liked everything about the hotel but I have one issue. When we drove our car and arrived at the hotel address as per the hotel address provided by the booking confirmation, we couldn’t park anywhere. We drove around for 15 min and finally we had to send a person to look for a way to park our car. Parking actually is through a small alley to the back of the building. I suggest the hotel should provide a map for people who has a car and need to park their car. Expedia also need to provide the map on the booking confirmation. Thanks!

They have 4 but 1 to 2 are blocked off for their own staff, 1 is often broken > which leaves 1 elevator for all guests

Although there are many hotels that are positioned within minutes walk to skytower, ferry and many shops & restaurants, Adina is one of very few hotels in the CBD with a pool. The pool was lovely and warm, and a great way to start the day!

All of the above! We thoroughly enjoyed the 1BR suite, w fulling cooking/food prep amenities, and the washer/dryer was a huge, useful bonus! We also used the pool, which was beautiful and perfectly clean. I did note that the bathroom sink drain was slow. I cleaned it, but noted that it may be subject to easily catching debris, due to the design of the drain. The shower could use a floor squeegee, to deal with the inevitable floor wetting. We noted that the valuables safe in the BR closet is not mounted level, causing the door to swing open without provocation. Our stay was delightful, and the character of the surrounding architecture was an. Additional point of interest. All staff were wonderfully professional.

The hotel is so convenient. Right on Queen St so very accessible to Britomart, shopping and the viaduct. Close to the SkyDrive airport bus too. Room was very clean and the housekeeping staff very lovely and helpful. Salt water pool was great and the gym small but good. Unfortunately not restaurant but as your right in the city, finding somewhere to eat/drink was very easy.

Really Good location in the city to get around and lots of restaurants and bars in the area and short walk to the water front. Swimming pool was not available for full stay. Rooms are nice enough and represented good value for what I paid. Only side note there is another Hotel in the city called Adina and when you search on Adina on Apple Maps the other hotel is the only one that shows up. I walked quite a long way to the other place the manger at the other hotel said this happens a lot. When you search on Apple Maps type in City Life not Adina or use the proper address….

CityLife Auckland was a comfortable stay in the middle of downtown. Pros - centrally located to food, shopping, and transportation hubs, our room was ready early, room is spacious, shower had great water pressure, perfect amount of kitchen supplies. Cons - restaurants under construction, there seemed to be a bunch of small issues tied to the construction (lock was being fixed, we didn't have hot water day 1). Note - The hotel and rooms were clean but if you look too closely you'll see corners and under living room table hadn't been cleaned well. I never would have even noticed if I wasn't clumsy and dropped something on the side of the bathroom vanity and under the coffee table in the living room.

Overall, it was a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the apartment was spacious and well-priced, and the location in the CBD was excellent. The only issue was that there was no space inside the shower cubicle to place soap/ face wash. I don’t know if that’s how all the rooms are or just the one we had. We had to put things on the floor or position it very carefully on the taps but they would still fall off.

The bed was so comfortable, perfect for a good sleep after a long flight. Rooms were spacious and well fitted out. We also found it very quiet. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Auckland.

Very nice apartments. Comfortable beds. Walking distance to major sightseeings in the city. Lots of restaurants nearby. We were upgraded to a big apartment with all comforts, including the washing machine and tumble dryer. This was a very nice surprise!

Jessica at Reception was friendly, charming and helpful. Within 10-15 minute walk to Albert and Victoria Parks and the harbor. Room was very nice. Comfortable bed. Clothes washer was in room; no dryer that I could find. I had a kitchen unit with refrigerator, stovetop and microwave; basic cooking necessities--pots, pans, etc. No condiments, cooking oil or spices were supplied. If you like to cook bring your own or purchase from one of the several local grocery stores nearby. I did not see an on-site restaurant. The property does offer room service dining as well as discounts when guests eat at a local breakfast cafe. The lack of restaurant was not of concern to me as I prepared my meals in room. The staff I met were friendly, polite and helpful. I very much enjoyed my four-night stay in May 2025. I mentioned the noise. To be clear, my room was very quiet. Noise referred to was due to the property's location in the Central Business District, the area is quite busy with tourists, locals going to and from work, automobile traffic, etc. which one encounters when walking about the area. I recommend the CityLife Auckland.

The staff were nice and the room was clean. However valet car parking crashed my car into the building. We never noticed until we got to Albany as it's my daughter's door. The staff failed to mention the incident. It has been difficult trying to sort as they weren't very proactive in getting there insurance details to us. And to rub salt into the wound they still charged us for the parking and it took a long time to get a proper apology. This has been very stressful and a disappointing experience.

We had an issue with the shower on our first night, but it was fixed right away. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even arranged a cab for us at checkout, which was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and popular attractions. It’s also very family-friendly, especially the pool and gym, which our family really enjoyed.

Clean, and staff was very accommodating. We were able to access the gym facilities to shower and freshen up (they provided fresh towels and soap/shampoo/conditioner) after a long flight that landed super early in the morning; stored our luggage; then they texted me as soon as the room was ready for early check in as well. We had a high floor, it was quiet and it was a very convenient location in the city as well. 10/10 would stay here again

Modern well maintained rooms, friendly helpful staff at reception, swift check-in. Hotel is actually situated just off Queen street so many shops are only a short walk away. Quay Street is a 10 minute walk.

Perfect location for walking to city sights and the cruise terminal. Wonderful shopping area just a few blocks away as well. Would book here again in the future. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful too.

Good location downtown. Metropolitan/ cosmopolitan city. Walking distance to the harbor, ferry’s, lots of restaurants, cafes, high end shopping etc. use Uber not taxis! Waiheke Island is lovely for wine tasting, take the ferry, and hop on hop off Explorer bus to wineries, Sky tower is great. The historical museum is fabulous. Good walking shoes a must. Room has a fridge, and hot water pot, tea & coffee. No restaurant or food provided. Helpful front desk staff.

Good central location but would have been nice to have been warned in advance that the restaurant is closed indefinitely. And for eco friendly they say if you want to help, hang up your towels etc if you don't want them replaced, you do this and they replace them anyway :-)
