Stayed 2 nights

I was visiting family so out of the room from roughly 11:00am - 11:30. The first night sleeping was uncomfortable due to what were not even extreme temperatures. I asked the receptionist for a fan to be delivered to my room and she confirmed this would happen as I had an option to borrow one locally. I returned back to the room after 11pm and the fan wasn't there after undressing ready for bed I should have contacted reception again as I had another uncomfortable night's sleep. Disappointed!

Stayed 1 night

Staff were very good , breakfast was very good , only concerns were , coffee machine in room did not work but we also had a kettle so not totally unhappy , our room key failed to work on one occasion which was a bit of an inconvenience , both larger options at the function room bar needed to be pulled through prior to the start of the event not after I received two poor pints , other than that the event was great the function room and buffet were very good and I slept fine .

Never stayed as when I tried to discuss my booking with them they replied with automated responses and refused to acknowledge that I was human being. Will NEVER stay with Village again. Will make sure I tell everyone I know how poor the customer service was.
