Beachfront Getaway, Dolphin Suite, 🐶 💙

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at your stunning beachfront vacation rental, and I wanted to express our heartfelt thanks for providing such an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, with elegant and comfortable furnishings that made us feel right at home. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable, ensuring we all had a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were stocked with plush towels and high-quality toiletries. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. We particularly enjoyed the open-concept living area, where we spent our evenings relaxing and taking in the breathtaking ocean views. The board games were great. The private beach access was a true highlight of our stay. The secluded stretch of beach with its calm waves provided the perfect setting for our daily activities. Our children were thrilled with the variety of beach toys available, from the paddle board, kayaks, chairs, to the sandcastle building kits. We spent hours playing in the sand and surf, knowing we had all the equipment we needed for a fun and safe experience. In summary, our stay was perfect. The owener greeted us when we got there, and were quick and attentive to all our questions. Very clean and modern. Only con was we could hear every time the guests walked above us. Otherwise, we definitely recommend the Dolphin Suite!

My family and I had a great stay. The house was comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the beach was very nice and convenient. We enjoyed all the beach equipment and the gym area. The hosts were very accommodating and communitive with our changing plans.

Tons of space, modern furnishings, fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, including coffee! beautiful views, lovely walks on an empty beach in 75 degrees weather in April. What’s not to love? Rick was super responsive to our couple of questions. Our pup enjoyed the condo too! Walk down the beach to the pier and enjoy a drink on the roof deck! Don’t expect fast service tho.

Very nice property. Our only suggestions would be having a small kitchen vacuum available to clean all the sand. Property was very clean and decorated very nicely. Owners are always available and respond promptly with any questions. We all enjoyed our time on the beach and loved that it was just us on the beach most of the time . Would definitely go back again!

Stayed for a long weekend for a family birthday get together. Communication with the hosts was flawless, always answered the messages via the app. The house was easy to get to in a nice neighborhood. The area was safe and quiet. The house was ready when we arrived and it was spotless. Everything was clean and in order. The kitchen is fully stocked and we found complimentary snacks and drinks waiting for us. The beach is just a few steps away and it was nice to take the dog for a walk along the water. The house is in a nice location, about 15 minutes to downtown Norfolk and a quick 30 minutes to Virginia Beach. Many things to do around the area. Private parking on the property was convenient. The property is spacious with three large bedrooms, plenty of beds, comfortable seating in the living room, fireplace and a view of the water. The TVs were good size and fully functional, HVAC kept the temperature comfortable. It was a truly enjoyable stay without a single complaint. We will definitely return to the Dolphin suite when we return to Norfolk.

Big Blue condos are very clean and well maintained. The owners provide many additional amenities that other rentals do not. We had a wonderful vacation.

The unit was spotless when we arrived and smelt great! Pictures are very accurate and owners very accommodating! Literally steps from the beach which was great for our 5 and 6 year olds. The location of the home gives a private beach feel. Would 100% stay again!

The property owners are actually the neighbors of this property. They were very accommodating when we arrived ahead of schedule and made sure we had a place to sit out of the heat until our rental was ready. Messages were responded to within minutes. The house was modern and very clean! Probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever had. The street was very safe and perfect for families with children. All the basic necessities were provided. I cannot overstate how perfect the location and the property was. This side of the ocean had calm waters, again perfect for small children and kayaks, which we used extensively.

The absolute best VRBO we have ever stayed! The house was stocked with anything we might have needed from laundry pods to phone chargers, towels, shampoo and conditioner, even coffee and creamer in the fully equipped kitchen! The beach view and easy access were amazing. The house was immaculate and has a very calm, relaxing feeling. I can’t say enough good things. We ran into some rainy weather and the host notified us while we were out to stay safe! 1000% would recommend! Our special request to meet the most handsome 4 legged host was the high-light of our trip. Such considerate hosts for our Showgirl is a Wife Weekend!

Beautiful home right on the beach. Spacious and well furnished. If this place had an air fryer and some gym equipment, it would be perfect. Also, there's only 1 TV. Other than that, no complaints. I would definitely book again.

The house was just as described and very large. It had all the comforts of home and very comfy beds. Being right on the beach was great and having beach supplies onsite made packing much easier. The home was very clean and loved that there was coffee and snacks. The owners were great to work with and got back to me very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful beach house with a great view. We travel quarterly and love to stay in new places and rarely find one right on the beach, this was literally steps from the private gorgeous beach. We had a wonderful week with our family. Would highly recommend! It was also nice to meet the owner. 😀

The condo was really nice and clean and had so many extra touches by the owners. They literally thought of everything! They were also very accommodating allowing us to check in a little early which was great since we had our dog. The second floor where we were had a slightly obstructed view which you can see in the pics if you look closely but it didn’t bother us since you can look to either side unobstructed. I didn’t realize there was a top floor to rent as well even though it clearly says that in the description the mermaid suite probably has a little better view. The only thing I was wishing was an outdoor deck or patio to sit on to enjoy coffee in the mornings but you can easily go down and access the beach to do that. We did have a family with kids check in to the suite above us our last night and you could hear them running around But it was just here and there and couldn’t be helped. Just mentioning it for awareness for others. Overall it was a great stay and the place was very Very nice. Thank you,

Big Blue is a well designed modern unit with a large kitchen and and open feel. The furniture is of good quality and the overall feel is welcoming. The location serves as a great base of attractions in Williamsburg, Norfolk and VA beach. Watching the ships cross the bay from the dinning room table was a nice treat.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in the Dolphin suite at the Beachfront Getaway! The condo is very spacious, equipped with all the basics, and convenient location for lots of sightseeing!! The beachfront access is perfect with beautiful sunrises/sunsets. The owners were reachable about accommodations and very welcoming to our stay.
