Good hotel in a quiet neighborhood, fairly close to transport and dining, on street public parking is available.

Close to restaursnt trains and bus however didn’t realize thst it has no Aircon. It was very hot in the room

Someday this might be a fairly nice boutique hotel. But not yet. We stayed here for ten days in May 2025. This hotel opened two months ago in one of London's 19th century historic townhome rows and is still under renovation. Our first night was marred by the smell of paint and construction noise as the stairs next to our room was being plastered and painted. At least the room was clean and modernized, with good facilities (except for the shower head, which leaked badly). The next night was quieter, but still some paint smell. The mattress was new and very good. After three nights we moved to another room. It was similarly modern, but the mattress was terrible. We needed towels on it to cushion us against the springs we could feel. The TV was not hooked up and no one could fix it. The windows did not close properly and we used towels to block the cold air. (The windows in this historic district cannot be replaced but a carpenter could fix the problems). So, two nights there and we were moved to a third room for the rest of our stay, which was quite pleasant. The staff was very accommodating and tried to meet our needs, even if a couple of times they over promised what they were able to deliver. Special thanks to Babar, who took the brunt of our complaints. I like the location, a short walk to shops and transportation. The hotel room rate was reasonable. SO, maybe we will stay here again someday, but AFTER they finish the place!

Smell so bad and give me room in basement. Very hot in summer season and no AC no blanket and the green night light on the ceiling is unable to turn off. Horrible

Stayed here on a budget trip with 3 other individuals. Good price for budgeting folks, but not comfortable or convenient as far as stay. No fridge, microwave. No air condition, handy during the summer. Beds were ok but you get what you pay for. Somewhat near certain rail stations which is good. Front desk relatively friendly. Overall not the best but not the worst. Will recommend for single travelers on a budget.

It’s good but it doesn’t have AC

Staff are nice and helpful, location is convenient, hotel is under renovation, the property condition is to be improved.

It was our last minute booking due to our flight cancellation. The hotel was at a very convenient location, close to the subway, many stores and restaurants. The room we got was in the basement, which was not mentioned during booking. There were no windows, but a tiny little sky-light on the ceiling, which would have been alright on a good day. However, that night, it was pouring rain, and the rain hit the sky-light making a lot of noise over-night. There was also NO trash/garbage bin in the room. There was also only 1 light switch controlling just one set of lights in the whole room. The elevator was so small it could only fit 2 people at a time.

Expedia said "limited" parking. What it should have said is no parking. Had to drop off luggage, drive to a car garage then uber back to hotel. Of course, had to reverse that process to pu car.

Friendly staff. The property looks like it being refurbished, which it needs but fine for a 2 night stay. Good value for money.

Room was small and not very clean, floor was not vacuumed and we had a red stain on our sheets. Location was convenient close to Paddington but very basic accommodation that could do with better level of cleanliness.

By far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Bugs in beds!!

This was probably one of the worst stays my family has experienced. The web photos are completely not representative, to begin with. There was hair and other detritus in the showers from previous guests. Bathroom fixtures were falling off the walls. There was shattered mirror glass in the room. There was no air conditioning, but also the windows were bolted shut - absolutely stifling. Despite multiple listings of "breakfast" as one of the amenities, there is no breakfast offered, nor was there a refund offered because of the discordance. Although parking is listed as available, the parking spaces were filled with debris. We had a two day stay booked, but left immediately in the morning. Pity, as the area is quite nice and convenient.

It was terrible experience. There were cockroaches in the room. Carpet in the room had a stuffy smell and stickiness especially when u come out of the shower into the room. There was a washroom in the hall way that had stinky smell and full of used tissue in the toilet bowl and it was sitting there for two days. Knobs in the shower of the attached washrooms were coming out of the wall. We stayed for two nights asked the cleaning lady to freshen up the room while we were gone to the city, on our return we found out she didn't even enter the room. We had to use the same set of towels the next day. It's not a place recommended to stay with a family. If u r single or with friends and u r only backpacking in London then this place will do for you. We had two rooms for a family of 5 with my 31/2 year old daughter and it was a disaster. Also I forgot my reading glasses in the room and when I visited again to claim the glasses two days later I was told on the front desk that nothing was reported or submitted to the front desk. I had to look for another hotel for the rest of my stay in London.

This hotel is awful! The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff have no customer service skills what's so ever. Very unprofessional in appearance and customer service. There was a staff member standing at the front door smoking right beside the no smoking sign. All the hallways are painted white and filty! Walls and doors with black and drown dirt all over them. Our room was in the basement, it has no air conditioning and very hot. There was a table fan and the cage on it was caked in dust! The ceiling and walls had yellow stains. I can't believe they actually put people in that room. We checked out a day early. Do not stay at this hotel!

Not at all what I was picturing based on the pictures when I booked it. Floor was gross carpet with some stains, bathroom kept smelling like sewage. Based on the pictures when I booked I expected it to be much nicer. It was fairly clean and safe area. Was just deceived as it’s not what I thought I was booking otherwise it was a okay hotel and felt safe here

This property is extremely dirty and unfriendly. There were roaches everywhere. Bugs in the plate where the coffee was. No AC only a fan and extremely tight space. The rug smelled like mold. When I started breaking out in hives (due to roach allergy) I booked a different hotel and asked for my money back. The front desk was not even concerned and said to take that up with expida. He was not even apologetic. I will file a claim because it’s definitely not meeting health codes. I took pictures. So gross!!!

There was non operating lights, bugs in room, unclean conditions

This hotel was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty, worn down, and falling apart. It clearly hasn’t been properly cleaned or maintained for a very long time. Even worse, there were insects or bed bugs in the beds – something that’s also mentioned in many other reviews, so it’s clearly an ongoing problem. We couldn’t stay another night because bed bugs are both dangerous and highly contagious, so we had to book a new hotel immediately. The receptionist was incredibly rude and arrogant, refusing to take any responsibility for the situation and acting as if it wasn’t a big deal. Totally unprofessional and unpleasant. We strongly recommend finding another place to stay – even if this one looks cheap, it’s absolutely not worth the money.

Very easy walk to all the main tourist destinations, and very close to the paddington station to catch a train. Felt a little unsafe with the window half opened to the outside when checked in and took a lot of effort to try to close the window, only the find that it was hold shut by loose screws. Great for very short term stay, but not ideal for long term in situates at the basement suites.

The bedroom was red hot and has fans on already to try and cool the room. The beds were comfortable, there was no iron, the shower was nice however they had not restocked the shower gel or hand-wash dispensers. They did supply a few little bottles of shampoo. They gave us clean towels and replenished tea/coffee supplies and clean cups. The room was very small but as we were only there to sleep it was fine. It is based near Kensington park and a 15 min walk from paddington station in another direction. Staff were friendly on reception. No breakfast as the kitchen isnt used despite their website saying breakfast was included.

Weather was very good and our room was in the basement which was far too hot! Needed 2 fans in the room to keep relatively cool. If you're staying in this hotel in summer months do not stay in a basement room.

Area was ok, lots of dining options and close to tube. Bed was terrible, very lumpy and hard. Window area was filthy (I had to take pictures to prove to myself or anyone that asks) which doesn’t give me faith that the room has ever been cleaned properly. Saying all of that, the hotel can just about work for a cheap overnight stay in central London due to a business trip or concert; on the plus side it seems pretty secure.

When we arrived our window lock was broken and I refused to sleep in the room as it was unsafe as I am a young solo female traveler. The receptionist at first didn’t understand what the issue was, and said there was nothing he could do about it and there was nothing else available, then suddenly there was another room to stay in for the night. The room was very small, and I felt like the pictures were a bit deceiving. The room was clean and the cleaners were very nice and accommodating.

Renovated floor, I think, so very clean and new. Drain in bathroom was not very efficent, and the room was extremely hot, even though there was a rather big fan. A stay for five days with kids was suitable for us three. Location is supernice- park a few steps away. Friendly staff. Very good price for clean and neat hotel!

Property was basic and the basement rooms smelled of damp. Two weird and large skylights above beds with no curtains so bright in the summer. For London, this is acceptable and tolerated but outside of London it would not be worth the money.

There were shops nearby, public transport walkable. We had booked a premium twin with a window and we got the basement room with no window. We insisted on a change and were able to get a new room the next day by helpful staff

Firstly, we walked into the room and it was hot. We found that the towel rail was boiling hot and couldn't turn off. We asked the receptionist to switch it off but he had no idea so had to sleep with window wide open at night. Secondly, the bed was painfully uncomfortable, thin mattress, could feel every spring and had one thin pillow. One positive a decent shower.

Staff was very friendly and we were even able to have an early check in without asking. Easy to find and great location.

I had a very disappointing experience at this property during my 4-night stay. On the first day, I discovered that a valuable personal item was missing from my room. When I reported it to management, I was informed that there was no way to verify how the item went missing and that nothing could be done. No goodwill gesture or support was offered despite the seriousness of the issue. Beyond that, the room itself was extremely small, uncomfortably hot, and not well-maintained. Throughout my stay, I witnessed multiple guests expressing frustration to staff about similar concern of dirty rooms, inconsistent housekeeping, and poor service overall. This was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I would strongly urge others to consider alternative accommodations.

Pictures do certianly not match the reaility. Dirty, no toilet papir, bad beds and not much good. Was woken up mulitple times during the night as the receptionist was aruging with the people staying next to us about the price. Ended up with the police arriving and the hotel was trying to charge the guest a higher price. Not coming back.

A wonderful part of town with the convenience of the underground a 5-minute walk away. Easy and friendly check in. Spotless and very comfortable room.

Front desk staff was very friendly. The cleaning staff was rude and didn't clean when asked to do so. They took our dirty towels but didn't leave clean ones. Didn't take all of our trash or leave additional toilet paper. In fact, had to ask multiple times for toilet paper, finally bought some ourselves and the cleaning staff took a partial roll and still didn't replace it. Bed was uncomfortable and the room was hot.

I WOULD ADVISE THOSE INTERESTED NOT TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL My daughters and I had at least two items (possibly more) stolen from our luggage while we were out for the day. AirPods and cash were taken from one oof out make-up masks inside a money carrier.

There was no air conditioning but it was not mentioned in the description. The restaurant was under construction so there was no breakfast. The staff was not helpful.

Close to Paddington station. Great location. Room is clean. Staff very helpful. My flight arrived early and departed late. They were able to store my luggage for both early arrival and late departure. Will stay again.

Clean room, near local amenities and large park. Easy public transport access.

The property was very practical for my purposes. Standing out for me was its location.

Quite small but pretty comfortable and near plenty of tube stations. It’s perfect if you are looking for something affordable and near by plenty of restaurants

Very close to Paddington station, Bayswater station, and bus routes. Also very close to Hyde park and Kensington palace.

Great location friendly staff

The Leisure Inn was a perfectly fine place to stay. We wanted something affordable and close to the city - it’s in a great area right near Keningston Garden/Notting Hill. This not an extravagant place, but if you’re looking for a solid hotel at a good price that you can sleep at after a busy day or two in London, this is probably a good place for you.

Great location with friendly helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable. The road it was on had everything you need. Good option for a budget stay in central london for the night.

Ad stated breakfast available to buy, on arrival staff advised there was no breakfast. Only one curtain was fitted in our room so 4am was bright daylight. Gave up and checked out early and drove home after the concert we came to see.

Radiator in bathroom stuck on full heat couldn't. Turn. It off mattress or bed not comfortable and not level no breakfast offered even though it says it is offered

We didn’t look at the reviews beforehand as we booked the hotel with a pack, and when we read them we got a bit suspicious of how it would be, and we relate to stuff people have written but we didn’t experience anything “bad” We agree that it’s a 2 star hotel. It’s in a good place with Hyde park close to it which is nice, but when we got inside we were a bit sus. Breakfast “in the basement”, we didn’t eat breakfast there because that sounded very suspicious to us so we don’t know how it was there but according to the other reviews it was both ok and bad. Someone else said the rooms in the basement were the same as jail, and for that I’m glad we didn’t get a room there. Our room was clean and looked good, but it was very small and my mother had to drink her coffee and eat on the floor. The bathroom was also good looking even though there was no soap in the soap dispenser. There was no trash can in the bedroom so we had to get our own bag to store our trash in. The tv was not working and there was no cap for the battery in the controller. No aircon and it was realllly hot at night. We didn’t talk much with the staff but we had no problems with them. There’s mixed opinions about them but I noticed I never saw the same staff twice, which means they probably switch a lot which means they all have different personalities I guess. All in all Our experience was average, but as someone else said book at ur own risk (:

This stay was not as expected.there is no outside area is depicted on the pictures.The front has broken steps and building materials thrown at the front.we had booked 1 double and 2 single beds,but got 2 very narrow doubles,so one of us had to sleep on the floor.The mattresses were floppy and soft.the floor had a dent in it.the room had no ventilation,but was equipped with one small table top ventilator.when we asked for an extra,it was refused.the concierge couldn't care less.one(one!) good thing is the bathroom,which is clean.Fresh towels (plenty) every day.A downstairs dining room had been converted into extra rooms.
