We celebrated our twenty-fifth Wedding Anniversary at the Ritz London. If you are seeking a sophisticated experience, then look no further. The Ritz London exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived through the morning we returned home. Their attention to detail was impeccable. The room was elegant, and housekeeping kept the room clean each day. One night, our room was decorated with gorgeous rose petals. The London Tour in the Ritz Rolls-Royce Phantom was phenomenal with the Head Hall Porter. We were able to take photographs, and the Head Hall Porter framed two of our favorite pictures. Our final evening at the Ritz Restaurant was extraordinary due to the outstanding service from the Ritz Restaurant Manager and his staff. The food was also fantastic. We will cherish the memories, and we are pleased to be part of the Ritz London family.

We adored our stay at Ritz London this past weekend. Here’s my takeaways (we traveled to London on the first day and left London on our last so our time was limited at the hotel): * The service is impeccable. It was stalwart and not obsequious. * The history is palpable. It feels like a Time Machine in the best way. * The interiors are immaculate whether it’s your personal style or not. * The dining options are vast considering. Fancy dinner, fancy tea, the bar, the cigar lounge, room service. We did breakfast in the Dining Room which was a highlight, had a burger and fish sticks in the bar, and enjoyed a Cuban & scotch in the cigar lounge. All were lovely! Next time we will do dinner and tea because there will be a next time. * The location is unrivaled. See a show? Shop at Harrods? Visit Chuck and what’s her name? All walkable. * The souvenirs available to purchase are high quality and worthy of taking back to your dog sitter, MiL, et al. * The rooms (of which we had the regular sort) are gorgeously appointed and comfortable. Yet, this is my biggest demerit, they are a bit dowdy. Sure, it’s an old but the shower is a bit like a boat shower by size though the water pressure is fab. I vacillated & googled repeatedly things like “best hotels in London”, “Savoy vs Ritz”, “best place to stay in London”, you get the idea. Ultimately, we are very glad to have stayed there and all already planning our next visit, maybe as soon as this weekend!

Everything. From the moment I arrived, I was not allowed to do anything for myself. The concierge is amazing and can tell you anything about everything happening in London for all types of travelers. The atmosphere is pure luxury, the rooms are desgined beautifully, food is impeccable, my guys Joe and Simone in the cigar lounge are gonna show you a great time, etc, etc... you'll be fine.

First time at the Ritz, we really have nothing to say about services, which were excellent. As for the breakfast food, all were excellent quality. The only drawback was that the room was so traditional in style, so there were no USB outlets in the room for computers or smartphones, and there were some parts that were not up to date with times and not very user-friendly. I thought that the bathroom and toilet, as well as the washroom, were not draining well, which I thought could be managed. We appreciated the warm hospitality of the staffs made us very cozy and felt as we were at home. So we hope to stay at the Ritz again.

Opulent and beautiful but yes dated. Doorman was slightly rude upon my arrival as if I didn't belong at the Ritz or something. But the service was outstanding and everyone was kind. There was an old smell in the hallways and stains on the rug. We would stay at a newer establishment next time.

An incredible property and the most comfortable room ever except it was hot - apparently due to renovations in process. What really made it amazing were the friendly, kind and attentive staff with ready smiles who were so welcoming and eager to make our stay the best. An example of the incredible service is we had some delicious sourdough toast leftover at breakfast and we asked to take it with us. They took it away and we waited - we finally realized they had packaged it up and already delivered it to our room!

We arrived later than we had planned and hence did not experience as much of the Ritz as we had originally hoped. What we did experience was, as expected, exceptional. The staff (from the gentlemen at the door to the reception staff and those who served breakfast) were all extremely polite, very well presented and all gave the impression that no request would be too difficult for them. Our room was very nice with everything presented to a high standard and of good quality. It is all very old world/of an era which was expected but there are certain elements where I'd prefer something a bit more modern ... a duvet rather than blankets and maybe a walk in shower rather than having to step over the side of the bath. Saying that, I am not complaining. The breakfast menu on first inspection looks a little disappointing particularly if, like my wife, you are vegetarian. However, one should not forget you are in the Ritz and therefore nothing is too difficult ... would madam like some asparagus, some avocado, some baked beans etc? The list was endless and breakfast turned out to be superb. The lactose free pastries prepared for my wife were also a very nice touch. A shame we did not have longer here.

We stayed for just one night to celebrate my wife's birthday, The Ritz staff whre amazing on arrival and all the time we where there , breakfast was superb. I think if we stayed again i would like a room away from piccadilly main street as the engine noise from cars was loud .

Beautiful, comfortable and classic furnishings Great service. Very welcoming. Great central location to everything in London. We stayed at several comparable high end places on our trip and all had coffee machines in the room. The Ritz does not. A small but Important omission I believe.

A wonderful experience as a treat for my mum at Christmas, although we have dined in The Ritz before this was our first stay which was upgraded to a suite. Excellent customer service, warm, friendly and inviting. The food was delicious as always. The suite was absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend, it is now our choice of hotel when visiting London, having previously stayed at The Savoy.

Opulent and beautiful but yes dated. Doorman was slightly rude upon my arrival as if I didn't belong at the Ritz or something. But the service was outstanding and everyone was kind. There was an old smell in the hallways and stains on the rug. We would stay at a newer establishment next time.

We chose to stay at the Ritz London for a night based on its reputation and having had previous positive stays at other Ritz properties. We chose poorly. Check-in was fine and the property itself is mostly well maintained. Our issue arose when we went to confirm the late checkout we had asked for the night prior. The morning of our departure our request was denied (1 PM versus 11 AM), even though we had tea reservations AT Ritz London at 11:30 and needed to change before our international flight home. We made the tea reservations shortly after we made the hotel reservation, many weeks prior, so this wasn’t a surprise for them. We were informed that we needed to vacate our room at 11 and they’d hold our bags. That after tea we could retrieve our belongings and change in the handicap bathroom on the main floor. When the bellman retrieved our bags and showed us to the handicap bathroom even he was embarrassed by the treatment. Based on our experience here, we will not be returning to the Ritz London again and it has tainted our view of the brand overall. If you’re looking for hotels in London, I’d recommend you pass on Ritz London and head over to Four Seasons at Trinity Square or the Shangri La at The Shard, far better experiences to be had there.

We stayed for just one night to celebrate my wife's birthday, The Ritz staff whre amazing on arrival and all the time we where there , breakfast was superb. I think if we stayed again i would like a room away from piccadilly main street as the engine noise from cars was loud .

Beautiful, comfortable and classic furnishings Great service. Very welcoming. Great central location to everything in London. We stayed at several comparable high end places on our trip and all had coffee machines in the room. The Ritz does not. A small but Important omission I believe.

We adored our stay at Ritz London this past weekend. Here’s my takeaways (we traveled to London on the first day and left London on our last so our time was limited at the hotel): * The service is impeccable. It was stalwart and not obsequious. * The history is palpable. We arrived later than we had planned and hence did not experience as much of the Ritz as we had originally hoped. What we did experience was, as expected, exceptional. The staff (from the gentlemen at the door to the reception staff and those who served breakfast) were all extremely polite, very well presented and all gave the impression that no request would be too difficult for them. Our room was very nice with everything presented to a high standard and of good quality. It is all very old world/of an era which was expected but there are certain elements where I'd prefer something a bit more modern ... a duvet rather than blankets and maybe a walk in shower rather than having to step over the side of the bath. Saying that, I am not complaining. The breakfast menu on first inspection looks a little disappointing particularly if, like my wife, you are vegetarian. However, one should not forget you are in the Ritz and therefore nothing is too difficult ... would madam like some asparagus, some avocado, some baked beans etc? The list was endless and breakfast turned out to be superb. The lactose free pastries prepared for my wife were also a very nice touch. A shame we did not have longer here.

This was a truly amazing experience, the staff are extremely helpful,polite and professional as you would expect from the Ritz, during our stay we had the afternoon tea as most do and also ate in the main restaurant taking in the saturday night live show, this was a truly memorable night. The food was the best we have eaten and the whole ambience had to be experienced to understand how good it was, i don't have the words to do it justice. I really like the traditions of the hotel and love the fact they keep it from a time when things were done properly and with respect. If you like a very high level of service with friendliness and unique experiences then you must go and try it i dont think you would be disappointed.

A wonderful experience as a treat for my mum at Christmas, although we have dined in The Ritz before this was our first stay which was upgraded to a suite. Excellent customer service, warm, friendly and inviting. The food was delicious as always. The suite was absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend, it is now our choice of hotel when visiting London, having previously stayed at The Savoy.
