The location was super convenient and the newly renovated room stylish and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations. There are two tube stations nearby, lots of supermarkets and restaurants. The location was quiet. The only thing was that I had a random pinging sound in my room every few minutes that I couldn't work out what it was.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. However our room was not great. We walked into our original room and immediately walked back out due to an overpowering musty / dank smell. Reception did then allocate us another room, the smell was slightly less however still very noticeable. Toilet seat was cracked, carpet threadbare in places, grouting in the bathroom floor tiles was crumbling. Hotel did have good reviews so other floors may have been better as there is currently renovations work ongoing, but mezzanine floor definitely needs freshening up next.

Room was great, staff helpful. Location excellent and good value for money. The sink in the bathroom wasn't the most useable, but everything was in good condition. Great amenities in the room, free tea, coffee, water and a little fridge. One morning we were awoken around 8:30am due to drilling from a room above, as they are refurbishing the hotel.
