The Savoy is one of my favourite hotels in the world. The service and facilities are excellent. You’re in the heart of London just a short walk to most things. The restaurants and bars are excellent. I’d definitely recommend it

Room was beautiful, staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. Cocktail bar had a great atmosphere, breakfast in the Gallery was superb and the staff at reception were very happy, courteous and went out of their way.

Amazing breakfast and we had dinner at the Savoy Grill, we had the Savoy Grill Experience which was amazing. The American bar did wonderful cocktails too. All of the staff were extremely friendly and happy.

Extraordinarily decorated for Christmas--magical and festive. Staff was outstanding--especially Bibi in helping us with transportation, reservations and a tremendous amount of inquiries. Warm and gracious hospitality. Very close to Covent Garden and the Underground to shopping and restaurants. Easy to walk over Waterloo Bridge to the Old Vic Theater, London Eye and more. Restaurants at the Savoy were also amazing. Our experience over Christmas could not have been better!

This traditional hotel is located in the heart of the theater district and steps away from Covent Garden. It is immaculate. The staff is very helpful and nice and the Gordon Ramsay restaurant which is located inside the hotel is phenomenal. Another must stop Is the American bar also located in the hotel and a beautiful place for a drink.

Staff are amazing! Rooms and spa was immaculate. The only issue we had was that we couldn’t get hot water, I know they are thermostatically controlled but the temperature was Luke warm at best . This however didn’t spoil the experience.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay having been 30 years ago I wanted to stay and relive some memories of my parents. The staff uniforms were ill fitting and dirty. Then went to the world famous American bar and too be honest was sat next to groups in shorts T shirts and trainers not at all what I expected. Our room didn’t get serviced so no clean towels or basic tea and coffee facilities!! I could name so many better hotels that offer the service and excellent standards which I expected. Just because the world is changing and not everyone wants to get dressed the savoy is not been held accountable. It is no longer the great place it once was.

Everything about our stay was excellent. Our room was upgraded as it was my husband's 75th birthday and they had left a big bar of chocolate with a greeting in our lovely room. The huge bed and pillows were comfortable, the huge bath towels soft and complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the minibar. Everything was spotless. Food at the Savoy Grill was absolutely delicious and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. A most memorable stay.

Staff was amazing and the room was fabulous. Perfect location. Would have given it a 5 except we could not get a hot shower our entire stay, shower was lukewarm at best and the tv did not work for several days (they had to come back two days in a row to fix it).

The staff really couldn’t be any better, helpful, attentive, friendly, we stopped in a superior room and were directed to the 9th floor, the room was not 5 star, the furniture was old and dated, was damaged in areas and badly repaired, the shower screen was too small for the shower and resulted in water flowing all over the bathroom floor, the tv worked intermittently, was slow, too big for the room so much so the door banged into it, the view was HORRIFIC, backs of buildings, we went for my wife’s birthday and the non rainfall/soaker shower she had to hold herself to shower and the head was broken, loose and span in her hand so she had to hold the hot part with a flannel to shower. This is the second time we’ve stopped here, the first time was outstanding, this time was really really poor and had we not be rushing to catch the train home the lovely staff would have had our full frustration

Great hotel with plenty going for it. Our room was very nice, but a little dated - things like TV streaming services and USB chargers etc are all missing. Overall I would recommend the Savoy, the staff are really what make it - all we truly excellent.

This was one of the greatest hotel experiences of our lives! We were in a large, deluxe room with a sensational view of the river. This felt like real, authentic elegance and it blew us away. The cost was more than we've ever paid per night but we don't regret it at all. One of the top 3 hotel experiences my husband and I have had in 45 years.

We were given an upgraded room which was very nice but unfortunately the room was very noisy. I think we were close to the lifts that sounded like a tube train all night. The hotel and staff were amazing and we could not find fault with anything else.

It was all perfect: the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the cooked breakfast was the best I have ever eaten in a hotel - and I have eaten many in my lifetime. I would return in a heartbeat.

The stay was amazing and as always love staying here. However we came down for breakfast told the wait would be 15-20 minutes we waited 45 minutes and went back to find out what was happening. It seems we had been forgotten so we left. Disappointing as it is part of staying at the Savoy.

The Savoy is all about service. Every single staff member I encountered was professional, helpful and truly eager to serve. Max at the front desk, Rahim with the concierge team, the restaurant staff, housekeeping, the spa, the valet, I wish I could remember everyone's names, they are all wonderful! I have truly never experienced a hotel quite like it. The room was lovely, though I wouldn't say it was exceptional when compared with other high-end hotels...but I also was expecting a little more of a view based on the description, so that did affect my opinion a little bit. But this is truly a minor "first world" note. I loved my time at The Savoy and I would definitely stay again.

Staff questioned me like I was being cross examined when I had a fourth guest standing next to me who was NOT staying w us at check in. Continued to pound me w questions despite a two-night $3000 stay. To boot, ordered ice which never arrived. Still waiting and we’re in Paris now.

The Savoy is one of my favourite hotels in the world. The service and facilities are excellent. You’re in the heart of London just a short walk to most things. The restaurants and bars are excellent. I’d definitely recommend it

Fabulous hotel with great staff. Some loud construction going on outside and road in front of hotel was closed so had to walk my bags several blocks to get there.

Best hotel in London! Pricey, but well worth it. The staff makes it a point to remember your name and make you feel welcome. We were only there two nights but felt at home. We arrived slightly before check-in time so that put us in a very nice lounge and brought champagne while we waited. The area is a bit tourist-y, but we were there Easter week/spring break so maybe it's not *always* that bad. Even so, the hotel is back off the main road, so getting into a cab is not a life and death matter! Easy walking to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace. Fun fact: The driveway into the front of the hotel is "right-side" drive. Must be the only road in London that's that way and it confuses the heck out of inexperienced cabbies and/or Uber drivers.

This traditional hotel is located in the heart of the theater district and steps away from Covent Garden. It is immaculate. The staff is very helpful and nice and the Gordon Ramsay restaurant which is located inside the hotel is phenomenal. The accommodations were excellent and the staff at the front desk, especially Daniel and the bellman, especially Tomas made our stay amazing. Timothy in the Thames room for tea was fantastic. However, the housekeeping got a little creepy as all of our stuff got touched, moved every time they came in. The servers in the River were rude, obnoxious and over the top in waiting on us. We had so many staff come to our table, it was ridiculous and made for confusion and poor service. Also the meal in River was very disappointing. Fish and chips dish was over cooked. The scallop appetizer had 2 decent sized scallops and 1 puny one.

Rooms had every need, nothing to complain about. Staff attentive and over the top. Location was convenient and safe. A wonderful step back in time of an elegant era preserved. The Savoy Restaurant for breakfast do not be afraid to ask for food to be prepared to your order. If it is it will be amazing. Staff is wonderful thank you for the chocolate and strawberries sent to our room. They sincerely want to make it right. However, the Gordon Ramsey Restaurants were not up to Savoy standards. The steak was beautiful piece of meat basted in a sugary syrup sauce that did not compliment the beef. The salad dressing was overpowering on mustard and not balanced. The duck pate had a sweetness added that deflected and destroyed the dish. The cream spinach was watery and not seasoned. However the service was great but we missed out an anticipated great meal and sent back to kitchen. Gordon Ramsey’s recipes get a two because the bread was good and staff gets a 10. But they refused to charge for the meal. Ramsey taste your own recipes, not good. Savoy you were the best and we hope to return soon.

Lovely hotel, service needed a lot more attention dining at the hotel was a joke especially weekends, insufficient room for hotel guests. We had not been informed the need to book both restaurants for breakfast (excluding Gordon Ramsay) and especially the American Bar during the evening when the place was taken over by the next door theatre goers having pre drinks. So regardless of your stay you could not enter! Room was nice and very clean. Sorry to gripe but my partner and I had a room on the ninth floor of the hotel, two very small elevators servicing the wing we were in. During a 10 day stay, the elevators were being continuously worked upon leaving one only working. On one occasion one was being worked upon the other simply gave up the ghost we ended up walking down the stair well. A second occasion whilst in the elevator with a member of staff the and other guests, the elevator stopped then started to free fall a little before juddering to a halt. We obviously managed to get back to the ground floor from the 6th. Tow of the lady guests in the elevator were incredibly frightened by the experience. Last day hotel could not find our luggage and we waited 20 minutes for some to be found. All in all a great experience with obvious issues regarding staff.

This was the first time that myself and my wife have been to this hotel. From the minute we walked through the door, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. We used one of the in house restaurants on the final evening and apart from when one of the servings was cold and was changed immediately the food was out of this world as was the breakfast this morning. The staff in the restaurant were excellent, very knowledgeable. The actual room we had was out of this world.

A beautiful hotel, lovely spacious clean rooms. Fresh water, free minibar, use of dressing gowns and slippers. Amazing breakfast and we had dinner at the Savoy Grill, we had the Savoy Grill Experience which was amazing. The American bar did wonderful cocktails too. All of the staff were extremely friendly and happy.

The Savoy an exceptional hotel that’s luxurious, has great dining and drinks options and has exceptional service. I was even more pleased to be upgraded to a suite which was a few categories above the luxury king I booked for myself. The only thing I was unimpressed by was the lack of food & beverage options in the mini bar, I thought there should have been more snacks like nuts , sweets and confectionery etc. The breakfast was excellent and really tasty . I had eggs Benedict which is my favourite breakfast and it was lush. I had a fantastic time and would very highly recommend it !!
