The water came out of the taps scolding and no signs to warn you off this the shower came out so hot i had a minor burn turning it off ,and likewise no signes and the signage on the shower has worn off so you had to turn to find the water temperature and it came out scolding hot, the Aircon was old and noisey so for £350 it was not value for money

No double glazing so can hear people talking in street from high floors, no iron or board in room, no alternative milks for a £28 breakfast! A/C didn't go below 19C and very hot with thick duvet.

Loved this place! It’s an old London building and therefore has its old building charms, but is beautifully maintained and decorated. The rooms were lovely and the staff so friendly. The restaurant onsite is also great, and there’s a little convenience store on the corner and one block or so away. There’s a coffee shop called Nero directly out the front door if you prefer a more continental type breakfast. Being with walking distance to Piccadilly Circus and other main areas was brilliant. We’d uber out to our first destination in the morning and make our way back. It’s a nice area too, so no concerns being out late. All around, this will be our designated spot when we return to London next.

Stayed for 3 nights while on a family holiday. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Although the reviews described the staff as friendly and helpful, that was not the case for us. No one was interested in helping guests. The concierge was rude. Other staff just ignored us. We did notice that they were warmer with British guests. Maybe they just don't like Americans? Regardless, the hotel is beat. The furnishings are old and looked as if they came from a garage sale. The lift was broken during our entire stay. The revolving front door was out-of-order as well. We could function without each of those, but I have a feeling those signs have been there quite awhile. Our beds were old, thin spring mattresses on platforms. For the price, this hotel is not acceptable and we will not go back. We are now in Paris at an equally priced hotel that is modern and comfortable with a helpful staff. Loved London, but we will chose a different hotel for our next visit!

Excellent value for money and 4 star without a doubt. I was bit worried having read some reviews but was pleasantly surprised. There is plenty of parking within minutes of hotel and concierge were terrific at offering advice. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Not great, hotel overall is small from catching the lifts and navigating around the hall and awkward doors. Room size was average and disappointing considering it's Mayfair and the cost. TV was really dated and hard to use. Conference room for meetings were too hot. If you turned the AC on, it was hard hear the presenters.

Great property and location is superb! Upper floors are remodeled an nice (floor 6) and comfortable. Curzon Street is noisy though and be aware that it goes all night with traffic and restaurants below

The hotel is undergoing some room renovations and general improvements. We stayed in one of the rooms that has had a makeover and it was outstanding. we had a Suite that even had an outdoor balcony. The lobby and dining areas were very comfortable. Best of all, was the staff. They were extremely helpful with every aspect of our stay.

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and unfortunately this last stay was the most disappointing. The condition of the hotel just goes downhill each time i return. The reception was kind enough to allow me an early check albeit I appeared to be the only guest on my floor. The room could have used a lot of care and cleaning, including vacuuming, perhaps a serious steam clean of the carpets and hood wipe down of the walls and furnishings, there were dirt and mold by the bed, and crumbs left from the prior guest under the desk area. Beware of the tea sets provided, they are not washed daily if at all. Outlets are a hit or miss, as not all of them are operable, and lastly the TV would operate from time to time. Hotel is situated in a prime location but in need of some serious TLC.

Good location for corporate stay, but the rate was high for a fairly small and standard room. The beds are very uncomfortable, and the noise from pipes etc on the top floor create a lot of noise on the 7th floor. I booked for a colleague also and her room wasn't as clean as it ought to be, with noticeable dirt in the bathroom.

The location of this hotel is really great. It is close to many of London’s attractions within walking distance. The Green Park station tube is also close by. Shepard’s Market is just across the street with many good options for supper or a few pints. The location, unfortunately, is the only thing going for this hotel. The facilities are very run down and tired. The carpeting in the rooms have stains, there were holes in the drapes and the mattresses have no mattress covers nor fitted sheeting. This was true for 2 rooms that we had reserved. The hotel is also very loud and can hear everything from the hallways and adjacent rooms. The breakfast they serve is subpar with cold coffee. The staff were generally friendly however my mother-in-law who is 80 was pushed out of the way in the doorway by the concierge without apology nor excuse-me to serve other “higher” end clients. Overall very disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend. 2 stars was given only because of the locale, otherwise it would be a 1-star.

We had a comfortable, clean stay here, and the location is perfect for seeing and doing a lot in London. The hotel room furniture was defiantly well used but the bed was very comfy and everything was clean, just dated. All and all it was a pleasant place to stay.

This was a great location for seeing the major attractions around London. Near a tube station and in walking distance of many attractions. The beds/pillows were very comfortable. Very clean quiet nice hotel in beautiful Mayfair.

For our 9 night stay, we tried 4 times to hae maintenance get our TV to work. It never did. Also, the hair dryer worked on low heat, but not high heat. It took only one try to get them to replace the telelphone handset cord for one that let us use the phone to call the front desk.

It's located in a lovely area, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. My only gripes, which may be partially due to the location of my room, are that the bathtub didn't drain while I was using the shower. By the time I was done washing myself, I was standing in ankle-deep water. The second is that there was a lot of street noise, which made it difficult to sleep without earplugs.

Good size room - Not noisy. Fast hot water. Clean comfy bed. Just could have been cleaner - sticky brown splashes on the blackout curtains and al little drab. Good location - Dd not have breakfast as plenty of local places cheaper.

The management was terrible! Service slow to non existent. Checked in near 6 pm, went to eat dinner and have drinks. Returned to room near 11 pm. Got into bed and bed was broke. Called front desk... initially it was "sorry, we are fully booked! ". 30 minutes late as we were scrambling looking to make other arrangements, front desk called. They amazingly found us a room.....a much much smaller room. Following morning i spome with manager, that conversaion went nowhere! His attitude was basically.....just be happy you have a room. The following morning we called front desk for towels and to turn towel heater off in bathroom. Front desk lerson said they\'d ne right up. 30 minutes passed and we had to go get towels at front desk amd nobody ever did come to turn off towel heat rack. For the money.... you can def do better!

Fantastic location and great customer service from all of the team at the Washington Mayfair Hotel. We had a lovely 3 day break. Room was immaculately clean and the hotel itself is quiet with a super comfortable bed, you can definitely get a good nights sleep. The location is brilliant and the team go above and beyond. We will definitely be booking again, thanks for a great stay!

The facility was old and needed updating. Furniture was is worn and the blinds were filthy. The staff was not helpful, room service was nonexistent...phone went unanswered. The onsite restaurant was very un-inviting...had breakfast from off the menu instead of buffet which seemed to annoy the staff. Went once for dinner since no local resturants were available. Great property and location is superb! Upper floors are remodeled an nice (floor 6) and comfortable. Curzon Street is noisy though and be aware that it goes all night with traffic and restaurants below

Loved this place! It’s an old London building and therefore has its old building charms, but is beautifully maintained and decorated. The rooms were lovely and the staff so friendly. The restaurant onsite is also great, and there’s a little convenience store on the corner and one block or so away. There’s a coffee shop called Nero directly out the front door if you prefer a more continental type breakfast. Being with walking distance to Piccadilly Circus and other main areas was brilliant. We’d uber out to our first destination in the morning and make our way back. It’s a nice area too, so no concerns being out late. All around, this will be our designated spot when we return to London next.

We chose the Washington Mayfair Hotel because it was only a half block away from a different hotel our son & his wife were staying in, but about a hundred dollars per night less expensive. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, the room size was plenty large, the bathroom was excellent with an awesome shower - such great water flow! The concierge was extremely helpful, and the hotel staff found us an electrical adapter we could use since we hadn't brought our own. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The pillows were rather flat and hard, but that was my only small disappointment. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located within walking distance of most major attractions including Buckingham Palace. Mayfair is absolutely beautiful with plenty of restaurants in the area. The hotel's breakfast was also a great option in the morning. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. My one major suggestion would be to have a kid's menu for dinner or kid's portions. Because we were traveling with children, we needed to find other restaurants in the area that were kid friendly and the options are limited.

Staff were friendly, location was good but the room could do with some tlc. Carpet was meh and the furniture was a bit battered showing signs of wear and tear. No usb ports which surprised me for London these days. Bed was not comfy, suspect not dissimilar to sleeping at the London dungeons on the rack. Did what we needed but not the best nights sleep I have ever had. Room could do with a refurb, the common areas were perfectly tidy and pleasant.
