This was an amazing place to stay. The best part was the breakfast in the morning that was included. The staff that served breakfast were amazing. There are some stairs to get into the hotel, but after that it was accessible. Great location close to some good shopping areas. Would recommend this as a quiet location and home base while in London.

Flew in to London and got the express to painting then easy Tube to Great Portland Street. Hotel was a short walk. We took advantage of service to leave baggage on site before our check in time so we could wander and get lunch. Back for an early noon check in and some catch up sleep. Walked around Regents Park and up to Camden for a lovely dinner and stroll along the canal. Today we will again use the hotel to hold luggage after check out until we are ready to head back to the train station. Staff have been incredibly helpful and cheery.

The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. We had one issue with the air conditioning unit in our room being clogged with dust. We reported it the next morning and were moved to another room.

My first room had poorly working air conditioning. My first night was very hot and not good for sleeping. Once they moved me to a different room, it was great! Nice breakfast and overall very nice hotel.

Disappointed that bar shut at around 12, whilst it should have been 24 hours! Also just one person covering the whole hotel overnight is not ideal, so no bar open no room service! Appreciate that sickness etc can happen however should be some contingency there! But otherwise a pleasant stay and good location. I stayed on the 26th of October 2024 - The employee who worked overnight that day deserves a medal and could you please apologise to him as took out my frustration on him for bar not being open, if that issue can be resolved will stay again, many thanks Stuart

Lovely property but could hear a lot of noise outside overnight. Beds are also quite hard. We unfortunately coilsnt get the aircon remote.to turn on in our room so it was quite warm.

Cleanliness is top notch Wish they didn’t make distinction between continental and “hot “ breakfast ( which costs an additional 5 pounds per person ) Not sure how safe is area is - though we came home real late twice after watching West End shows without incident - bars still open close to midnight so you never know No refrigerator in the room though they offered to put one - not sure how they’re going to fit it in such a small room

The breakfast was buffet, but fancy with full service coffee or tea, white linens, & beautiful dining room. All the food was fresh & delicious. The room was very beautiful, clean, & functional. The front desk & bar service was so friendly & amazing. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

Really nice quaint hotel. Very clean, and while it has a classic look overall, is fairly modern and fresh. Stayed there twice now for business and both times were great. Very quiet hotel and really get some great sleep.

Well located for the theatre and situated in a quiet and well maintained area. The staff were very welcoming and efficient both on the reception area and in the restaurant for breakfast. There was a good choice selection for breakfast and the standard of service shown by the staff was excellent. The superior double bedroom was a good size, clean, comfortable and well laid out, the shower was powerful and well maintained. The complimentary accessories were good. I would certainly recommend this hotel and have already booked again for a few months time.

The room was large and was very clean and the beds were comfortable, our bathroom was large with a bath, shower, shampoo, conditioner. shower gel, body lotion an soap. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they sorted out an air-con issue straight away. We had continental breakfast that was very good quality. We had prepaid for this hotel for one night. When we arrived it took some time for someone to show up to check us in. when we went up to the room there were empty water and beer bottles on the floor in front of our door. the door was slightly open. the restroom was filthy. So we went down and said we are not staying. the manager was very very rude and refused to refund. There was no way we were going to stay in such a filthy and badly run hotel. If that is not enough we are still waiting for a full refund from Expedia. Anyone thinking of booking this hotel PLEASE DON'T. I have travelled all around the world for over 40 years and never had such a horrible experience. Don't be fooled by the photos online.

I selected this hotel via Expedia for a two day Theatre Break for my wife and I. It is in a quiet location on Bolsover Street, just a few minutes walk to Portland Street or Warren Street Tube Station. Which was ideal because within 4 stops on the Northern Line we were able to get into the heart of the West End. The hotel is also a short taxi ride away from Euston Main Railway Station. There is a Tesco Express convenience store just opposite Portland Street station, and a few places to eat if you wanted to stay local. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the hotel staff were great, and a very efficient lift in the centre of the lobby. We booked an Executive Twin Room which we were very happy with even though it was closer to the lift system than we would have liked. But it didn't interfere with our sleep one bit. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate with a very nice shower, and twin wash basins. Storage for clothing etc was excellent, TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities and an iron plus ironing board in the cupboard. We only used the restaurant for breakfast because we ate out for lunch and evening meals. The breakfast staff were busy, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of options at the breakfast, and we had no complaints. You must go and see Stranger Things - First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre...Outstanding.

The hotel was nice and my room was a good size and very clean. The woman on the front desk when I checked in was so disinterested, barely even looked up at me. I didn’t like that when I came back after the theatre I had to buzz the intercom to get back in. There was no mini fridge in the room which was disappointing but the bed was comfy and I got a good nights sleep

On check in, the young lady at reception came across as quite rude, didn't make eye contact and hardly spoke. I asked a couple of questions and got very blunt responses. There isn't enough signage around the building to direct people to rooms or the restaurant. Room was clean and fine. On checking out, two young staff just stood talking to each other and didn't acknowledge me waiting, in the end I just left the card on the desk and left. Both staff saw me do this, one shouted to me to ask my room number, i gave this and then he walked off with my room key and didn't respond. I have a need for your service throughout the year and based on my experience with staff here, I will not be staying again.

I booked this hotel as it was located in the newly popular area of Fitzrovia and near to an apartment I had been sharing with friends. As I had plans during my stay, I had very low expectations and needs for this trip that sadly were not met at all. The only things I was looking for a comfortable place to stay and one that was safe. From the check in I should have known better, as the staff was unfamiliar with the process and seemed confused..possibly they were being trained but were given no guidance. As for comfort, the bed was nice and room well appointed-I especially liked the kettle and coffee/tea set up in the room. Unfortunately the temperature controls do not work and the room was set at 78*F the entire time making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The biggest issue was that the housekeeper left my door propped open after cleaning it. Making me fearful as I was a solo traveler. The management only asked if I was sure that happened as the hskp staff "remembered closing the door". Especially terrifying as they said my rm. number several times out loud. When asking for a late check out to compensate I was met with a mini argument. Very disappointed about this, would definitely not recommend as they do not take safety in the hotel serious.

Great hotel and if I'm back in London again I'd stay here easily. Not much more than a 5 min walk from the underground at warren street and from there well London is at your calling. Not that we needed much help or assistance but on the odd occasion we did the staff were very helpful and friendly. I've stayed in quite a few hotels over the years some good and some shall we not much more than a bed for the night but the Fitzrovia Hotel falling into the top tier bracket easily.
Great hotel and if I'm back in London again I'd stay here easily. Not much more than a 5 min walk from the underground at warren street and from there well London is at your calling. Not that we needed much help or assistance but on the odd occasion we did the staff were very helpful and friendly. My daughter recommended this hotel after visiting with her family. We decided to book here too and were not disappointed. The location was perfect! Close to the train station and to major areas of London. The staff were outstanding and very welcoming. We had the breakfast and the food was delicious and fresh. Would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel’s area was not too bad. The hotel felt like a hostel and didn’t give its online impression. The worst was when my partner was coming into the hotel, the bartender says to him, “what do you want” in a very tone. The interaction was not pleasant. Thankfully we only stayed one night and moved on to much nicer hotel. I would never think to stay there again.

The property was great. Room was excellent size, beds were comfortable. Like a 2 block walk to the underground station. Area was nice, safe and quiet. Went to several restaurants in the area and all were amazing. Close to other amenities as well like a quick shop to get other essentials if needed. We wanted to be near but not IN the hype of some other areas. It was a beautiful and a great value for its location.

A very nice hotel with good, central location. Many restaurants, pubs and shops in the neighbourhood and yet a calm area. Approx. 10-15 min walk to Regents Park respectively Oxford Street. Friendly and helpfull staff.

I took my daughter to London to do some shopping, this hotel is only five minutes walk from Oxford Street, there are plenty restaurants nearby. The hotel is easy to get to from Kings Cross Station, we caught the bus to the hotel but on the way back we walked to the station, it only took 20 minutes. The room was is very clean, comfortable beds, great bathroom with shower, iron and iron board in the room but no fridge, we never use the drinks provided in hotel fridges but buy our onw and keep them chilled in the fridge, we just lived without it, very quiet street even though it's so close to Oxford Circus. Staff are friendly and helpful, free continental breakfast included but you have to pay extra for full English Breakfast. Free cancellation was also included which was nice as most other hotels you have to pay extra to include free cancellation. We go to London for sort breaks regularly and would stay in this hotel again.

I selected this hotel via Expedia for a two day Theatre Break for my wife and I. It is in a quiet location on Bolsover Street, just a few minutes walk to Portland Street or Warren Street Tube Station. Which was ideal because within 4 stops on the Northern Line we were able to get into the heart of the West End. The hotel is also a short taxi ride away from Euston Main Railway Station. There is a Tesco Express convenience store just opposite Portland Street station, and a few places to eat if you wanted to stay local. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the hotel staff were great, and a very efficient lift in the centre of the lobby. We booked an Executive Twin Room which we were very happy with even though it was closer to the lift system than we would have liked. But it didn't interfere with our sleep one bit. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate with a very nice shower, and twin wash basins. Storage for clothing etc was excellent, TV, Tea and Coffee making facilities and an iron plus ironing board in the cupboard. We only used the restaurant for breakfast because we ate out for lunch and evening meals. The breakfast staff were busy, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of options at the breakfast, and we had no complaints. You must go and see Stranger Things - First Shadow at the Phoenix Theatre...Outstanding.

Liked the location and that it was close to Oxford Circus and Regent's Park etc but just far enough away to be out of the main crowded streets. I can't think of any major dislikes at all but I guess the only thing was the price of the full breakfast. It was expensive for what you got, in terms of the cooked elements. It would have been a bit better if there was a choice of eggs, rather than just scrambled, no black pudding and no sausage when I got there about 9:30. Half and hour before the advertised last servings. Staff and rest of was fine though.

Wonderful hotel, a few teething problems at check in , but amazing value for money, great location for theatres. More than well stocked in the bathroom toiletries etc, plenty of tea, coffee and milk and the cleanest hotel kettle I’ve ever seen …… it’s rare to find one not full of limescale, so thank you, this matters to me. High class bed linen, very comfortable bed, spotlessly clean room. Huge choice at breakfast of hot and cold food and wonderful attentive staff. Thank you, we will definitely come back

Cleanliness is top notch Wish they didn’t make distinction between continental and “hot “ breakfast ( which costs an additional 5 pounds per person ) Not sure how safe is area is - though we came home real late twice after watching West End shows without incident - bars still open close to midnight so you never know No refrigerator in the room though they offered to put one - not sure how they’re going to fit it in such a small room

Stayed 2 nights, went to theater in london, and the old batersea power pant. Hotel waas very close to london underground, and cab was cheap to get to theater. A/c worked great, had breakfast in morning, everything was clean and staff were able to answer any questions. Very satisfied!

Stayed for 2 nights, reasonable sized room for London, staff are friendly and helpful. The room had all you would need to make you comfortable and extra coffer, milk were available of required. Breakfast choice was very good with a good selection of cereals and hot food. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk to the tube and 10 minutes from Oxford Circus. I would recommend you check out this hotel if you are looking for a London city break. I would have no hesitation of going back myself.
