This hotel was like Fawlty Towers. The entire stay the room key cards weren’t working so you had to wait by reception for someone to walk you to your room causing delays. Then there was no electricity on check out day for hours so we had to shower in the dark etc. apparently they had no maintenance to look at it until 10am!

I got trapped in the elevator for 5 minutes. I got into the elevator which needs card access. My card was oddly not working. I tried a few more times and the elevator shut down and the lights went out with me trapped inside. I took five minutes for employees to get me out. Then, they tried to give me a new card and their card coding system does not work well. I was given a new card for my room. The card did not work in the elevator so I had to walk up to my room on THE SIXTH FLOOR. I get to my room and the card did not work. I then had to walk back down to the first floor where an attendant had to come back up to my room to let me in. What a nightmare. Never staying here again.

Our stay was good but a couple of issues with bar/restaurant: - was asked to leave bar at 11.00 pm which we have never experienced whilst staying in a hotel before - bar staff not consistent when asking if we wanted to pay for drinks or add to our bill - during breakfast staff didn’t provide milk for tea and coffee, had to ask for it - menu should be displayed on dining tables with additional breakfast items eg omelettes (was only aware these were available when we heard another guest order one) - breakfast items were left empty and not replenished

Hotel lobby and restaurant are nice enough, but for the price paid I believe a lot is lacking. The standard double room is incredibly small and cramped (two of us had to move around each other). Also they take a £50 deposit which is not mentioned anywhere and not common of hotels to do. Lastly, rooms 20-50 aren’t accessible with the lift and can only be accessed by a set of stairs, which is very inconvenient if you have heavy luggage.

As usual the staff were friendly on arrival and quickly checked us in and stowed our luggage until our room was available. The reception area is comfy and welcoming with water for those waiting and biscuits and apples for the guests. The bed was comfy,the free toiletries were good quality and tea and coffee in the room if required.

Air con in room VERY noisy. Had to decide whether to be awake and cool or try to sleep and overheat. Walls seem paper thin - adjoining room door meant I could hear every word the ladies next door were talking about. Service overall is fine - bar isn’t very good. No beer on tap for both nights I was there and unceremoniously dumped out at 10pm with little to no notice.

The staff were all very helpful and polite. Check in was smooth. We found the room, very small and the ensuite was tiny, even the toilet flush handle scraped into the wall when used. The shower was cramped (caravan like). The beds were comfy, lovely duvets and pillows. The gym was terrible. Tiny and smelly. There is, however a gym in the Bloomsbury opposite which can be used. A shame to have to cross the road in the rain to go use it though. Breakfast was very nice. Plenty of choice, all well cooked, the eggs benedict was delicious. They took £50 deposit on arrival, which wasn't explained prior to the stay (straight from account rather than held on card). I am still waiting for it to be returned 3 days later. This is very bad form and unlike any other hotel I've encountered. The staff all work very hard and are to be commended. The room/ensuite size and deposit situation are deal breakers, and we won't be returning. We would however consider the Bloomsbury.

I usually stay at the Radisson on a regular basis and usually it’s amazing but this time not so much. Sink plug was broken, TV kept switching off and the shower tray was quite dirty with hair. The carpet had seen better days too and looked dirty and there was a nasty stain on the chair by the window. Shower was extremely small too. Bed was really comfy and coffee machine was good though.

I’ve stayed in several Radisson hotels before and was always impressed by their quality and professionalism. Unfortunately, this property is far below the standard I’ve come to expect from Radisson. Positive note: The location is excellent – central, convenient, and perfect for exploring London. However, that’s where the positives end. We booked for one week. The room provided did not match the description: instead of two separate beds, we received one 1.60 m bed, even though I had clearly requested twin beds as I was travelling with my 18-year-old daughter. Upon entering, we were greeted by a strong, musty smell. The windows cannot be opened, and the air circulation relies on a noisy fan. The room was dark and visibly dirty – dust in the corners, stains on the carpet, sticky switches, and an overall neglected impression. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub drain was clogged, and whenever the neighbours showered, dirty water and hair came back up through our drain. Lighting throughout the room is very dim, which makes the atmosphere even more unpleasant. Service and reception: The reception staff were polite but seemed overwhelmed. When we mentioned the condition of the room, the response was superficial, and a room change was denied due to “full occupancy.” There was no real apology or solution offered. 1st room we were given wasnt clean! Dirty toilet, unwashed glasses etc..... staff were very apologetic in fairness, then gave us another room. Hairdryer didnt work properly and you had to keep holding the kettle switch to boil it. No nets etc on the windows so you had to keep curtains closed all the time for any privacy

The room was old and in poor condition - plaster applied to several areas falling apart itself. It’s difficult to assess how clean staff kept the room as everything looked very old - the kind of carpet that you’d rather not walk barefoot on. My room was close to the elevator and the security doors that only guests can open: unfortunately they don’t have a soft gentle closing, rather a loud thud each time. With the other guests staying on my floor and going as they pleased at different times of the day and night, AND the paper thin walls, this affected the quality of my sleep.

We were booked in for a 3 night stay, we left after the first night. The room was in a disgusting state, absolutely filthy carpet with what could possibly be blood stains. The bathroom was full of dirty marks. This room should not be available for people to stay in this condition. The hotel accepts no responsibility in giving a refund. Do not stay here, the photos on hotels.com are clearly not up to date, this is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Do not stay here! Almost certain the amazing reviews are fake because no one could possibly give this hotel a good review.

Cleaner didn't replace face towels. Called down. They say “Be right up” Nobody came. in room fridge was falling apart. Door seal kept falling off. Door to cupboard containing fridge broken. Dangling on one hinge Dirty glasses never replaced. Once just rinsed in sink. Ewww! Overpriced considering the issues above.

I was a little disappointed with our stay. The location and staff were great but I booked a premier room and it was tiny. The bathroom had a small bath with a hand held shower attachment which you had to keep in your hand for the whole shower and with no shower curtain it soaked the whole bathroom. They would do better taking the bath out and putting a walk in shower there instead.

We stayed for 2 nights first night was not good we were given room 227 this room was no bigger than a cupboard and really should not be given out as a double room. We were moved the following day to a much more suitable room. When we requested the room move reception were aware that it was a very small room and apologised

This hotel is fantastically located for shopping, dining and central London attractions. The people were very efficient and the reception area and bar were great. The room was very clean though a little cramped. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly as it kept pushing out hot air even though thermostat set to 16 degrees. Added to that the windows were sealed. All in all one of my most uncomfortable nights in London.

Staff were very friendly, the reception and bar area lovely, however the room was very small, dated and in need of renovation. It was extremely noisy so improvements on the windows would help. Not value for money, for what we paid I'd have rather stayed at a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge.

Room was dated and a little 'tatty'. Door looked like it had been forced open, as there were lots of screw holes in the top of the door. The door leading onto the hall way from the stairwell was not secured, so no security between the lobby and the room doors. Staff were friendly and polite, but the cost of the room definitely did not reflect the standard. Overall the hotel itself was good, but the room was poor. Wouldt stay there again.

We were moved last minute to the hotel Across the road with a weird explanation about booking systems. It was a bit haphazard. I had booked a twin room to share with my mother but we were then given a double and it was a bother to sort it all out and the staff was nice but not really willing to help.

We made a reservation through Expedia, which had been confirmed and the hotel had been emailing me, and then when we checked in they didn’t have it. The front desk staff asked us to wait for 15 minutes while he figured it out. It ended up being okay, but we were stressed and he didn’t let us know at the beginning that it was fine and he just had to create a new booking, which would’ve eased our anxiety about waiting. The room is quite small for two people to move around in, and has a musty smell and is a bit dirty. Shower and bed were nice.

It wasnt the best visit. The first room had the sound of running water all night so they changed me to another room for the 2nd night. It also had a broken lock on the door plus no toilet paper in the room. The second room was quieter but had temperature issues in the shower. When checking out the hotel had charged me on my company credit card 6 times locking my account so I had to use my private account to pay. The reception staff were incapable of fixing this issue. I then had to ring the hotel from the airport to get a manager to fix it. At this stage 5 hrs later it still has not been fixed.

Well having a room available would have been a good start! Reception staff were dismissive and rude. They moved me to their Waterloo hotel but I had to get myself there and they insisted I prepay before arriving at the hotel (and then refused to give a receipt). Waterloo was fine but expensive as I had to pay taxi fares, until checkout where they argued about providing a receipt. In the end I got one emailed me after another rude encounter from reception staff. Highly disappointed especially for their room prices. Won’t risk staying here again.

We arrived early left bags for the morning we had requested twin rooms but got doubles. We returned for check in at 3:00. Our rooms were not ready. We were eventually given room keys at 3:50 went to the room to find the cleaner still inside. We returned to the reception to let them know it was still being cleaned and had to leave bags again in storage as we had a meal booked . Due to the issues at the hotel we were u able to shower and change before our meal. We were given a drink each as compensation. However there was no draught beer available due to pumps being off. We eventually got to our rooms when we returned in the evening. The rooms were clean but the coffee cups were dirty. We were never told what time breakfast was or given information about WiFi etc. Extremely poor customer service. We have previously stayed at Raddison Blu chains in the past as we visit annually (formally the Grafton) and have always had a pleasant stay which is why we opted for this hotel but unfortunately we have been very disappointed on this occasion. We understand that some things can’t be helped but the customer service was very poor.

This hotel had a great location right next to the British Museum and near Tottenham Court Road tube with easy access to the Elizabeth line and Heathrow. The rooms range from small to large sized and are adequately clean , the housekeepers do a good job. The bathrooms are small but functional. Breakfast is spectacular. I would recommend it. Easy well to Soho, Covent Garden and all theatres.

This hotel used to be a great place for a London weekend. Now it has just lost it. Had to change room 3 times because of lack of maintenance. Restaurant does not serve food after lunch. Cleaning is mediocre, and the front desk staff is not engaged in giving good service or understanding the guests. A pity because Radisson usually means quality.

Reception clean large smelled nice and staff friendly and the a quick check in, the room while very dated was clean and had all the required amenities. The air con however was noisy and had to switch off as the room was cold- view from the hotel windows disgusting as it was an internal window not facing a street. Breakfast wasn’t good. While the room was lovely and there were a lot of staff to offer tea and coffee the breakfast on offer the bare minimum with only sloppy scrambled eggs Ed th er than boiled and poached . It was only as we were finishing breakfast I heard a different waiter tell the neighbouring table they could order eggs . Quite infuriating - also the bacon was streaky cheap and the hashbrowns greasy . So breakfast wasn’t worth the money as there is a restaurant outside the hotel that offers breakfast all day long for half the price .

Great central property! Very clean and modern. Great staff, great breakfast. The only criticism I have is that I didn’t know I could ask for vegetarian sausages at breakfast and I didn’t know either that I could ask for eggs &c to be cooked for me. It might be worth just telling guests this sort of thing when they enter the breakfast area or when they are served coffee.
