Sublimely Sutton! This is going to be my go to hotel when I stay in Toronto. From the moment I arrived and through the time I had to bid farewell the stay here exceeded my expectation. The room was spacious, clean and with a comfortable bed where I slept like a baby. It was fantastic place to work remotely as I was able to go to some fabulous restaurants and explore the city very easily at night as the tram stops right outside of the hotel. The rooftop pool was so beautiful, clean and relaxing as I was able to take a dip after a long day of work. I like how they have pool towels and comfortable chairs upstairs. Special thanks to D’Andre, Jerwin, and the rest of the team for being some friendly, welcoming, professional and always being so wonderful. It was hard to leave, but I look forward to returning back again next year. If you’re debating whether to stay here or not…I’ll make it easy for you. Stay here!!!

Everything was great! This is my favorite hotel to stay at while visiting Toronto due to its friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The room was perfect, however the bathroom appeared to be a bit dusty and the shower had some grime around the edges of the floor. Other than that everything else was great!

The rooms are very spacious, but for a 4-star hotel, the cleanliness could be better. The tiles near the refrigerator were dirty and sticky, the windows were dirty, and the stainless steel lamp holders were covered in fingerprints. As for the carpet in the hallway, it had some black stains in places, which wasn't great...I would not recommend room 415 as it overlooks the road and unfortunately the windows are not well soundproofed, so every night we could hear police and ambulance sirens as well as cars accelerating. I would recommend choosing a room on the other side, which I think is quieter... As for the Abrielle restaurant, you need to be patient because the staff are young and quite "laid back." It's a shame because the restaurant is very beautiful, but the food and service are clearly not worthy of a 4-star rating... On the other hand, the hotel's location is ideal for sightseeing, the pool is nice, and the bedding is very comfortable.

The room was super clean and the air system was very adjustable. We looked out on a courtyard, but still got some morning sun. There was a walk-in shower (no tub), with a rain head and a detachable shower head. The water pressure was just enough, but I think that’s an eco measure. All the staff we encountered were amazing - friendly, helpful, and willing to do that little bit extra. The beds were comfy. The area was very walkable and on a main transit route. We didn’t swim, but there was a lovely pool, long enough to do laps in, with a bit of a deep end. All in all a great stay.

Great staff and service was outstanding. We had to ask to change rooms because the initial room we were given had an inner door that separated us from the next room and you could hear everything. The hotel accommodated us quickly and was able to provide us with alternate room that was quite. The hotel was very clean. The only feedback I would give is that the bathrooms felt a bit outdated but overall a great stay in a fantastic location.

I stayed at Sutton Place Hotel in Toronto and honestly, for the very high price they charge, the experience was disappointing. If it were a budget hotel I wouldn’t mind, but at this rate the issues are unacceptable. - I requested a different room layout months in advance multiple times, this wasn’t actioned and management were totally nonplussed when I asked about this. - Massive desk in the room but no mirror above/on it, so it couldn’t be used as a vanity. - The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was positioned ridiculously low. - No bottled water provided in the room — after a long day of travel, that’s the bare minimum. - No kettle or tea-making facilities, which is shocking at this price point. - No hooks anywhere, despite loads of empty wall space. - Large TV was hanging ominously forwards off the wall. I complained, but nothing was fixed. - Every day we received different towels. Some days one flannel, some days two, some days none at all. One day they left on dirty towel on the floor but took the rest, another they removed one of the unused robes from the bathroom? When I called to ask for some towels I was brought pillowcases. Totally bizarre. - The room wasn’t even vacuumed on arrival. - Ice machine on our floor didn’t work the whole stay, even after multiple complaints. - We came back at 12:30pm and the keycard scanner on the main door didn’t work at all. If someone hadn’t heard me knocking, I’d have been locked outside in the middle of the night.

The number one thing that stands out about this hotel is how great the staff is. Second time we’ve stayed here and they are always so nice and go out of their way to do their absolute best for you. It’s the key to a great stay. Never staying anywhere else in Toronto!

Hands down, one of the best experiences we have had. We were warmly welcomed throughout our week in Toronto by every staff member. Particularly, Julian amd Jervin, who personally delivered a delicious dessert with toasting bubbles when we shared that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The whole concierge staff and valet were also very helpful with suggestions,directions, and tips for getting around. The hotel room was very spacious, clean, and the rooms were serviced daily. The temperature control was very efficient at cooling or warming when needed. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous but the real gem of this location is the employees. From the second we walked in the door we were met with the friendliest, most helpful staff I’ve ever experienced at any hotel, and I travel a lot. They were warm and accommodating and went above and beyond to make my stay incredible. The rooms are huge, clean and beautiful. All amenities are perfect, valet was beyond easy. This will be my number one choice for stay any time I visit TO. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more, it was perfection.

Spacious room with comfortable King bed. Large bathroom and good shower. The location is a few blocks from Rogers Center and lakefront. There many good restaurants in walking distance. Valet parking was easy and well worth the extra fee for the convenience.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Hotel is quiet, elevators are fast and reception staff are wonderful. Food and Beverage service at hotel is not great. Hours are irregular, even to get an early morning coffee is difficult. Our breakfast experience was terrible, waited a very long time for our food. Would stay here again but would not dine there.
