Was clean a good location for my needs. The music is way to loud as is the personal talking on the microphone, you can not have a conversation with your family members sitting beside you. Not reason to blast the music in such a small area, for this reason we left the pools for the beach daily

The Wi-Fi was horrible the furniture was old. Some of the room you had to walk up flights of stair because there are no elevators. There were flies and bees in the dining area so the desserts and danishes had flies on it. The hot water was lukewarm and the water pressure was poor. The staff was nice. The beach has more rocks than sand. I was very disappointed. I would only give this place 2 1/2 stars

Baja demasiado la calidad que dejen meter a la gente a la alberca con ropa no adecuada como con calcetines, mezclilla, niños en pañales, etc. No es seguro que tengan abierto el río de al lado con dos cocodrilos. Gente que desayuna en pijama. 0 control de códigos de vestimenta esenciales. Check out a las 11, cuando todos los hoteles es a las 12.

The pool is not big enough for all the people there. In general it is three star hotel and you cannot expect 4 or 5 star environment and you get what you paid for. I had to stay there one night and it was new experience as there were mostly local tourist staying in that hotel.

Lo bueno: personal muy amable y atento, ambiente agradable, bonitas instalaciones, excelente ubicación y accesibilidad, precio accesible. Lo que puede mejorar: me gustaría que hubiera mayor variedad de platillos en el restaurante "Los Helechos" y que se esmeren un poco más para mejorar el sabor de los mismos. En el restaurante italiano todo está muy rico, sólo sugeriría agregar más platillos al menú. El poco espacio de playa que tiene está bastante descuidado, lleno de piedras y basura, además de que exactamente en ese punto desemboca un canal, por lo tanto, no se puede utilizar esa playa para ir a asolearse o meterse al mar ahí.

Cleaning staff was terrible. They took our towels and never replaced them. We always had to phone down for fresh ones. Never ever replaced our bottled water in our room, we had to buy it. The furniture was broken, couch you couldn’t sit on, afraid it would collapse, drawers in bedroom wouldn’t open up. Pillows were lumpy. Are floors weren’t swept. Toilet seats were awful, didn’t fit properly, they pinched your ass every time. The waiters and waitresses were the only good thing.

We only stayed one night so we didn't have a chance to experience too much of the property. The room was fairly clean but a bit dated. There were no towels in our room and had to ask twice to get some. The sink and shower drains were backed up. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet food was pretty good, especially compared to other similar places we have stayed. I have to say that I did find a hair in some of my food but the staff was apologetic about it. Overall it was a mixed experience but I wouldn't rule out staying there again. It wasn't an expensive place to stay so I wasn't expecting luxury.

This property is disgustingly filthy. The windows in our room were cracked with tape on them. The couches were stained with God knows what the globe was busted on the ceiling fan with wires hanging out. We reported this to expedia and of course, they come back and say it's on the resort and the resort says they won't refund because of policy. But Expedia is the one advertising on their website and it is not what they advertise. We even sent pictures of the broken windows and the filth and the stained couches too Expedia, and they are still trying to push off on the resort. And not refund me. We had to leave after the first night because of conditions and had to scramble last minute to find a place to stay the next 20 days. After sending pictures to Expedia, the guy on the phone even stated that we need to be moved immediately because it is a safety issue and Expedia is still refusing to refund..We tried to speak to the hotel about everything and they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about and got no help. They were very rude. BE AWARE, STAY AWAY. Also, the view from our window on one side was a field full of trash and transients. You could not eat the food, it had been sitting all day, even the breakfast first thing was cold and not edible. The bird poop is all over the tables and in the restaurant.

Hotel was ok. Pictures were deceiving. We got all inclusive but only ate there once. Wasn’t very good. No AC in living room or bathroom but was cool in bedrooms. No Fridge since there is no electricity unless you leave one of your keys in slot. Definitely not a relax and vacation mode type of hotel.

This is a hotel that caters to Mexican families. Keep that it mind when booking. Definitely not the place for young couples! The staff is friendly but has limited knowledge of English so it would be good to know a little bit of basic Spanish if you plan on staying here. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the A/C worked great. The food was good (not gourmet) and the drinks were good as well. My only complaint was that there was very little hot water pressure (at least in our room).

The hotel room was modestly decorated, but was clean and spacious. The view was magnificent. The staff was great. The only thing we didn’t like was the all-inclusive situation. We were forced to wear a bright pink wristband, and they wouldn’t let us on the property if we didn’t have it. The only food that was available all day was a small snack bar and everything looked barely edible. The breakfast didn’t look too good and we were never around for the other scheduled meal times so I can’t review that.

This was very unorganized for starter , only three people in the whole resort spoke any English and it was hard to understand, there was one fantastic waiter named Jesus very helpful and polite and try to make us feel comfortable, when we tried to ask for different thing no one understood us , the toilet broke on the second last day and they did nothing about it , very poor recommendation to this resort .

Disappointing Stay: A Review of Costa Club Punta Arena in Puerto Vallarta I had a very disappointing stay at Costa Club Punta Arena in Puerto Vallarta. Despite booking a room with a king-size bed, we were initially given a room with a double bed due to unavailability. The air conditioning in the room was also not working, which prompted us to request a new room. Although we were relocated, the hot water in the shower was not functioning. Despite multiple complaints to the reception, the issue was not resolved promptly. The resort's dining experience was also subpar. While the meals were acceptable, the dining area was constantly plagued by pigeons and other birds, leading to feathers, dust, and bird droppings being blown around. This unsanitary condition resulted in both my partner and me suffering from diarrhea, which we attribute to the contamination from the birds. Furthermore, the customer service at the resort was lacking. We felt unwelcome and were made to feel as though the issues we experienced were our fault. Overall, I cannot recommend Costa Club Punta Arena to anyone based on my experience.

The restaurant and pool staff were very good however the reception staff, Fanni and Rodolfo were not helpful at all. I booked a king sized bed and was given two full sized beds. When I complained that that is not what I booked I was told because there two of us that were adults we were given two beds. I was told to come back the following day and that I would be given a room with the bed I booked. The following day I came back and was told to come back again the following day. Reception staff told me the same story every day I would come back requesting the bed I booked. I was never provided the room I booked. Also, there was no hot water in the shower. Had to complain twice. We had to take cold showers for three days and had to complain again. I was finally told by the technician to let the bathroom faucet sink water run for the shower to have hot water. Water pressure was very bad too. Very bad situation. I felt very discriminated by the reception staff Fanni and Rodolfo. I will never stay at this hotel again and will not recommend to family or friends.

Pictures can be deceiving. I and many guests on the property agreed this was a very misleading advertisement for this hotel. The street view of the property and the inside of the rooms gives very Motel 6 vibes. the view from our room of the outside facing the pool and ocean was nice, however rooms are very very dated. The staff is friendly and nice. I feel like the location was a great middle ground between airport, and downtown tourist attractions, and still close to the Marins where most excursions depart from. Easy 100 pesos or less taxi or uber ride from major attractions. There's a Soriana like a grocery type store very very close by. The food for snack and lunch when we arrived was horrible. Plain horrible. Didn't stick around not one day of the week to find out if dinner was as bad. On our last day we opted to try the breakfast and it was surprisingly decent and not bad at all. I did hear from other guests that the reservation restaurants onsite were much better than the buffet. Reservations have to be made between 8am-2pm, while we were up most times before then and out all Dayton excursions, I never got the chance to make one. Would I come here again? No. Was it horrible enough to leave? Maybe if you're used to infinity pool style luxury resorts, yes. But we literally used it as a place to lay our heads at night and spent most of the day away from here. Wifi worked well though.

Clean place and convenient close by a supermarket (Soriana) a short walk or drive with local transit to the Malicon. Many of the staff can't speak English but manageable. Grea place if working with a budget.

Convenient, right in the middle of El Malecón and PV Marina. Dislikes, food menu variety could be better Drinks at the late night bar by the main entrance are terrible! Beer and liquor are water down and you have to line up to get serve :(… Kudos to out server Miguel at the main restaurant, always smiling and attentive!

This is definitely a 3 star or less property seeming to be a vacation spot for local families. The pictures look great but are deceiving. The buildings need major updating. The sheets and towels were worn, food was just ok and the drinks were bottom shelf. It was not worth having an all inclusive package.
