Lakeside view is worth it. Room is on the smaller side, not bothered. Shower does leak and not strong. Location is not close to town, however I peesonally prwferred this.

Was really excited about this stay and it was the most disappointing hotel we experienced after a month in NZ. The photos were deceptive. The rooms are small and basic, very basic amenities in room, the shower floods, the bed and pillows not comfortable. Forget about the restaurant for dinner unless you book well in advance- they take a deposit and if you're not in the 48 hour cancellation window you lose your deposit. Staff seemed inexperienced and not as helpful as they could have been. Construction next door changed the setting with noise and view. The breakfast was good. We took Ubers and taxis back and forth because if the distance from town. Overall I'd say don't be fooled by the photos because it's a basic hotel for the price.

Really enjoyed our time there, the lakehouse and views are stunning. Away from hustle bustle of Queenstown. Food was great quality and well presented, service was very good, however menu was limited. Only downside was no shop or store nearby for drinks or snacks for our room.
