Fantastic staff, everyone was so attentive and helpful. The pool was a bit colder for a Fairmont property (usually their pools are warmer than most), but otherwise we loved our stay. Room amenities were amazing and the Italian restaurant on the ground floor was delicious and had wonderful staff. We didn't eat anywhere else at the hotel as we loved the Italian restaurant's food so much. The drinks were also very tasty. The gym was also great, and they have TechnoGym stand up bikes (some gyms don't have stand up bikes and as a spin instructor, I'm always appreciative of them so I can practice my classes or work on new ones). Thank you for such an amazing stay!!

Stayed for one night at the fairmont breakers, beautiful hotel, spacious rooms & bathrooms. Service was impeccable & hotel in a great location, you can walk to the marina in 5 minutes & there is lots of restaurants & shops close by all in a safe area. Nice rooftop pool area & there was a great live band playing in the bar. Obviously you have to pay to valet parking but there is self parking close. Really enjoyed our stay

Very nice hotel in a great Long Beach location. The pool complex is nicely done and the rooms very updated. Bell hop Bernard was a delight and made for a great first impression. The valet system was the best I’ve experienced. One small hiccup concerning a very lengthy wait for breakfast was managed very effectively by our waiter Mario who was not at all in the wrong. He said “This is luxury, I will take care of the bill” despite our insistence otherwise. Overall, it was a great stay. I’m hopeful management at the hotel monitors these reviews and recognizes these standout employees.

I booked a room for my birthday and had an amazing experience, from check in through checkout. The hotel is gorgeous, rooms are impeccable, spa experience was one of the best I’ve ever had, and jazz night was fun. I definitely recommend this hotel, and Racquel for a massage!

They have like a library bar that has the feel of a speakeasy and I believe Thursday to Saturday they have live music with rotating genres. Roof top bar is nice too. We had a suite and it still smelled brand new. Nice spacious clean. The two restaurants we had was good too. We’d go back for another staycation there or even just for a drink.

Fantastic hotel, clean and well-maintained. Location was great, staff were friendly and the food/drinks were excellent. We also used the hotel pool and maybe it was just the time of the day but there was no one else there and we were lucky to have had the entire pool for ourselves, so that was really nice.

This property is 5 star. We had an issue with the shower not draining. That is my only complaint. The front desk, service for extras(towels, necessary for the flooding), ice(only available out the 2nd floor). The valets, all the service was excellent. It was an unfortunate circumstance that the drain failed. The people were perfect, and I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful hotel right in my town of LBC! My hubby and I stayed for a night to celebrate his birthday and loved the cozy bed and beautiful city views! I am taking away one star for cleanliness and experience with staff and Nettuno breakfast. There were a few strands of hair in the bathroom and on the rug. For a luxury hotel, I really appreciate when the room feels completely spotless. We also didn’t feel very welcomed by the breakfast attendant. When we arrived, no one was present so we seated ourselves, which was fine. But when he returned, he said, “Looks like you found your seats" with a smirk and when asking for our room number cut my husband off to say, “You are staying here, right?” It felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. For a $32 plate, my breakfast presentation was also disappointing—eggs falling off the side and egg stains on the plate. My husband ordered the omelette with a salad, and the guest next to us ordered the same dish but received a noticeably larger portion. However, when I mentioned my concerns, the waitress was incredibly apologetic and kind! The chef came out and personally remade my meal, and the second plate looked much better, tasted amazing, and the portions were perfect. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel with great potential. I think some of the staff may be new and still settling in, which I understand. With a bit more attention to detail, this could easily be a consistent five-star experience!

The room was absolutely lovely! The bed was comfy and it was very clean inside. I guess my only complaint would be that the electrical outlets might wanna be checked. I thought I had left my phone charging overnight only to wake up to it still being at 16% so I used my powerbank instead. Also, for those who like long showers (cus I know I take about 30min) I recommend you leave a towel on the floor at the bathroom entrance to catch possible leakage. My first shower there, I came to find that the water had leaked out onto the room hallway. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay!

We decided to travel to Southern California for our anniversary and wanted to stay somewhere different than Anaheim. Our first impressions of the hotel were amazing. It’s beautiful and the staff is top notch. On our third night the a/c wasn’t working on the 11th floor. We called the front desk at 10:00pm because the room was miserably hot and we couldn’t sleep. They said it should be fixed within 20 minutes but almost an hour later it was still not working. We asked for a room on a different floor and they moved us right over. Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable for the next 2 nights. Great service but not a good couple of nights.

My room was heaven, the best bed and pillows ever. Shower head was a dream. I loved the nespresso in the room and the fridge (which is rare in a fancier hotel- as a business traveler I appreciate having a place to put my yogurt or protein shake). Wish the gym was larger- surprised it wasn't. Theres no free space to put a mat down without getting stepped on. Two down sides: the staff could not explain whether I was going to be charged the $40 Urban Experience Fee listed on their website or not- even after I showed her on check in their own website. Second, the window shades are all automatic... but incredibly glitchy. I had to get them serviced twice in 3 nights. Overall I'd come again in a heartbeat

Over all hotel to stay at in the area. Wasn't pleased with the room. The room was small and do not stay in room 217. Extremely loud throught the night and early morning. It sounded like bowling balls and weight lifting plates were being slammed on the ceiling of my room. Very comfortable bed and good pillows for once.

This hotel is incredible. The ambiance, staff, food, all impeccable. Our room faced a parking garage and the lights were bright and on all night. The curtains were sheer and the room was lite up all night, not giving us a good night rest. Blackout window covers are needed to give guest a better nights sleep. This would have made a significant difference in the collective experience.

I was in Long Beach for Warped Tour and choose this hotel because of how close it wss to the event. The property was recently renovated and you can definitely tell because everything was very clean and looked brand new. My only issue with the property was my a/c in my room wasn't working. I checked in on Friday and left for a few hours and before I left set the a/c to 66° and when I came back a few hours later the room was reading 76°. They were very helpful and got it fixed but with a recently renovated property there shouldn't have been an issue with this. Luckily the room had the old a/c panel because otherwise they couldn't have fixed it a timely manner.

I really enjoyed my stay at Fairmont Breakers, but had serious issues with being overcharged on my bill. Although I called Fairmont Breakers to rectify the matter, no changes were made and I was still charged for the items in the portfolio. It is a beautiful hotel, but be ready to be overcharged despite the $40 per day fee that is supposed to earn you a $40 daily food and beverage credit as well as the $60 spa credit. Double-check your bill before checkout.

We had ordered room service, and after waiting quite a long time, we still had not recieved our order so when we called for an update, they stated they had no record of our order. Initially we were upset but then Gregory made it right by comping us 2 drinks at the very lovely lobby bar so that was nice...They also made right a glitch in the system involving a breakfast that we included with booking that they had no record of. (The breakfast was very good by the way). So even though there were a couple of hiccups, they corrected them, demonstrating excellent care and customer service..Built in the 1920's,the hotel is beautiful, elegent and has an old hollywood era charm to it which remains in the vibe even though it has been updated with modern qualities. The bed was VERY comfortable, the shower was wonderful and the in room espresso tasted amazing! The location is fantastic and my husband and I are looking forward to returning..Next time we are in Long Beach, we will be booking here

The property was beautiful however the rooms were substandard. Hotel staff not five star had duplicate billing issues that went on multiple times for over one month. The manager never returned my call spent hours trying to resolve this with numerous phone calls. I expect more from you Fairmont Breakers. LB

Had an incredible stay at the Fairmont Long Beach! The hotel is in a perfect location — walking distance to the waterfront, great restaurants, and nightlife. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made us feel right at home from check-in to check-out. The rooftop bar was definitely a highlight — great drinks, good energy, and beautiful views of the city at night. We really only booked this property for it’s proximity to The Warped Tour. Room was very clean and quiet. Hotel is beautiful and stands out in downtown Long Beach for sure. If I had a reason to be in downtown Long Beach again overnight I would book a room at The Fairmont for sure.

The hotel is beautiful with lots of choices for food and beverages. Every detail is so nicely restored. The rooms are quite small though with bathroom doors that allow very little privacy. The food and beverages are very, very expensive. A 4 ounce pour of Chardonnay was $23.00! Overnight parking was an additional $50 per night. A coffee in the morning was $7.00. That seems excessive. The area around the hotel has a lot of homeless and is dirty and feels unsafe. We did have a wonderful dinner at L’Opera- walking distance but I felt a little unsure of the safety of walking. The Museum and lunch at Claire’s was a highlight. I would recommend a visit to the hotel for sure, but just know that the $300 room rate is just the tip of the iceberg. Staff was very nice.

The property and our room were beautiful! We really put the room service staff to work and they were great!! Only downside was the food and service at the restaurant on the first floor. We had driven all day so we had not changed our clothes. We can only assume the server did not think we could afford to be staying there, based on his treatment, when it is quite the contrary and my husband tips EXTREMELY well when he receives great service. He didn’t even get my husbands drink correct….TWICE! But, we would recommend Beakers and would stay there again in a heartbeat!!

Would come back but never spend a cent on F B Too many other options in the area , current pricing was not inline with product value. A 25$ martini and 36$ for 2ggs toast and bacon is over the top. You do not need to be Denny's but lets get real.

Fairmont breakers exceeded my expectations. Staff was amazing, rooms were clean, amenities fantastic. Pool was great and not too crowded. Ready to walk to many places. My only qualm was that the food &drinks were incredibly overpriced. Thank God for the $40/a day food/ beverage credit. I would save yourselves tons on food/ drink and just bring your own to your room or eat out.
