Location was great. As for the hotel itself, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly and we had very hot days, besides that there was only extremely hot water in the shower…not cold (which is ironic since it’s summer and the air conditioner wasn’t working I expected to have a cold shower but it was burning hot). Also the wifi signal was horrible at our room. At least we had a clean bathroom and room. But yeah, facilities weren’t that good.

Frukost utbjudet var begränsad och sista timmen fanns nästan inget kvar. Vi fick ett rum på femte våningen och det finns inte hiss, bra att tänka på det speciellt om man har stora väskor, trapphuset är smalt! Vi hamnade i en nödsituation och personalen i receptionen hade svårt att kommunicera med räddningstjänsten.

The AC did not work, the room size was dramatically smaller than the pictures, the walls are paper thin. You hear everything from the alley and even people talking from the rooms next door. You could hear the toilets flush from the floors above you and an odd ticking coming from the wall. This was a horrible hotel.

excellent location right by Rialto bridge and steps away from water taxi. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good and promptly served. You must be able to walk up stairs. Other than that I recommend

Sin embargo, es decir como en el sexto piso, sin ascensor. Es importante tener presente esto si van con equipaje grande.

Firstly the service was really friendly, some nice people at reception. The location is very convenient, super central and hidden down a side street so a bit quieter. The hotel corridors feel very outside inside, and you're certainly setting yourself up for a "where did I book" experience for a bit. Once arriving in the room the rooms are clean and tidy, however my bathroom was quite ropey, needs some repairs such as repairing the shower head holder, the door framing, the bath tub (about 1/2 size bath) had lots of damage over the years. It felt a bit like a hostel bathroom. The bed for me was near rock solid, and this was a superior room, I wonder what the standard rooms are like.

Dirty room, toenail clippings, crumbs and dust around the bed area (visible without looking hard), rubbish under bed, clearly not cleaned. Dirty, wet towels on bed, when brought to the attention of staff was excused with bad weather that day and given more wet towels for replacement. Very dark, claustrophobic room. Excellent location, if you don’t mind a drab, dirty hotel for the money.

All though the street it is on - which is narrow and run down- the hotel and rooms are very nice. Clean and tidy and with good amenities. Very convenient for the water taxis at the Rialto bridge, which is very busy, but great for getting around. Lots of good food outlets only a few minutes away.

Brilliant location, we were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go including the train-station. Plenty of restaurants and landmarks nearby. The receptionist that checked us in wasn't helpful with an issue that we had, however the receptionist the next two days was great and couldn't help enough. The room was clean, but tired. There is a kettle, but no cups. Bathroom clean, but a flickering light. The safe and patio doors were faulty, but fixed later on the second day. When we noticed the doors wouldn't lock we requested to be moved to another room or 2 doubles until they were fixed, as the safe also not working and the terrace lead to an upstairs and ladders to downstairs, but told no. Rooms were available as we made another booking to check and got right up to the payment part! Overall we were happy with our stay and can see past the small things, however the worry of leaving our cases unsecured to get some food for the children who had been travelling all day outweighed the positives. With a little diy it would have been a perfect review, as the location itself would be enough warrant the cost. Without stating the obvious... another room until the faults were fixed would have probably made this review an excellent one!

First this place has the best location.Rialto bridge is basically right outside. There’s a tiny alleyway you could cut too and it takes you like 30 seconds and the aqua bus stops there too. It’s 8 minute walk to San Marcos Square if you’re not distracted by all the beautiful shops around. But be warned everything else is as the other review describes… the beds are uncomfortable, but firm and if you’re sleeping in a 3 person room do not expect much space, a moldy smell. There’s no elevator and lots of stairs. Furniture and bathroom is very outdated, but expected for Venice at this price point. They try to be as accommodating as possible when we first checked in our bathroom had a nonfunctioning toilet and they were able to switch us to another room, there is no screens on the windows and the AC was not on anymore because it was already end of October. They gave us a fan and we had to crack the window open because it was very stuffy. The streets are very loud as there is a restaurant right downstairs below our window. You have to use earplugs to sleep, also it’s in a very busy area so there’s gonna be noise. However, for the price, I would definitely stay here again for just how amazing the LOCATION!! We request a water kettle which was unavailable for the first night, but they found one for us for the second night and that was really nice. Clean towels, very basic toiletry amenities. Again, I can’t stress enough how it is conveniently located.

Phenomenal location, steps from Rialto. Junior Suite Room is small and basic, but the bunk beds allowed 4 grown people to sleep in comfort. Customer service was responsive. Bathroom is newly remodeled, but small with nowhere to set anything. We had a hanging shoe organizer and used it to hold our toiletries in the bathroom. Included a terrace that looked over the alleyway. AC worked well.

Rummet var bra. Otroligt skön säng och rummet hade allt man behövde. Det enda negativa i rummet var att det var relativt lyhört och ingen särskild utsikt (byggnad precis mittemot). Receptionen och trapphuset ser inte alls ut som på bilderna, men det gör däremot rummet. Fantastiskt läge även om hotellet ligger bakom en restaurang i en smal gränd.

Overall, a decent place to stay. The issue we had were the fact that it’s extremely noisy. There is a door to the hallway that separated the main area that was kept open for some reason so we could hear all the commotion in the main hallway until 3-4am. It wasn’t quiet until I shut the door the next night and was able to get some sleep. Also, the shower was barely big enough for an adult. The water had to be shut off to lather up because your head is under the shower head no matter how you stand in there. Aside from those two things, the room was decent overall. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. The location was great but difficult to find at first. Once you get the hang of Venice, it’s not too bad.

Overall we were happy with our stay and can see past the small things, however the worry of leaving our cases unsecured to get some food for the children who had been travelling all day outweighed the positives. With a little diy it would have been a perfect review, as the location itself would be enough warrant the cost. Without stating the obvious... another room until the faults were fixed would have probably made this review an excellent one!
Brilliant location, we were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go including the train-station. Plenty of restaurants and landmarks nearby. The receptionist that checked us in wasn't helpful with an issue that we had, however the receptionist the next two days was great and couldn't help enough. The room was clean, but tired. There is a kettle, but no cups. Bathroom clean, but a flickering light. The safe and patio doors were faulty, but fixed later on the second day. When we noticed the doors wouldn't lock we requested to be moved to another room or 2 doubles until they were fixed, as the safe also not working and the terrace lead to an upstairs and ladders to downstairs, but told no. Rooms were available as we made another booking to check and got right up to the payment part! Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel pga. dets beliggenhed i centrum. Et minut fra Rialto-broen og fem minutter fra Markuspladsen. Vi boede tre voksne på det røde superior værelse - lidt slidt, men rent. Der er hårtørrer, men medbring hår- og bodyshampoo 😉 Vi talte med tre forskellige personer i receptionen, der er døgnbemandet, og de talte alle tre godt engelsk og var virkelig servicemindede, venlige og imødekommende. Morgenmaden var ok, men der kunne godt skrues lidt op for afrydning og rengøring i morgenmadsrestauranten. Men vi var alle tre enige om, at vi gerne kommer igen. I can warmly recommend this hotel due to its location in the center. One minute from the Rialto Bridge and five minutes from Piazza san Marco. We stayed three adults in the red superior room - a bit worn, but clean. There is a hairdryer, but bring hair and body shampoo 😉 We spoke with three different people at the reception, which is staffed 24/7, and they all spoke good English and were really service-minded, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast was okay, but they could improve on clearing and cleaning in the breakfast restaurant. But we all agreed that we would love to come back.

BE Aware when you book with this property, there is never anyone at the reception, and you have yo wait ages for someone to come and talk to you, no lies , we had to go a knock on the door upstairs as advised by a person that works in the bard nearby. The other thing is that we’ve been giving wrong room that wasn’t even on their website it’s in different building completely, it was DISGUSTING, mould all over the bathroom and dead flies on the bath. Went again to ask to change the room, but guess what no one was there and had to wait until next day in the morning we finally changed the room but we had to wait for about an hour to talk to someone because the receptionist is never there. A nice guy from the hotel bar works there and had to phone him on WhatsApp to come over.

The location was perfect right next to rialto bridge, walkable to most places. There were many restaurants and supermarkets around. The hotel seemed it was renovated not long ago. Gives vintage vibe. It’s only stairs no lift that was not a problem. The staff were friendly the check in was great. We even got one of the rooms upgraded. When we go back to Venice we would stay there again.

Perfect location close to the Rialto bridge. We were met by a really lovely guy on reception who we unfortunately never got the name of. We were luckily given a room upgrade from the standard room we originally booked which was a really lovely surprise. The room was large, clean and comfortable, we couldn’t have asked for better. Would definitely stay again as the price was great for the location. A wee note is we found Google and Apple Maps were able to take us to the restaurant rather than the hotel when looking up the address when first arriving, just incase anyone can’t find it.

Front desk was average as far as friendliness goes. Room was fine. Shower was great. Outlets next to the bed which was great. Probably wouldn't stay here again though. Would choose somewhere with an elevator. Which of course was my fault for not checking. But within 1 minute of Rialto Bridge and less then 10 to St Mark's square so location was great.

All though the street it is on - which is narrow and run down- the hotel and rooms are very nice. Clean and tidy and with good amenities. Very convenient for the water taxis at the Rialto bridge, which is very busy, but great for getting around. Lots of good food outlets only a few minutes away.

This hotel is very dirty Their bathroom was new, however looked very badly because they don’t clean it properly Room decoration was old, I didn’t like it. The bed mattress was so hard I woke up in pain They don’t have elevator I guess you won’t find elevators in Venice buildings Breakfast was bad as well Nothing seemed to be made daily I wrote them to get information about transportation and never replied to me They don’t have a 24hrs front desk I left at 5 and none was there I had to leave a note to check out We stayed for 3 nights and it was about 1000 $, so it’s not cheap I don’t recommend you to stay there

Frukost utbjudet var begränsad och sista timmen fanns nästan inget kvar. Vi fick ett rum på femte våningen och det finns inte hiss, bra att tänka på det speciellt om man har stora väskor, trapphuset är smalt! Vi hamnade i en nödsituation och personalen i receptionen hade svårt att kommunicera med räddningstjänsten.

Einfache Unterkunft - wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer im 5. Stock - dies war ausreichend - bequemes Bett, Blick über die Dächer von Venedig, recht ruhig. Frühstück für 10 € in nicht so gemütlicher Atmosphöre aber auch ausreichen. Hotel ist in einer engen Gasse keine 5 min von der Rialto Brücke entfernt.

On the positive side, the hotel is in a fantastic central location, and the room made a good first impression upon entry—even if it is on the smaller side. The room rate was very reasonable, so to an extent, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, closer inspection revealed several maintenance issues that really let the property down. The room had broken electrical features and no working power sockets, the toilet seat was hanging off, and the sink plug was completely jammed shut (though as a DIYer, I managed to fix the sink myself). Breakfast was also disappointing. The decor in the breakfast room is very tired and looks neglected, with no sign of careful upkeep. Service was sluggish; we had to walk to reception just to ask someone to bring coffee, and basics like milk and juice were extremely slow to be replenished. While the location is hard to fault, the property needs a substantial amount of repair and maintenance work to bring it up to a reasonable standard. Unfortunately, based on our stay, I cannot recommend it in its current state
