Great location, easy walk to the main attractions at St Marks Square. Friendly helpful staff. Nice room. Adjoining bar/restaurant is very pleasant with good food and there is a nice sitting area upstairs outside the room. They will offer some tours--the sunset boat cruise is well worth it, however the "free" boat to Murano delivers you to a glass factory that has a great demo but then tries to sell you glass objects at 20X the cost at nearby shops.

A lovely hotel set in a quiet area of Venice, but only 30 minutes walk to San Marco. There are plenty of small local restaurants within 5 minutes of the hotel with seafood being the local speciality. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful in giving us some suggestions of where to eat, making bookings, and the best ways to travel round the city. It had a great small bar, also with excellent service. The breakfast was good with a wide choice. If you want a great hotel away from the crowds in the main tourist areas but close enough to walk to them easily, then I thoroughly recommend the Hotel ai Mori d'Oriente.

I came with a little dog to attend the premier. It was very nice that there were dog bed with a blanket and dog bowl placed in the room when we checked in. The front desk staff are very friendly and the bar is very comfortable with an outdoor table. The only thing is not so good is quite far away from St. Macro where I needed to go to attend the premier and met my friends.

Beautiful hotel right on the water. We also enjoyed the outdoor space with a bottle of Prosecco and snacks. The hotel is very quiet and the a/c was nice and cool. We enjoyed the neighborhood- not crowded compared to the Gran Canal. Great eating within minutes of the hotel. And a great bakery just over the bridge. My only complaint is that the shower door isn't sealed enough so water leaks onto the floor.

This will sound weirdly nit-picking, but the nozzle on the hand-shower was covered in black gunk -- mold? Too gross to use until I cleaned it with wipes and elbow grease. I didn't clean the hose, although it too had the same black gunk. I think it was mold because there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so that towels and mirrors didn't dry. We wedged a piece of luggage in the door to keep it propped open.

I was very surprised by this hotel. It's very old world. Very. The hotel is decorated in the old oriental style (pointed arches, etc.), staff wears three-piece suits, you leave the keys at the desk when you go out- I expected old and dingy. But this hotel is beautiful. Despite the style, everything is new, clean and updated. The beds were very comfortable, with high end linens and air conditioning was great. The rooms were a comfortable size, breakfast was excellent, and served in a beautiful dining room. Water pressure in the shower was incredible, and staff was very helpful and eager to assist. Oh! And it's the only hotel we found in Italy with an ice machine on the hallway! If I have anything negative to say, it's probably that it seems the hotel maybe takes a cut when they arrange transfers, because the numbers don't make sense. The hotel arranged a transfer for me and my family from the train station and charged €290 for the water taxi. Then arranged a transfer for us from the hotel to the much further airport, which required a water taxi AND a van ride, and they charged the same €290. They arranged a water taxi to St Marco, and charged us €100. But when we came back, the taxi guy only charged us €80. Who knows? I guess it's business, but it seemed like something was off- I didn't expect that. Maybe they don't. Anyway, we otherwise very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and I highly recommend. Maybe just arrange your own transportation.

This hotel is in a more quiet place, though very easy to get to where you want. The rooms are well appointed, the breakfast was delicious and got us out with a good start on the day. The management was very helpful with both hotel matters and where to visit.

The staff is excellent and very helpful. They gave us a map and informed us of how to get around, shopping and where to eat. The hotel is clean and had a romantic vibe which was perfect for Venice. They also offered luggage storage after we checked out of our room while we continued to explore the city until our train. Would def recommend.

Beautiful old property that is spotlessly clean with lovely staff. We really enjoyed being in a quiter part of the islands but so close to great bars, restaurants and an easy walk to everywhere. Would definitely return. Less than 5 mins walk from Madonna Dell Orto stop which is the closest to the airport water taxi, Alilaguna. Jusr 20.mins across the lagoon to/ from airporr.

This hotel was perfect for our week in Venice. Beds were comfy, the shower was wonderful; it is very quiet and clean; the staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a nice little bar for an aperitivo after a day of touring, and there a couple of small but nice restaurants not far down the way in either direction. Other restaurants are not too far away. Breakfast buffet is standard, but with lots of choices. The #1and 2 vaporetti are a 10 minute walk away with a couple (maybe 3?) bridges. There seems to be a water taxi stop in front of the hotel, too. Overall, a great experience.
