Only thing I like is the area, no service, not water on arrival, we asked for extra pillow and they said they don't have, person at front desk not very friendly or polite and clearly look overworked tired of tourist, we arrived early and asked to leave bag right next to entrance where at leat 10-15 travellers bag has been dumped, no proper storage of bag, huge risk of stolen or lost and no assurance at all from hotel, interior is too old dusty, smelly and not maintained very well, limited and not so so fresh mostly prepacked, breakfast, regretting paying extra for breakfast, tons of better and cheaper options outside hotel just from 2 min walking distance. Avoid this hotel as many better hotel I have seen in same area for similar price range.

The location is excellent 2 mins walk to San Marco. The air conditioning was excellent. Breakfast was a bit chaotic as only 1 area for all breakfast and 1 coffee machine. Limited choice too. The hotel is a maze you get written instructions on how to find your room! The bar was never open and staff not very approachable.

The property is very very close to Piazza San Marco., Small but comfortable rooms. Easy check in and check out, breakfast is offered for a price of $15 per person.. We chose to go out every morning and have a pastry and a cappuccino or something like that. We were disappointed that the bar that was advertised was closed as far as service goes. We ask the desk clerk one evening if we could get a drink at the bar and he’d had to call someone from another facility or another place at least to come. When they got there, they told us that the bar is in their words pretend. they did bring us wine from another facility, but we sat in the bar by ourselves. The next night we brought our own bottle of wine and we were reprimanded for that. Other than that, the facility is fine. It is definitely not luxury, but it met our needs and definitely is close to everything.

We need to walk to another building where our hotel shares floors with another hotel. The downstair main entrance belongs to another hotel. Inside, there is no fridge, no drinking water, and no kettle. It looks old, feels old. If you like an old building with antiques, it may be a good experience. Breakfast is okay.

We were given a room in a separate building, which had no elevator, making access less convenient. The Wi-Fi was not very strong. However, the staff were friendly and helpful. The service and breakfast were good. The cleanliness wasn’t perfect but still acceptable. Overall, it was neither a bad experience nor a great one — just okay.

Area is close to dining, shopping and to the main attractions. Staffs are nice and friendly. Room is old & dated, AC was not working good thing the weather is cool when we went. Breakfast did not have a lot of options.

Location was very convenient however we were in a separate building that had no proper entrance. It had the name Panada G on a door, with 2 rooms. You had to step out of the room into the foyer for it to be lit which was a bit scary. The toilet had no hooks or hand towel rail

Pictures of bedrooms true to advertisement. Bath very tall to enter but had a bidet. Caution: For elderly or with disability, the long halls and stairwell unmanageable. We went up elevator to floor 2 just to walk long hallway, down a set of stairs, long hall, then up stairs to level 2 again. Front desk staff rotated daily, never the same one and each more indifferent than the last. Clean, no smells. Convenient to all attractions.

The hotel was well located and the service was good. However, they put my adult son in a tiny room and said they couldn't change it until the next day. What was worse is that the room had bedbugs! Even after they moved him to another room, that one was also infested. His whole body was covered in bites. He was miserable. He had to go to the emergency room the moment he returned to the US and he has still not recovered. I would avoid this place even id the alternative was sleeping on the street.

Worst hotel experience ever! This place should not even be called a hotel. The power went out during our stay, the rooms smelled like mold and looked disgusting, and the toilet seat was broken. There were no toiletries provided, even though they promised to bring them—and of course, they never did. The air conditioning didn’t work, the sheets were filthy and smelled terrible, and to make it even worse, there were BEDBUGS in the bed. Absolutely unacceptable. Stay far away from this place.

The room was dirty and the shower was beyond disgusting. Black mold everywhere, broken shower head and the drain was clogged.

The hotel is a great location but unfortunately it is a place to be endured rather than enjoyed. The room was incredibly hot and the bathroom very smelly with no window to air it. I asked reception to turn down the heating but it didn't change. The last straw was a couple talking about bed bugs at reception. We found another 3 star hotel with friendly staff, a kettle in the room, and a great, fresh buffet breakfast. We couldn't get a refund for any of the nights but it was worth it.

Run!!! This hotel is INFESTED with bed bugs! They moved us 3 times, so we sampled 4 different rooms, and the first 3 had bed bugs! The 4th probably did too, but we weren't in it that long. The drapes and cloth walls is likely where the bedbugs live, and they come out after you go to sleep. I checked the beds and there wasnt any evidence of bedbugs, but, oh yes, they are there!!! And the rude pony tail reception guy will tell you its mosquitos. IT IS NOT MOSQUITOES! This place needs to be shut down. I was refunded, but not reimbursed for all the lost clothing and luggage, nor the loss of enjoyment on my vacation! The poor lady that worked overnight was practically in tears when she moved us at 3 am on the first night. The older gentleman manager who moved us for the second night was nice, but they HAVE TO KNOW they have a bedbug problem. There is no way they don’t know! They just hope you are long gone before you realize you got bitten and infested. Luckily (???) my husband reacts immediately after being bitten. I would not have known, because my bites didnt show up until we were checking out, and I would not have been able to put it together, had my husband not reacted so quickly. Please, do not stay at this hotel!

This property is old and NOT quaint. It needs a complete overhaul with new updated furnishings and take that old bed bug infested cloth lining off the wall. The bathroom smelled like a sewer even after housekeeping came upon request. I was giving a 1 star even before I was bitten by about a hundred bed bugs! I am allergic to bed bugs and therefore I swell up as soon as I am bitten. I reported it to mamagement and showed them the bed bug stsins on my sheets but they did nothing! Only good thing is thst the hotel is perfectly located for easy access to San Marco Square and other attractions.

One of us found a bedbug crawling on her hand one morning. Staff relocated us to nearby Hotel Diana, assuring us that there would be no bedbugs there. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed a blood stain on the pillow, and later noticed bite marks on my right arm. Luckily, neither we nor our clothes carried bedbugs or their eggs to our next destination. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, though the coffee tasted strange.

El hotel está muy viejo. El baño con filtración de agua en WC. También entrando a la habitación me cayó una gota de agua en la cabeza que venía del techo. Esto lo reporte al hotel. El personal amable y el hotel muy bien ubicado pero no me volvería a quedar aquí.

Room was cool. A little hard to reach toilet with stairs for senior, but cool to have two different rooms. Our room was facing a high traffic area and we heard loud people passing all hours of the night. Door could use soundproofing. Staff was great. Especially check-in staff. Bed was a bit too hard as well as pillow flat. Breakfast left much to be desired. You can leave bags, but, they don’t watch then. Just in a pile near the entrance. We had pickpockets try and rob us twice. I saw no reason why they wouldn’t just come in and steal bags given staff was behind a wall out of sight often. We decided to use luggage storage instead. Great area though.

Leaking toilet. Stuffy rooms with musty odor. Was so hot couldn’t sleep so opened windows and then was mosquitoes. Staff not helpful when asked on how to get to hotel from station. Was conveniently located close to San Marco piazza. Price was good.

The hotel is in close proximity to San Marco Square. We found the rooms very small for 2 adults. No space for our luggage. My partner had to put his luggage on top of the cabinet. No air conditioning so it got very hot in the room. We opened the windows to get some air. Bad move. We were attacked my mosquitoes. We killed around 3 and one stayed during our entire stay. Elevator very small and slow. Would not recommend for people with mobility difficulties.

Perfect location. Room (single person) small and bed narrow (70cm?) and pillows really hard. But the location is just so perfect!

The room had some issues. The shower head holder was broken and the shower door broke on my 2nd day. Getting from the front desk to the room was an adventure. A convoluted combination of goi g up an elevator, down halls, then down stairs, more halls then up stairs. I don’t mean for that to sound negative...I just think some people will want to keep that in mind when booking. For me it was part of the charm and i felt like I was staying in a very old building....again...that added to the charm. The location is fantastic. If (when) I go back this is the first place I will look at to stay.

All rooms smell smoke

Location was great. Washroom shower was very small needed updating. Also room facing the alleyway was very noisy. Continental breakfast was minimal only a croissant small bun with cold cuts and cereal.

Hotel location excellent , But Staff and Service are extremely horrible, especially : both elderly age reception desk staff gentlemen attitude and lady carless toward customer need. Seems they are tired to deal with tourists. They do not care our views about hotel experiences and believe still tourists will come no matter. Even check out time no thanks no good bye ! Being Kind Does Not Cost Nothing ! We came with family for Vacation for experience Venice is beautiful but hospitality experience disappointing ...... Highly NOT Recommended !!!!!!!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. When we arrived, I politely asked to see the room before check-in because I had read reviews mentioning bed bugs, and I have allergies. The young man at the front desk responded very rudely, saying, “If you have allergies, stay home! I’m not here to show rooms — this is what it is. If you don’t like it, go to the Hilton!” His attitude was completely unacceptable. All the staff were impolite, and the whole place smelled bad and felt damp — both the lobby and the room. The bathroom was unusable; when my husband took a shower, water spilled all over the floor since there was no curtain or glass divider, leaving the toilet area soaking wet. That probably explains the damp smell everywhere. Our triple room had a sofa bed that was broken, dirty, and so uncomfortable it couldn’t be used. Breakfast was terrible — very poor quality and little variety. Overall, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is small and ild but really cozy. Breakfast is simple but good. Location is just perfect, 200m away from St Marcos square. The people in the reception is very kind and helpful.

The man that greeted us when we checked in was so rude and should find a different job. Be aware that the air conditioning only stays on for 5 minutes and then turns off and you have to keep turning it on and sometimes it wouldn’t even turn on. Our room was so hot it was miserable. Our room and the halls stunk so bad. The beds are so old they still have springs in them.

We were met with an attitude from the beginning - We politely asked if the hotel could store our bags for us since we were not allowed to check in early. They replied we could just leave our bags in the lobby. We were confused since it was already so many bags in the lobby and the open common areas. I asked if there was any secure way to store them (a locked room, a tag system, etc). The receptionist in a derogatory manner told me that this was not a five-star hotel and I had to stay in one of those accommodations for that kind of service. During the evening we asked for some tips for our departure the next day - We asked which boat we had to take to the train station, and how we could pay for a ticket. However, he did not say anything or even look at us, even though it was clear he heard us and was not busy helping anyone else. He said something in Italian and after a while his colleague, a few meters away sitting on his chair, started asking us what we wanted. We politely tried to ask for help again and were basically met with sighs and eye rolls. In the end, we did not get the help we needed. I was so confused by the whole experience since I do not believe we did anything to offend them, and they met us with nothing more than disrespect. Besides this - The room was dirty, old, and gross. The third bed was an 80 cm wide pull-out sofa which was leaning and you could feel the springs poking you in the back. I would not stay here again even if someone paid me!!

Great location for walking everywhere! Hauling luggage over cobblestones and up and down stairs is not easy....but its Venice!! Staff was very nice...let us check in a bit early

The experience was terrible When we arrived the staff at the lobby was rude. I had a tablet in my bag and it was stolen. When I went to talk with the person at the lobby they told me that they don't have any responsibility. The safe didn't work in any of the rooms. We left the tablet inside our bag with a lock and thought it was stolen. Will never come again and if I were you plan to visit without belonging you appreciate it. S the guy in the lobby told me he didn't care about the Expedia review he even invited me to rate the experience with the lowest rate. Horrible experience

Me and my friend stayed here the people at the front desk were super rude and unhelpful. Out shower didn’t have a door or shower curtain, when we got in the room and sat on the bed the headboard fell off the wall. The refrigerator did not work and when we asked if there was anything to do about it the guy infront was rude and seemed to not want to help. Overall it was a very bad experience we didn’t even sleep well because the bed was springy and horrible would not recommend and would not be going back.

Antico Panada was well located. The hotel has air conditioning and breakfast options. We had a nice stay, the facilities are not the most modern, but good hotel nonetheless

Excellent location, quirky and memorable hotel, good service. After reading some of the reviews we were unsure what to expect but we had a pleasant surprise. The staff are professional and courteous, our room was spacious and very clean, cleaned on a daily basis and towels replaced. The breakfast was a typical Italian continental breakfast and contains juices, yogurts, meats and croissants, plenty of choice available. Lovely showers and pleasant facilities plus round the corner, less than a minutes walk from St Marks Square. We would recommend this hotel.

Excellent location. Breakfast service is very good but starts at 8:00- so cannot be for business use. Refrigerator seems not working as my milk went bad. I’m lucky to find out as the milk became like yogurt.

Sehr nettes und sauberes Hotel im Zentrum, wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Auch die Einrichtung der Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen. Schade, dass es keine besetzte Hotelbar gibt, wäre abends nett gewesen. Nur das Frühstück war nicht so gut, wenig Auswahl, kein Obst oder Gemüse.

We stayed 3 nights in a triple room in November. Room had dated furniture and decor however was clean. Room service was great and ensured room was cleaned everyday. Room was warm though and had no air condition and reception staff asked to leave windows open. This was during cooler months so not sure how it works during summer. Decent breakfast provided.
