Booked a twin bedded room, but on arrival given a double bed. No alternative offered so as two same sex friends, I had to spend an uncomfortable night on the floor until 2 single beds were provided the following day. This establishment pretends to be a hotel, but is merely a group of rooms up one and two steep flights of stairs above an unconnected restaurant below. There is no lift other than a disabled stairlift to the first floor. It is therefore almost impossible to carry any heavy luggage up or down the steep stairs. There are no facilities in the "hotel" other than a tiny breakfast room, which cannot accommodate staying guests at the same time. The picture of the dining room in the description is false, as are I suspect many of the positive reviews of this establishment?? The minibar described in the facilities is merely a fridge. Great location! right across from the water bus and lido station Front Desk and Staff were very friendly and helpful even though we checked in late they had the key waiting for us on the front desk, easily helped us finish check in the next morning. Sent directions for us to get in. Helped us with a map of Venice to get around. breakfast was very yummy, so attentive cute little patio Only thing was the shower was very small tight definitely one person shower. I will definitely stay again if I return to Venice.

The hotel is in the perfect location, from the window of your comfort room you can see the Venice Lagoon & St. Mark's Square, beautiful. The hotel has clean, nice rooms, not big, but perfect, have comfortable beds, the staff is nice, thanks. Nearby there is a Coop, there are many restaurants and the most important, water bus vaporetto stop is there exactly in front of the hotel. Sunset is breathtaking from this shore, sunrise is breathtaking from the other shore (beach).

The hotel has clean, nice rooms, not big, but perfect, have comfortable beds, the staff is nice, thanks. I have stayed many times at the Hotel Giardinetto and it has always been a fabulous experience and unbeatable value for money. The location is ideal, right next to the vaporetto stop for easy access into the city, and within a few minutes walk to Lido's beaches. The rooms are clean and well equipped - many with views across the lagoon towards the city, and the staff are always helpful.
I have stayed many times at the Hotel Giardinetto and it has always been a fabulous experience and unbeatable value for money. Excelente opción para alojarse en Lido, al lado de una de las estaciones principales del Vaporetto y con muy buenos enlaces para visitar Venecia y alrededores. El personal del hotel muy amable y atento, la cama cómoda, la habitación silenciosa y el desayuno muy correcto. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Kleine kamer, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Ontbijtbuffet was erg lekker, zo ook het eten in het restaurant. Ook de locatie is perfect als je komt voor een stedentrip naar Venetië. Met 10 minuten met de waterbus ben je in Venetië. Lido zelf biedt een hoop gezelligheid qua winkels, restaurants en strand. Wij raden dit hotel zeer aan!!

Really enjoyed our time there. Loved the smiles and service that the stafff gave. Made us cappucinnos which was good quality in the morning. It is in Lido (last ferry stop) so it's situated far from touristy areas, if you like that. The room like most Italian budget friendly stays are small but adequate. There seems to be a bit of slant on the flooring, a little uneven, but it did not affect our sleep.

Fabulous little gem of a hotel, will definitely come back on my next short-time visit to Lido. Kettle and mini-fridge in the room is a huge plus, and it was very quiet to sleep in despite central location right across the street from the main road. Plus the view (our room was 201) can't be beaten , especially for this budget-price range. Highly recommended. Grazie mille.

Great location! right across from the water bus and lido station Front Desk and Staff were very friendly and helpful even though we checked in late they had the key waiting for us on the front desk, easily helped us finish check in the next morning. Sent directions for us to get in. Helped us with a map of Venice to get around. breakfast was very yummy, so attentive cute little patio Only thing was the shower was very small tight definitely one person shower. I will definitely stay again if I return to Venice.

I have stayed many times at the Hotel Giardinetto and it has always been a fabulous experience and unbeatable value for money. The location is ideal, right next to the vaporetto stop for easy access into the city, and within a few minutes walk to Lido's beaches. The rooms are clean and well equipped - many with views across the lagoon towards the city, and the staff are always helpful.

Hotel situato di fronte alla fermata del vaporetto "Lido", molto comoda per raggiungere sia Piazza San Marco sia Burano e le altre isole. Struttura tenuta benissimo. Stanza molto piccola per due persone ma dotata di tutto il necessario per un gradevole soggiorno. Pulizia top. Cambio asciugamani quotidiano. Buona la colazione. Personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Booked a twin bedded room, but on arrival given a double bed. No alternative offered so as two same sex friends, I had to spend an uncomfortable night on the floor until 2 single beds were provided the following day. This establishment pretends to be a hotel, but is merely a group of rooms up one and two steep flights of stairs above an unconnected restaurant below. There is no lift other than a disabled stairlift to the first floor. It is therefore almost impossible to carry any heavy luggage up or down the steep stairs.
