The place is a little worn down! The staff were friendly, check in process easy! According to my husband the breakfast was good! Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance issues! By the looks of the slimy green water it hasn’t been open for a long while!!!! They should NOT advertise that they have a pool or lower their prices to accommodate! We probably will not stay here again!

At 105 degrees out, we looked forward to using the pool. There was no covering on the pool ladder and it was red hot; the steps on the ladder were so far apart that it was necessary to pull yourself up on the ladder or should I say impossible. Also, the mattress was horrible; lumpy; could feel springs and sheets were thread bare at edges.

I used to think that Best Westerns were a good hotel. Not so much in the USA. This is the 2nd one thats worse than a cheap motel in bad area. I had misgivings when I pulled in to the "hotel" and it was rught next to the freeway. Its also across from the train tracks where trains constantly run. Its supposed to be pet fruendly, but the dog run is full of garbage and broken glass. I was told its pretty dark and scary and noght so didnt even bother. But the icing on the cake was when at 3 am someone broke the window of my room open snd was half way through before my screams scared him off. I have travellef all over the world and never had an experience like this.

I needed a last-minute place to stop after driving 12 hours and I picked this hotel based on the good reviews. Other travelers raved about the cleanliness, safety, and location. When I arrived, I honestly wondered if I ended up at the wrong place. There were stray animals and random people wandering in the parking lot upon arrival in the late afternoon, which didn't make me feel safe. The room was not cleaned properly. There was a dirty washcloth hanging on the bathroom door, a sticky dark stain on the floor, and some hairs in the tub. I was too exhausted to deal with it, so I just went to bed. Luckily, the sheets were clean. In the middle of the night, I was awoken by the whole room shaking. I thought it might be a small earthquake, but it was a train going by. I got up and left first thing in the morning. The breakfast was meh, so I just grabbed a banana and a muffin on my way out & those were fine. I hate giving poor reviews. I stay at a lot of hotels because I travel a lot and I'm usually pretty forgiving, but this was definitely a disappointment.

Decent room for the price. Breakfast was nice with hot food. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Not the cleanest place, dirt and grunge around the edges. Right next to the train tracks so was noisy throughout the night, but we were super tired and kids slept through the noise.

The good side was the price and location. The breakfast was good too. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, potato, and little cereals and toast. The beds were comfortable. The ac worked good. Yes you will hear the train but it’s not that bad. The only bad thing was the cleanliness of the room. The floors were disgustingly dirty. We walked without socks and everyone got black black feet. So it’s better to sleep with shoes on. There was also food containers left from the previous family.

I stayed for one night. The property was worn out, and the room needed a deep cleaning. The last guest left a black sock on the chair that the cleaning crew didn’t find. The location is right off the interstate and the railroad tracks are right next to the property. It was extremely loud with rumbling trains and horns going by frequently. I left at 5am because I just couldn’t sleep.

A nice clean hotel in what looked to be a safe area. The grounds were clean and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was what we’ve all come to expect for hotel fare these days. A waffle maker, and a couple of hot dishes. When we were there the choices were scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes on one side and biscuits and gravy in the other. The breakfast area was large ,clean and well attended. Overall a nice stay

We enjoyed our stay last night. Overall it was a good experience. It would be beneficial to your hotel to have the front desk clerk be more warm and welcoming. She defintely gave off "I really dont want to be here" vibes, but we got what we needed to check in. Since the front desk clerk IS the face of your business, they really should be friendly and welcoming. The clerk at the desk this morning when i checked out was great! A great ambassador for your business! One more sugfesrion

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that no one cleaned our room and we were there three night nights. There was no sign in the room that said the room would not be serviced, and the morning after the second night, I asked the front desk about having our room cleaned. I was very surprised when we came home that evening from a long day and opened the door in the room was still not serviced. When I called the front desk, they said we had to get on the cleaning list for the day and we had to be on that list before 5 AM in the morning. I’ve just never heard anything like this before. Other than that, it was comfortable, the continental breakfast was very good, and the staff was great.

Jenny checked us in and she was fabulous. We felt bad she had to work on Christmas day, night shift, so we brought her back some food after we got through eating our dinner. She was very appreciative. What a sweet person and Best Western is lucky to have her.

The property is great and looks well-kept. Even though it is close to freeway, it's not noisy. The area around the property, down the street has seen better days. Although, the property does have plenty of lighting outside.

My overall stay was fine, but was uneasy about having a trailer park having the same entrance to the property. The same concern was shared by another person staying at this hotel. Nothing happened but I did feel uneasy.

The staff, room and close area around the motel was average. There is a train across the street that runs a lot, they do provide ear plugs. I did not feel safe walking to dining options and a lot of traffic. There are a lot of un-homed people in the area, sleeping on sidewalks and walking around. Also many stray cats.

Check in was easy and quick. Lovely room and very comfortable with the exception of the deadbolt on the door not working, The shower would have been excellent except for the flow restrictor making it difficult to rinse my hair and body. Breakfast was bloody AWESOME! I haven't had a free motel/hotel breakfast this good in a very long time. This alone would keep me coming back.

We stayed here twice with traveling! There are extra touches in the room which makes it stand out from other similar properties. I liked the free earplugs, cute towel animals ( think cruise ship)and complimentary toiletries. The breakfast was the best we've eaten and the ladies staffing the room kept the food hot, stocked and the room spotless. The service here far exceeded other places we've stayed on Route 66/HW40

We were pleased with how pristine the rooms are. We also enjoyed the full breakfast that’s included. The staff was wonderful especially the two Maria’s who so professionally and personally attended all the guests at breakfast.
