We went for our wedding anniversary and it was amazing! The gal at the front desk upgraded our room for our anniversary. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. We loved the adult only spa grotto The food at watertable was AMAZING. worth every penny. The tomahawk steak was the best steak i've ever had. It came with two dipping sauces but it was so well seasoned that you dont need them!

Amazing amenities with beach access and large pool, accommodating staff and walkable shops/restaurants and live music. When staying would recommend a bonfire on the beach, lounging at the pool (snacks and drinks delivered to your lounge chair) and Tuesday night market on Main Street. Also loved the conscience of the onsite grocery, s’mores/wood, and beach chairs/umbrellas. Parking is expensive at $60 a day, however the valet staff are friendly and the underground parking brings price of mind. I’d recommend flying in to one of the closer airports and skipping a rental car, no need for a car with how walkable the community is.

Someone threw up in pool and lazy staff did not want to clear out pool. Saying it was lotion. There may be many sick kids and adults in future. I witnessed the staff refusing to handle the situation properly. Disgusting.

Loved the separation of the buildings, as it was not "far" but still felt like the rooms were quet and had their own space. Lots of pool, hot tub optikns, from adults to infants. Heated pool was a welcome surprise. The accomodations were pretty nice, even for a family of four in one room. We had a room with a fire pit, which I recommend. I did find it a little wanting for a sit-down, indoor restaurant for breakfast, but the Starbucks coffee and breakfast sandwiches were a good alternative, and breakfast by the plaza firepits was very pleasant. Thank you for a very restful getaway.

Pros: Two pools, close to the beach, restaurants inside the hotel, hot tubs, well equipped gym, nice property. Cons: No self parking on property, only self parking is across the street at the beach & it’s $20/night and you can’t get in after 9pm. So if you leave at 8:30pm and try to come back to beach parking at 9:15pm they won’t let you in… -$56 extra for breakfast, cmon guys the amount of $ it is to stay here that should be free! -Valet is $60/night and you can leave whenever… a little pricey if you ask me.

Great property if you have little ones. They have a dedicated kids pool with mini water slides. Kids did not want to leave the pool at all. The main pool felt crowded, but kids area which is in a different part of the property did not.

Very nice location, bridge across the road into the umbrella/chair/towel pickup and into the amazing beach. Nice restaurants at property, convenience stores. Cleaningness is not good, drapes were literally dirty, and I think room service used our washroom and didn’t bother to clean the seat … Overall positive aside cleaningness, given the pricepoint - not acceptable IMO

I stayed for two nights for a birthday celebration. I stepped on soggy carpet as there was water leaking into my room. I called and came back to my room to a fan but no explanation. Once dried I could see a brown tinge, I talked with the bell desk, front desk, engineer and maintenance all had different opinions. Maintenance came in and determined it was dirt from the AC pan and overflow and offered to clean it. Not one time was I offered to move rooms. My last day a friend came in and said she could smell an odor of wetness, I could not smell because my sinuses were so inflamed. Unfortunate incident that I feel didn't get taken care of correctly, otherwise the property was very nice but I will not pay to stay again.

For the price and location I expected things to be a little cleaner. On my floor the plants had been disturbed and dirt was all over the table and floor for the entire time I was there. There were small imperfections in the room as well. Overall tho this was a great place to stay. Location was great and staff was helpful and mostly friendly

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with direct access via the hotel’s own bridge across the Pacific Coast Highway. The grounds are beautifully kept and give a real resort feel. The onsite Starbucks with fresh fruit and pastries made for an easy and tasty breakfast each day. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large TV that let us cast and review our daily photos — a nice touch. Some areas could be improved, particularly the bathroom, which felt a bit dated. The shower was on the weaker side, and the half-tub design didn’t really suit the size of the room. A walk-in shower and double sinks would have been better. The sliding doors to the balcony also stuck from time to time, which made them difficult to open and close. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful, though our check-in felt less welcoming than expected. The location is also great for exploring — about a 15-minute walk to downtown Huntington Beach with its restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The coastal walk into town was a real highlight. Overall, a very good resort with an excellent location and plenty of amenities. A few updates would make it even better.

This is a wonderful hotel with great amenities. I especially loved being able to use the gym every day. My only complaint was the room they gave us was right on the busy road and we were unable to use the balcony to enjoy the beach view due to the constant noise and traffic. Also, a small inconvenience was the fact that you must use a bellhop for your luggage and very little parking options.

BEAUTIFUL! What a wonderful stay! Everything was available at this hotel, you never even needed to leave. The room was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful balcony. We even had an ocean view despite having a “resort view” room. Nothing but good things to say!

Great ocean view room. Beach/wet smells though. Stayed during Santa Ana winds rattled room door and slider throughout the night. Complimentary reusable water bottles in fridge were hard to open. I was not able to use. Staff was great and did their best to remedy my issues.

Absolutely beautiful and luxurious hotel! The property is gorgeous with numerous large pools, hot tubs and places to relax. Evening fire pits, perfect for making s’mores. Kits are available for purchase at the hotel stores. Great dining options including pool service. Our room was beautiful and super spacious. Incredibly comfortable beds. Loved the balcony and amazing ocean views. Outstanding staff and service. Didn’t want to leave!

Amazing! Everyone was incredibly friendly and professional. Smiles everywhere from Beau and the valet crew, Taylor and the front desk team, team members at Petes and Watertable, the grocery store, the pool attendants, the cleaning team, food service team, and everyone else! My two young girls and I had the best stay ever!!!

We stay every summer at this location. Love the convenience of the bridge to the beach. Umbrella/chair set up at the beach also great. The Sunset Market is the only place on the property that is below par. Not enough employees working in morning rush for coffee and pastries. Jasmin is very rude to customers and looks like she couldn’t care less about her job there.

This is a beautiful hotel but very unhappy with enforcement of rules and security around the pool areas. This is family friendly and busy hotel but was suppose to have an adults only spa area - there were kids in the spa area my entire stay and no staff enforcing the rules around the adults only area. For the amount I paid for this I would have rather booked a smaller hotel.

Loved the location, pool and food options on site. Had asked valet upon arrival if there was self parking option and told no. Then at checkout told $49 night for valet. When noted the price was high with no self park option, front desk said there is self parking for $30 a night. So valet lied. Front desk did discount $20, however would have been much cheaper to self park!

The hotel was basic and especially the customer service experience . Everyone was indifferent for the customers , just doing their job typically . The blond lady at the Buffett restaurant at the door was really impolite and rude . We were waiting at the restaurant in order to have breakfast for more than a half hour while the restaurant was almost empty . Lack of customer experience and indifferent staff ! One day that should realize that a hotel is not just a room and a pool but rather a customer experience . This particular hotel is in that part below zero . Also the price is high for the level of service and for an outdated and old fashioned hotel as what . The room was 90ties same as pools . Also the fact that we had to pay a vallet for parking for 60$ while paying 600$ per night in an average room and does not have a free parking is just a joke. Finally no toiletries and amenities such as slippers etc - unacceptable for a five star hotel

I normally stay next door at the Hilton, a much better property. I tried the Hyatt and the check in clerk was not very friendly, the valet was short staffed. From the moment I got on property it was not the best experience. Valet was a mess, short staffed. Then the check in clerk was not so friendly, young man, not very professional. I will stay next door at the Hilton from now on. Hilton has a lower valet cost, and Hilton's pet fee is $75 less per stay. Before you check in to this Hyatt, check out the Hilton next door, you will be much happier.

Our first visit.Appreciate how friendly and courteous the staff was from the valets, to Niko at the front desk, even the bell hops. Great service from Porsche at Pete’s Sunset Grill. Looking forward to a future visit.

We were pleasantly surprised. It is definitely a resort. Everything you need is right there. The private access to the beach was unexpected, but appreciated. They have complimentary chairs, umbrellas and equipment to enjoy a day at the beach. Bikes are available to cruise down the boardwalk. It’s all included and easy. Very family friendly. The only downside is that you can hear traffic from the pacific coat highway all day and night. As long as you know that it shouldn’t ruin the experience at all.

Hotel is nice enough, but right next to the PCH which makes it noisy. The rooms are ok but showers lack pressure and modernisation. Service was hit and miss, breakfast buffet was poor, especially for the price and valet parking is $60 per night no matter how long you stay which I think is poor

The property was very clean and tidy. Staff gracious and helpful Some noisy renovations were occurring in rooms nearby which although did not start till later in the morning preventing us sleeping in as long as planned. (the banging travels through the walls) Unfortunately it was not advertised that in the off season most restaurants were closed and there was only one eating option. It had a limited menu and was quite noisy. After one visit we opted to walk the 15 min into town for meals. Very disappointing for an expensive/up market property. I feel a warning of available facilities on booking woudl have been appropriate

So excited I stumbled upon this resort when searching for a hotel. We arrived around 12:30pm and our room was already ready. Our room was huge and the ground are very well kept. This resort is as nice as all-inclusive resorts I've stayed at in Costa Rica. Several restaurants onsite, as well as a Starbucks. We ate lunch at Shor, which is down at the beach. It was good food and great views and easy to walk to. We ate dinner at Pete's. Bartender was great, as well as the food. We also enjoyed the pool area and they offer drinks and food there as well, You can get a drink in a fresh coconut. I will definatley be back to this resort!

Everything was stunning. The property was so well taken care of. The staff was super attentive and kind. The restaurants were all amazing. Couldn’t recommend it enough!! We were shocked at how big and beautiful the resort was and had anything we needed right there. Can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is overall nice, but I can’t understand why breakfast isn’t included in the price per night. Charging $38 per person for breakfast seems a bit overpriced for the limited variety offered. We’ve been to a lot of places all over the world where you get a good breakfast included.

Everything but the kids meal portions were amazing! I travel a lot with my kids and the portion sizes for kids was the worst I’ve seen. Just order your child an adult size, even for my 2 year old he was still so hungry after each kid meal. I had to order him 2 servings. But other than that property is beautiful and staff is really great.

It was nice and close to the beach. Room was nice but needs a little TLC. I wish there were more dining options. Like quick bite to eat along the lines of a sandwich shop or bagel place. Don’t want a full sit down meal for lunch. Gym was nice, staff was awesome.
