Excellent waterfront location across from the USS Midway Museum, the Maritime Museum, lots of great restaurants a short walk from Seaport Village and the Kansas City BBQ(Aka, the Top Gun bar). Walkable to train station and the San Diego Padres stadium as well as the San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp Quarter and Old Town and close to all of the cruises and trolley tours including those to Coronado Island. They have a great pool and fitness center as well!

Hotel is in a great location right near airport and trolley. Has an airport shuttle, pool, 3 restaurants on site and a few access the street. Best of all the staff and management are really friendly and professional.

Great location, not too far to BUS (992 running to airport and MTS Trolleys, Great nearby park and waterfront. Decor a clean but dated. Hotel shop was great for snacks and drinks etc. 3 Restaurants next to hotel - Hazlewood Cafe was great for breakfasts opening at 06:00am and again plenty of choice. Free 30min shuttle service from Hotel to Airport.

The location of this hotel is amazing. However, the hotel is old and dated. It was more expensive than the most recent hotels I have stayed in, yet the quality of the room was less. The Claim Jumper was nice. Parking is expensive. The pool is small and one for three buildings.

First of all, fantastic location. Across the street from the water, another restaurants all around. 5 minute walk to the USS Midway museum. If you like to walk, this is an awesome location. We walked to the Gaslamp, Little Italy, Petco Park, and the convention center. An Uber ride to almost anywhere in town is under $20. It is a full service hotel with three towers. They've got three restaurants, a gym, and pool. Free shuttle to and from the airport (please tip). We've stayed there probably four times and are going to be back in a few months. Love it.

Great location. Shuttle arrived to pick us up at the airport just as we got to the curb, and we were the only two passengers. Hotel is nice. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were just OK. Similar to a motel in that regard. The breakfast at the Claim Jumper is excellent and no more expensive than anywhere else downtown. Staff was always smiling and friendly. Check in and Check out both quick.

Price and location were great! Even though they didn’t have room service, it did not matter when amazing restaurants were minutes away. It would be a waste to stay inside to eat when the views and patio dining was there. The ONLY complaint from our kids was there wasn’t a jacuzzi at the pool.

I'll try to keep this brief as there is a long list of reasons not to stay here. I checked in at 5pm and my room wasn't ready. I was told they would upgrade me to an ocean view but in purposely didnt book a view roo because I didn't want to hear street noise. They finally found me a room. Every room has a balcony and there is no divider in between each balcony. You can literally reach out and touch your neighbor. You're not allowed to smoke but people are smoking weed in the halls, their rooms, and of course the balconies. There is mold in the bathroom and our drawers were broken. Doors are slamming in the hallway all day and night. The pool was dirty. I never saw it but my kid that has told me it was. When a 12 year old says something's dirty that means it's really dirty.

Old property that is way overdue for a remodel. We got it mainly for the shuttle but the room was dirty. They switched us to another immediately with no problem. The bed was comfy though and it’s just basic. It wasn’t horrible but i definitely would have gone with other options if I wasn’t with my family. This is close to the airport and not smack in the middle of DT so the location is perfect. They do AM yoga by the pool. Oh and the free coffee is kinda a miss but it’s good that the cart is there. I’m very picky. It was decent but I wouldn’t stay again based on the conditions. Staff was great though!

I booked a premium Bayside room. I was not expecting luxury but was, however, expecting a clean, well-maintained room. That was unfortunately not my experience. The exterior of the hotel looks dated (like something from the 70s that has not been refreshed). The picture of the outside building on Expedia is not representative of the actual appearance. The lobby is fine but the hallway leading to my room was dark and depressing. The room was spacious but was not clean and not well maintained. There were cobwebs in one of the upper corners of the bathroom. There was also an empty bag of Doritos in one of drawers of the main dresser where I intended to store my clothing. One of the the closet doors was terribly misaligned and you could not even close it (the hinges can be adjusted with a screwdriver but no one bothered to do so). The grout near the bathtub looked like a bad DIY job. There was also brown caulking around the bathroom mirrors that was also poorly applied. The wallpaper in the washroom was also starting to peel off in 2-3 locations. There were dents in the doors that had been repainted. All in all, the room looked old and although it had been maintained, the quality of the work was poor in terms of aesthetics. The soundproofing for the patio doors was non-existent. I could clearly hear the occasional plane, car traffic and the neighbors when they were on their balcony. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the location was convenient.

Stayed here for the Big Bay Boom. Our King Bay view room in the first tower on the 4th floor had amazing views. It was a little loud being street-side in an older building, but it made for great people watching from the balcony.

Clean and nice bay view room. Great location- we walked all along the water. It is directly across from the cruise ship docks so very convenient. Great coffee place right across the street. Quiet room, comfy bed.

The location was the best. Shopping, restaurants, bars, ferry station, etc… all within walking distance. It is very noisy though. Street traffic all night long with honking, sirens, etc… we also stayed when there was a music festival 2 blocks down. It was so loud all day and until midnight Friday and Saturday. It’s not the hotel’s fault of course but, we didn’t get great sleep here. The pool area was fantastic and relaxing. Very clean and not crowded. There’s a cute little bodega right next door that is a deli as well. Hazelwoods. They have everything you need and as a guest of the hotel, you get 10% off everything there! We went every day for coffee and things for the room. We’d stay again for the location and the friendliness of the staff.

We had some challenges on our first night due a/c not working and changed rooms to a smaller room that had been previously been occupied with a pet which really bothered my allergies. We had a really bad first night but upon speaking with manager he said that he will take care of it and move us to another room of his choosing. We spent the next 3 nights in a much better room. This really made a huge difference in our trip and showed that this hotel takes care of their customers.

Our room was ready when we arrived. Paying for early check in is wonderful. Front desk lady(i cant remember her name) was great, she answered our questions and let us know where things were. Having a bayside view is fabulous daytime or night time. We will continue to stay here when we are in San Diego

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. The only thing that I did t care for was the check in. Not a lot of staff on hand to expedite check in. The were only 2 people at the desk, and the hotel was having some sort of conference and the lines were long.

Hotel is in a great location. Check in was a bit long, Took more than 20 minutes with only 3 guest ahead of us. When the line became 8 deep, finally called another associate out to help. Room was clean, but tack strip going into bathroom was worn and I stepped on it with my bare feet. Lucky it didn’t puncture the skin. Neighbors on balcony smoking and loud, late in the evening and very early in the morning. Could not enjoy even opening the door for some fresh air. The price of parking is a bit ridiculous. Check out was easy. Hotel lobby was clean and always saw someone with a broom or mop tending to it.

The staff was not helpful when I checked in. They gave me a key to a room that already had another guest staying in, when we got another room, the staff wasn’t apologetic at all. The room we did get was dirty, smelled bad, had mold, and made me feel unsafe.

We stayed over the night before our cruise. The hotel was directly across the street from the cruise terminal and we only had to walk across to board the ship. Very convenient and beautiful view. Plenty of food choices nearby. It was fantastic!

We like the location and ability to walk to surrounding areas of interest, Little Italy, Seaport Village. The balconies add to the fun, being able to sit outside and have coffee or read or watch the sun set. Beautiful views!

Nice quiet property, allowed us to check in early for a few which was convenient. Facilities and grounds are a bit dated but kept up well and clean. Staff was all lovely. The location was beautiful and convenient. There were dining options right across the street as well as a lovely park on city grounds. Easily walkable to little Italy and the sea wall/piers. Overall a great stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Sadly, the double beds were fulls and were way too small for us. But we enjoyed the view of the harbor and mostly hung out there. We went to Claim Jumpers attached to the hotel and the service was very slow and drinks were watered down.

The rooms are okay. The property was clean. Great breakfast at the Claim Jumper. Walkable to Little Italy and the station to Gaslamp. Easy walk along the boardwalk to Gaslamp if you want to get your steps in.

Overall it was a great stay. Some staff were super friendly others not that helpful or friendly. The view from our room in tower 3 was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Room was smaller than expected and a bit dusty. Shower had spectacular power which was wonderful. Didn’t like all the homeless people hanging around the hotel. Felt a little unsafe. Obviously not the hotels fault for that. We ate at the deli and Claim jumpers. Food was not that good. The hotel pool was cloudy so we didn’t use it. Overall it is a perfect place to stay if you want an incredible view of the bay.

Great staff. Super convenient location near trolley and Amtrak, waterfront, and Little Italy. Gym was a bit cramped, but it was full of strength training machines, which I loved. Room was clean. The hotel has a very dated and somewhat dark style. Hotel restaurants are mediocre, but there are plenty of other much better dining options nearby, so that wasn't an issue.
