It’s okay, it was fine for a one night stay. There is a in and out restaurant across the street and it’s very close to a Starbucks.

The so called included breakfast was a joke. No dining area and a counter with hot water, coffee, granola bar and instant oatmeal. Disgraceful especially because of the cost of the room! I have stayed at much less expensive hotels that provided more food. In the descriptions about breakfast Hotels.com should specify/clarify what it consists of.

Worst Hotel Experience Ever — Avoid Staying in Santa Barbara I recently stayed at this motel, and it was hands down one of the absolute worst hotel experiences I have ever had. First of all, the basic amenities were practically non-existent. The room provided only a basic shampoo—no conditioner, no lotion, and not even a hairdryer. For a hotel room, these are standard items you expect anywhere, but here you get almost nothing. The physical condition of the room was just as disappointing. The place was dirty throughout, and the soundproofing was terrible. The ceiling and floor structure felt extremely flimsy. Every single step from the room above sounded like a massive thud, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. I kept waking up throughout the night because of the constant noise overhead. To make matters worse, around 11:00 AM on the day of my stay, someone slipped a piece of paper under my door announcing that the water would be shut off from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for sudden drainage work. While this didn't affect me personally since I was heading out anyway, giving guests such short notice for a major utility shutoff is completely unprofessional. I felt terrible for anyone who actually needed to stay in their room during those hours. Paying $230 a night for a place this dirty, noisy, and lacking basic necessities feels like a complete rip-off. The price is outrageously high for what is delivered.

An older female, a new employee was very helpful. She went above and beyond to help us. For her sake, I resist giving this location a failing grade for hospitality. The premises were relatively clean. Don't expect the facility to clean your room, clean the bathroom or change the bedding during your stay here (It's an Extended Stay), Appropriate Santa Barbara hotel only if you're paying $100/night or less!
