It was a nice hotel with a convenient safe location. Parking was a convenient 3 small block walk with a prearranged discount agreement with the hotel. It has 24 hour security, locked lobby front door with key card access. Full breakfast was pretty good. Beds were comfortable with black out curtains that helped.

Overall, our stay was great. Positives: 20-30 minutes walking distance from several historical sites, good size refrigerator, gym, cleanliness, breakfast, complimentary items and snacks, Internet, friendly staff, and room prices are very competitive. Improves: no microwave in our room, but one in the common area, no 24/7 gym, no parking on site, but are giving a major discount to use a nearby enclosed parking garage, about a 7 minute walk.

Location is great. Easy to walk. Restaurants nearby at 5-7 min walk. Parking was closed by. Bed was comfortable. Lacking tremendously isolation in windows, especially in the bathroom it was freezing cold (were there Dec 19-23, 2024) near the toilet. Sounds from the street are loud and clear in the room (we always play white noise during the night, so it did not bother us). A huge gap surrounding the door of the room made it very difficult at night to sleep in the dark. It was illuminated by the outside corridor lighting. The mini fridge in the room was too cold and our cans of coke froze in it. No housekeeping for stays of 4 nights or less. They only pickup trash and change the towels daily. They did not make the bed… Free breakfast was good. Bagel, toasts, waffle batter, eggs and sausage, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal. Anyone can find what makes them happy.

Parking was at a paid lot 2 blocks away. They gave a discount on the parking fee. No bell staff and the property requires you to drag your luggage up a short flight of stairs to get to the elevators. Huge hassle when you have a lot of luggage. Rooms were small and outdated. Location convenient however.

The staff was amazing. They kept the handicap lift available since my mom and I couldn't go upstairs and everything about the building including entry was stairs. There was a doorbell on side to use lift. The only down fall which caused us to stay in the comfort of our room was like every hotel in Washington the older hotels had no parking and the garage they partnered with was three blocks four lights away from hotel. That hurt us walking so far so once parked we left car in garage and used other means of transportation. It was good they got a discounted $10 per day because going in and out you had to py the 10 each time you left and came back. otherwise the gargage if you didn't pay attendant and put in machine was $27 a day. We loved the location though if you are a walker places were about 22 minutew walks to eat or by car about a 8-10 minute drive.

Good value for money. The hotel has a gym and a laundry area available for guests, which was very convenient. The staff were super nice and welcoming. The location is close to major attractions but still quiet, making it easy to get around while getting a good night’s sleep. The only downside was that the shower pressure was quite low, and there were no exhaust fans in the bathroom. Overall, it was still a good stay. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel is old and poorly maintained, both in the rooms and in the common areas. The entrance is only by climbing a short flight of stairs, but with heavy luggage it is somewhat uncomfortable. It is incredible that they do not have a ramp or that the hotel staff helps the guest with their suitcases, but it is very well located.

Great value, the breakfast was very convenient and they had a good amount of options. Rooms are older but clean. The parking lot is a block away from the hotel so don’t try and carry your bags. Drop off and then go park.

Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The one downside is the parking garage u need to park in is about 3 blocks away but they do give u a ticket so its only $10 to park. Its walking distance to just about everything.

Bedbugs! I have horrible itchy bites appearing starting the evening after my stay :( The room was so worn down, with dirty curtains and dark brown carpet so you couldn’t tell whether it’s clean. The bathroom was tiny and looked clean enough, but there was a stench of body odor / rot emanating from the sink. Location is quiet but far from convention center. Staff was nice. I would not have stayed once I saw the room, but the whole area was sold out.

The room was small but that was expected. The bathroom was not the cleanest but it wasn't ok. The main problem was the mouse in our room. I had leftover pita bread from our lunch that the mouse ate. I took the mouse eaten food down to the desk to show them and tell them that there was mouse poop all over the room and bathroom. The mouse kept waking my husband up all night. They didn't even apologize or say anything about there being rodents in the room.

I get it - it’s a 2-star hotel but this place is disgusting. I found a roach in my room and could barely sleep due to the outside noise. The shower didn’t drain. Someone was getting arrested in the middle of the night right outside the hotel. Just awful.

The room was very poorly maintained, carpet dirty and furnishings extremely tattered and worn. The bathroom floor, shower stall and tub were hideous. I’ve never seen such disrepair in all my travels. In addition, there was a mouse in my room on my last night. I am extremely disappointed and appalled by these accommodations.

The hotel has very small rooms (less than 1.5’ between the bed and the wall on either side, a desk that couldn’t fit my laptop, a chest that had seen the war,…). The furniture was subpar and very dated, badly scuffed… Same goes for the elevators and the breakfast room, which is a windowless room in the basement. The breakfast food was mediocre at best, we ended up going out for breakfast, which was an unplanned extra expense. The only redeeming factor was the staff. They were very sweet, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable of the area and the city, really nice. That goes both for the front desk staff and the room cleaners. When leaving on the last day, I was solicited by a homeless person who was very persistent in the “lobby” of the hotel (the few square feet between the elevators and the front doors), which was a first for me.

- Wifi issues but finally worked on the 3rd day. - Double bed are the size of a king single, very uncomfortable for 2 people in a double bed. - Air conditioning in the room sounded like a V8 truck engine. - Full credits to the front desk staff, the young lady there is amazing and is an Asset to the company.

We stayed in room 205. Our check in person Robin was great. Our room was very small with 1 full size beds in my opinion. The room was on the second floor and you could hear the sirens and people talking by just walking by. The walls are very thin as you can hear the water being used. The staff were all polite. The dining area needs a really big update especially the carpet. The room was also outdated. The area was convenient to get access to the national mall area and memorials. Breakfast was just eggs, sausage, packed oatmeal, yogurt, waffles, bread and bagels each day. Coffee and OJ was good. The parking is located about 2 blocks so you need to leave your luggage and then park there. $10 dollars a day but with a discount added for your stay.

Daryl was extremely helful during check in. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good withmany choices. I dont remember the names of the ladies that checked me out, stored my luggage until much later after check out and helped me with directions,but they were also very helful and friendly.

Booked 5 rooms, the rooms on the 1st floor are really small. the other rooms on 3fl and 5fl were fine. the rooms are very dated no microwave in room but clean my dad is an exterminator he checked all the beds lol. I would have check out, but the location is perfect for museums. (parking 1.5 blocks away underground with security cheap$10.00, store 1 block up on the same side of hotel, and the staff was the crown jewel of this stay Robin, Nashara, Jasmine I forget the gentleman's name, but they all did everything possible to accommodate my large party. I would stay there again due to customer service. Breakfast room small, grabbed our food and went back to room waffles and coffee good, the rest of it 6/10. lemon water, coffee, and really good cookies in the lobby 10/10. please do a renovation and put microwaves in rooms and dont get rid of the staff they make the place shine.

The front desk is amazing! They answer all of your questions, make you feel so welcome, give suggestions of restaurants in the area, give directions of how to get on transportation, help you look up passes for museums and tours. They were so helpful.

The person working at the front desk during the time I checked in deserves a raise! It was pride weekend and there were many people going in and out, asking to use the bathroom, and she was so kind to everyone. Every staff I interacted with including the person working at the breakfast floor Sunday morning was kind and friendly. The bed was comfortable, the room / bathroom was clean. It is in a great location, middle of everything. Overall very impressed and had a pleasant stay and would recommend and stay here again!

The staff was absolutely amazing. All the people that we had interaction with were friendly and gave great advice on the surrounding area. I read some questionable reviews from back in Nov 2023 and experienced none of these. The manager and staff were awesome. Would stay here again. Close to everything in the DC area. 10 minutes to the white house on foot.

Everybody working in the hotel from check-in to check-out was really friendly and helpful. Location was perfect in relation to Convention center and terminus of Yellow line ( 5 min walking). Neighborhood was nice in the middle of historic district and 15 min walking to the White House and all other monuments.

We loved how walkable this location is! It was very reasonably priced and we were able to walk everywhere. We parked our car 2 blocks down in the parking garage and didn't need it until we left! It was very clean and well kept, we will absolutely be looking out for these hotels for our next stay!

Breakfast was plentiful. I didn’t like the eggs though. The staff there were excellent! Everyone was so kind including Robin, the manager. I was moved to a double room when asked. The beds were comfortable and it was close to the convention center. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay.

It was overall a good hotel, however, it was a bit overpriced. Breakfast was not restocked regularly. The service staff that came in gave new towels, but did not make the bed. The area wasn't in the greatest part of dc, but that's not the hotels fault

The rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean. The breakfast in the morning is among the worst I have encountered. If you don't show up as soon as breakfast opens, you only bread options are sliced bread and the odd bagel. Nothing else gets restocked. The eggs are awful and the sausage is greasy. Cereal or make your own waffles seem to be the safest.

Hotel is ok, has a good location to access the convention center and downtown area. The furniture is a little beat up, but the room is clean. Breakfast is more continental style, the only hot options were the same eggs and sausage patties for four days in a row. Orange juice reminded me Sunny Delight.
