Room felt sparklingly clean, Excellent room temperature control, -Very difficult to get water (especially after the adjoining restaurant closes for the night), -Very expensive parking ($45 per night!), -WiFi instructions were misprinted and WiFi was down for part of the stay. The property was in great condition. The check in staff and check out were awesome! I would stay there again in the future when I travel to DMV. The gym was the best ever for a hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. **** We had a center room in a corner, so there were connecting rooms on both sides. When we checked in the doors to both rooms on side of us were unlocked. Whcih mean they had access and could have hidden in the room, put cameras, etc..., so I felt our privacy and safety was compromised. The door next to the bathroom was wide open. This should never happen for many safety concerns. I made the front desk aware. ***** I would prefer to have the option to completely cover the windows. I like my room to have complete blackout curtains. Another privacy and security concern. I could look in other rooms if the lights were on in that room.

The highlight my short stay was a deep tissue massage at the spa located on the same floor as the gym. Karen, the massage therapist who did 60 minutes massage was also a healer and did an outstanding job! The restaurant located within the property is just okay. I had a dinner there due to convenience.

From the photos, this place looks nice but between the lack of a welcome entering the door, spotty interenet access, and limited 24-hour service, this was a poor experience overall. Upon my arrival, I entered the room, connected all devices to the internet, and within 3-5 minutes, the internet went out and was intermittent the rest of my stay. Checked the tv to ensure it was not an issue with my desvices and all I received was a grey screen that there was no internet connected to the television. They sent up engineering to support, and he did the best he could, but the lack of quality internet was the issue. When I contacted the front desk to voice my concern, she was not helpful and provided no alternative solutions for the issue. Not only that, the TV only provided local channels, and each app that was provided could only be used with your personal accounts. I took ill the last day in my stay, and contacted the 24-hour room service for tea...there was NO TEA available. There was something at every corner, the parking was $45 daily and a1-way. The process to get a pass was also antiquated and such an inconvenience. I originally stayed at the DuPont Circle Hotel and it was such an amazing experience, but it was booked the entire week for my stay. Glover Park proved to be closer in radius compared to others, and the website showed potential. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling for business or pleasure. It was not ideal.

Great hotel, excellent location in Georgetown. Bus stop nearby, #80 will take you to the White House in 25 minutes, from there nice walk to all the sightseeings. The hotel is clean, front desk is friendly and accommodating, bar downstairs has a great happy hour with drinks and food.

It was not explained that parking was 45$ per day and the parking garage is only for smaller sedans. The front desk staff did not communicate effectively to find the parking garage. Most hotels have toiletries and clothes bags which were non existent. Absolutely would not stay again for the price you pay to have to park and pay that much or park on the street miles away and risk your vehicle being towed

The room was super clean and smelled nice. The beds were comfortable. Room had a nice view of the street. Even the hallways were nice, well decorated, well lit and good smelling. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. The restaurant— Divino had good food. Great location. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely be staying here again.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. There were areas that needed a little attention, rusty door bottom, stain on the sink counter, but all an all it was nice. 3.5 out of 5. I would stay there again.

The hotel is nicely set in a beautiful older neighborhood close to good restaurants. The restaurant on site is very good and has recently changed. The desk staff is friendly. A couple of issues that should be addressed are that the key cards don’t work very well and lose their magnetism so I was constantly having to redo my card. I travel a lot so I use them regularly and I’m aware that phones can affect them. However, this was after every use. There’s chipped paint on the wood panel under the sink counter and there was mildew staining on the shower floor. It would be great if another towel bar or more hooks could be installed for towels. This seems to be a trend with all hotels where they make it hard to hang multiple towels.

This property has bedbugs. We stayed there for 3 nights and each morning my fiancé and I woke up with bites in which we initially thought were from mosquitoes until we saw the bed bugs around the pillows and seams of the beds on the last night

The hotel shares access with a restaurant; for some reason they blocked off the 4 meager parking pots (short term), so it was difficult to check in. The elevator has a weird smell; I found a roach in the bathroom in th emiddle of the night (they came and removed it), but it left me a bit weird. Problem for many hotels: why are sheets so shorts that cannot cover the mattress in its full length?

This hotel is sooooo nice. Its small but really clean, smells nice. The rooms are spacious. The beds are so comfortable. Premium bedding was my favorite part. Onsite restaurant. They offer flavored water in the lobby. And the area is perfect. Safe for walking. We walked 20 minutes to Silver restaurant for brunch. It was great. Very comfortable 2 nights. Will stay there again.

Hi! We enjoyed our stay at Glover Park! The room was surprisingly spacious with a beautiful view of the Washington Monument, the Capital, etc. Comfortable bed, clean, nice woman at the front desk. There's a restaurant with an outdoor covered patio, but we didn't try it. However, it seemed to be very popular as it was busy whenever we walked by. Easy eight-minute Uber to the Washington Harbour in Georgetown.

I’ve stayed here many times. The beds aren’t that comfortable. The TVs are old. The screens look like I’m watching a television from 1980. The restaurant staff is always indifferent and slow to a knowledge customers waiting to be seated. Room prices are high there isn’t much luxury. You’re paying for convenience of location Front desk shows little hospitality. Very perfunctory when checking in. These observations are the same no matter how many times I’ve stayed here. I come here because it’s close to where I need to be. Hotel offers no personal touch in the room to welcome guests.

We've got the 2 beds suite with the city view. City view was really nice - we've seen the Washington Monument and a church. I can't say that the room was very new, but it was clean, everything seems worked fine and we did not have any issues with our stay. I also had some communication with the staff and every time my questions have been answered and everything went out fine. Neighborhood is also very nice and safe. It is far from the city center, but it only costs <$15 to get there on Lyft or Uber. We really enjoyed our stay.

Dislikes: Paper thin walls - could hear people in the room LEFT of me having sex as if they were in my room; could hear profanity-laced conversation of people in the room to my RIGHT. When those activities started could clearly hear the TV programs they were watching over my own. Staff are not responsible for the wall thinness, but the hotel was pretty empty so they could have spaced us out more. Likes: hotel staff were friendly and helpful, but would rather pay double the price to stay at another hotel than stay here again.

The hotel was quite nice, however, the staff at the front desk, not so much. Whomever checked us in was wonderful; warm, friendly and personable. The lady who checked us out...would be an awesome front desk receptionist at the IRS or maybe an abortion clinic. She had the personality of a kidney stone, and was as pleasurable to talk to as passing one. We are sorry we inconvenience you with questions about a city we have never been to. We will not be staying there again if we ever return to D.C.

I arrived at 2:30 - earlier than the 4pm check-in. I was informed my room was not ready I continued to stop by the front desk for an update and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes; then another 30 minutes. I understand I was early in my arrival - but other guests arriving after me - were given a room - so why wasn’t I given one of those rooms? I voiced my disappointment to the staff who clearly couldn’t give me a valid response other than my room was being prepared. I was also exposed to two customers waiting endlessly for their Enterprise rental vehicles and who were displeased with their service as well. I won’t be staying here again.

My wife and I were excited to attend a wedding for friends in DC last weekend. When we arrived at the Glover Hotel, unfortunately a terrible storm began as we pulled in to check in. The front desk associate Jay, stopped everything and helped my wife bring her wedding outfit in the property so it wouldn’t get wet. Jay (she) made that challenge a success. After that, we checked in…and again Jay assisted us with a bad situation We upgraded our room to a city view with a sofa in the room. The sofa had very unsightly stains on a light brown covering. Although it didn’t seem wet or a fresh stain, it made us question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. I took a picture to the front desk and Jay moved us without a question. She profusely apologized and took ownership of the situation although it was obviously not her fault.Our new room was much more fresh and pleasing to the senses. Afterward Jay gave us local recommendations for a pharmacy and continued helping us with our stay. All in all, the property is a great location, somewhat aged in the rooms however Jay made our stay outstanding. As Service Industry executive, I love to recognize OUTSTANDING service and I hope you recognize her. She single handedly made us net promoters of your property. Without her, I’d have focused on the need for management to reinvest in upgrading the property.

Parking directions were not marked. My teen daughter went to desk to ask. They just said that I had to come in to check in first. Check in staff did not communicate parking instructions. There was another guest blocking driveway for 20 min. Then when we finally got to parking, no instructions to enter. I sent my daughter back in, because car was on a steep downgrade hill. I was afraid the car may roll. The garage door enter required a code to enter. This should have been mentioned! We took elevator up but There were also No instructions what room. We went back down to lobby desk staff stated “well it’s written on your card.” She never mentioned or pointed out a Small number barely noticeable on card. Tried to get breakfast downstairs the next day, but restaurant was busy with only two staff. It took 15 minutes just to get coffee. Noisy guests in lounge outside and the refrigerator making a noise all night. Unfortunately not a good experience at this hotel and we were hoping for a for a regular hotel for College visits. Overall poor!

We had a lovely stay at the Glover Park Hotel in Georgetown. While the building itself is older and the hotel isn’t modern or luxurious, it has a certain charm and character that makes it feel cozy and inviting. The location is fantastic — in a quiet part of Georgetown with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants, and great shopping. We found it very convenient to get around. The hotel was clean, well-kept, and a great value for the price. It’s definitely a solid 3-star stay — nothing fancy, but comfortable and reliable. The hotel was above average. It is older but renewed in many areas. Some of the doors showed wear. Convenient to shopping, transportation, dining. Restaurant was disappointing. I ordered a burger to go ($24) with only pickles. All we received was a plain burger patty-no bun or pickles. For breakfast another day we ordered soft boiled eggs that came back overcooked. Bagels were also burnt and had to be sent back. Overall, we really like everything but the restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay at Glover Park Hotel. The staff were nice and even allowed me to check in early. My main issue was that the restaurant’s kitchen closed down an hour before the restaurant did, but that information was not made available until I showed up for dinner. However the bartender was very nice and the service was great. Also, the walls are a little thin but nothing that could disturb my sleep. Overall, I recommend this property. Well priced and great location, with easy access to public transport.
