A hotel with character and friendly staff. Beds are comfy & the rooms are very large. Enjoyed staying there & plan on returning.

Honestly, for the difference in price compared to the Washington Hilton (that was right across the street and where my conference was taking place), I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't pick this place. Only downsides were slow wifi (just barely above 1 Mbps on average!), one of the two elevators out of order during my stay(yet never really waited long to catch it), and the restaurant/bar not functional one night (wife having a baby, I heard....that's more important!), and nasty road construction going on (not the hotel's fault), I really enjoyed my stay. Very quiet and nostalgic, and in a great location. I will be back if ever coming back to the area! Great value. Friendly staff!

The only downer is that you have to pay for breakfast when it should be free. But the room was nice and the staff were great. No issues and still gave 5 stars.
