Overall, it's a great hotel for the cost. The hot tub and pool need some major work. The hot tub is not hot, 85-90 degrees at best and has either eroding concrete in the bottom or someone has thrown small rocks in the bottom. The pool says heated but definitely isn’t.

Didn’t utilize the airport shuttle. Shuttle schedule starts at 6am. I wished they start earlier for early morning flights like mine. The only reason why I booked this hotel for the shuttle service. I ended up getting Uber. Didn’t get the free breakfast either because of my early morning flight.

Website says $12 for covered parking but they still charged for regular parking. The covered parking garage does not connect to the hotel, requiring you to walk around the facility to get in. They offer a breakfast buffet but want $50 a person for it. The room itself was great but the rest of the experience will prevent me from ever staying there again

okay so absolutely everything was great, like perfect for what we needed which was a clean place to stay for a night between trip and airport. I’m only taking off a single star because I saw a SINGULAR ROACH in the bathroom. Just the one roach the one time, on the towel on the edge of the tub and that was it. for me that isn’t a make or break instance. I was able to do laundry and check in early and late and everyone was absolutely wonderful.

Front desk was very rude. They called me and said I was supposed to check out and I told them my reservation was for a couple more days. She was very rude to me. I had to pull my email and read it to her and then she said oh ok. Room had little roaches in it and the laundry room was out of soap. I went to the front desk for soap since the machine took my money and they said they don’t carry extra soap and would have to walk to the gas station across the street.

The hotel staff is probably doing the best they can but the rooms are not that clean. They are all very outdated and the air conditioning barely works. I ended up with 3 different rooms in my first hour. I just settled with the last one because I was exhausted from the drive and moving around. The hotel staff did attempt to accommodate with the resources available which was changing into vacant rooms but I do see why the hotel had so many vacancies. Not worth the stay. HOWEVER, nice area!

The hotel was clean from the top to bottom The complete staff was the friendliness ever received in a long time.. They all had smiles and greeted you and made time to answer site questions and great surroundings suggestions Extra transportation was great too, and staff made arrangements also Onsite bar restaurant was super surprise and allowed to stay on site to eat all nights…..staff in restaurant could not have been any more polite and friendly Would stay here many times again and for any long stays

This Hotel, with ample parking, is just five minutes from Tampa Airport. It had all the amenities such a pool, workout room, convention facilities and WIFI. The food was good, though the atmosphere felt like typical airport dining. Sitting at the bar worked well due to friendly staff. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but the window treatments didn't block out light. The bathroom could use new caulking and paint around the baseboards and corners. The main issue was noise from the adjacent room, as the neighbor had a loud TV until 1am. Would I stay there again? Yes but may be ask for an end room.

Overall nice for a one or two night stay. Check in was simple and easy. Once we got to the room, the room temp was set on 60 but it definately was not 60 in the room. Cold air was coming out but the room never really got cool. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers so we wouldn’t get too hot at night.

Essentially, the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore (by TPA) was fine - it lived up to its star level on an efficient and no-frills basis. It did have hard floors, which we appreciated. But, otherwise the hotel was very basic in every way. Still, a good option for someone that just wants to grab some sleep before a flight the next morning. Probably the best thing about this hotel was the bed - nicely firm was the mattress (not a "squishy" mattress like some other hotels have).

Overall good - BUT...Arrived at 3 but room was not ready. Staff said they would call me when room is ready (estimated in 15 mins). After an hour woth no call, I went back to front desk to ask the status and magically the room was ready. I only stated one night so I did not use the amenities except the bar for 1 drink and grabbed a breakfast sandwich to go. The service was impeccable from check in, bar service, around the hotel and check out. The room was spacious, with a great area to work. Room also included a fridge which I appreciate. And the bed was SO comfortable with great pillows. Keurig also in the room. The thing that probably impressed me the most was I saw employees constantly cleaning all public areas, including the elevators. And they had a convenient shuttle that ran me over to the airport- right to my gate. I will absolutely stay here again.

Came to Tampa for a family emergency. The staff here made me feel welcome and immediately put me at ease. Every time I came through the Lobby, Lisa greeted me with the biggest smile and a wave. Lisa- that smile and wave did more than you know. If i ever come back to Tampa I will 100% be staying here!

I stayed here on a business trip with my fiancé for 4 nights. We landed at TPA around 9 and I called the hotel to get a shuttle and the phone rang and rang so eventually I gave up and paid $30 for an Uber. Once we got to the hotel, there were 2 front desk staff and a line of around 5 people in front of us. It took 30 minutes exactly for us to finally get to the front desk as they were taking a very long time checking people in and one of the staff members was doing his job at a snails pace stopping to make conversation with guests making the wait even longer despite everyone being clearly tired. We got to our room and it was so humid we thought a window might be open but the windows didn’t open. We turned the A/C to 60 degrees (as low as it would go) and “high fan” and it did nothing. We couldn’t touch/cuddle the whole trip it was so uncomfortably hot. I went to bed with wet hair one night and woke up and it was still wet. The pictures are not accurate. The snack area is different (the shelf with monsters and other items doesn’t exist) and the pictures of a business center aren’t even close. I met our attorney in the lobby expecting many seating areas as shown in the images where we could talk before leaving for a meeting but none of them existed. I grabbed a water before leaving and went to the front desk to charge it and waited very long while the staff member chatted with another employee about nothing work related before finally helping me. Was in town for a concert so made it a mini vacation. Hotel wad convenient to venue, easy to get to various attractions, stores and other dining options. Room was clean. Small maintenance issues but nothing that fisrupted our stay. Only issue was pillows. No sturdy pillows for eatching tv on bed. Elevators were fast do no or minimal waiting even though hotel was full. Staff was very helpful. Even contacted a shuttle service for the concert goers staying there Ate twice in restruant there. Foid was hood and great service. Didn't get meal package so a little pricey. Didnt use hotel facilities- pool, gym, etc so can't comment on those items. Pool was open and looked well maintained. Would highly recommend staying there and will again if the opportunity arises sgain.

Pros: The hotel was clean and well kept. They also have an authentic Indian restaurant at ground floor which offered really good Indian Cuisine. House keeping was on point and cleaned well. There is a gas station and a store just across the street and is like a 20 minute walk to Cypress Park Beach where you can watch the sunset overlooking the Gulf. Its like a 10 minute ride to the airport and they have free airport shuttle, you just have to reserve ahead of time. Cons: You can't connect your phone/ipad to the TV via Airplay Aside from the indian restaurant/bar in the Hotel itself, there's not much restaurants in the area

A parking pass was needed and we were not given it upon check in. We noticed the other cars in the lot with the pass and went in a bit later to ask about it. Was told that should have been given at check in. Also, we arrived about 15 minutes after the check in time and our room as not ready. Only took another 10 minutes or so, but still. Check in time should be when the room is ready. Everything else as fine.

The hotel is in a good area. Walking distance for food and drink. My rom was clean. Saw a small roach wasn’t too concerned. The only issue I had the housekeeper was coming in the room when I first got there. Not sure if she had the updated paperwork, but she apologized. Check out is 12 noon. However, housekeeper was trying to come in around 9:30am. I was coming back from getting ice when she was entering my room. I said I’m not checked out yet. I guessing she did not have the list who was checked out yet. The noise in the morning or someone talking in the hallway. That was about it. Indians and Latino driven. I only saw a couple of black people. The staff were not friendly.
