I only gave a good rating as the elevator was broken and the checkin clerk did not advise us of that and just pointed in the general direction to get to the 3rd floor

Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choices were more than adequate. Stay would have improved if elevator was working. It was out of order for our whole 4 night stay. The hotel could also use some new towels.

The elevator did not work and we were in the third floor. They told us the wrong staircase to use, so not only did we have to haul all our luggage up three floors, when we got up to the third floor, we had to walk almost to the very end of the hallway to get to our room. Right by our room, there is another staircase that we could have used. Then when we got to our room, our key cards did not work, so we had to go back down the stairs to get our keys activated. Not a good experience.

It sucked we came all the way from Wisconsin. Only to find the pool was broken bathroom door did not lock and for the price of the room it was cramped. I work hard for my money and enjoy spending on my family. I will never be back here ever again. You get only one chance to impress me you didn't. No more chances.

All of the staff members were friendly and very accommodating. The room and public spaces were very clean and comfortable. We were impressed with the breakfast selection and quality, and the gal providing the service was incredibly nice and helpful. The pool was nice and the seating around it was comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

A little long in the tooth but overall pretty good. Had the older hotel smell and carpet was wet under and by the hvac system…recipe for mold?? The pluses was a quiet night and their morning breakfast was really good so we tipped accordingly.

Bathroom was very dirty. I dropped a damp towel on the floor and it came up black. Tub was full of rust on the bottom. Was very concerned about the carpet and bed linens bases on the status of the bathroom.

Very good breakfast, conveniently located for what we needed, very clean and comfortable. We were a bit concerned about the tub. It is very slippery, even with rough strips on the bottom. The bottom of the tub is also rounded from the middle of the bottom up to the sides making it difficult to stand in. For someone older and not the most steady on their feet, it is definitely a fall hazard.

Hotel perfect for the occasion. Room was very clean and comfortable. Only complaint i had was the walls were SO thin. I could hear my neighbor coughing like it was in my room. I felt bad for having my TV on late at night cause I was worried they could hear it.

The property needs some updating. There is no way to keep the fan running when the AC/heat goes off which makes the room stuffy. They have a top sheet and heavy duvet like most hotels which does not allow for temperature control for your body.

Our room's smoke detector flashed a strobe light about every 20 seconds. We did not notice it when the lights were on, but when lights were off, it is was bright and annoying, to the point of effecting our sleep. We thought we were unlucky to have a bad unit that needed replacement. When we reported it to the front desk, the response was "oh, all of our smoke detector's do that!" Wow. They offer a nice property with a good breakfast, but we will not re-book a room due to this issue.

My stay was good only complain I have is I could keep the fan on in my room and it got hot in the room should have a way to turn the temp down farther and be able to have the fan run constantly to help keep the room cool the hallways were very hot witch could be why the room got hot when the air turn it self off

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The only I noticed was in the morning we could hear alot of water running from other rooms. I don’t know if it was because we were at the end of the hall and perhaps that’s where the water lines ran?? Anyways could hear lots of water running and the people upstairs above us must have been keeping elephants cause they could not walk quietly. No fault of the hotel, it’s just part of staying at hotels. The room was great though

Our room had an extremely noisy bathroom fan with no way to shut it off separate from the light. There could also be a small light in the area of coffee maker, needed to turn on bright entry light to be able to see what you're doing. Its ok if everyone is up but I'm an extremely early riser. Staff we're very friendly and accommodating, able to check in early.

Easy to find. What I didn't like was the staff when we checked in. The gentleman helping us was very nice and helpful. The woman who came out was not very nice. Was not in a uniform, no name tag, and was very rude.

This place was absolutely perfect for an overnight stay in Cedar Rapids. Conveniently located, clean, and easy check in. The gal working the front desk was wonderful. Breakfast in the morning had great options, including hot eggs. The gentleman working breakfast was fantastic and on top of keeping food stocked and tables clean. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Check in staff was horrible. She acted like I was bothering her and I was the only customer there.she highlighted a few areas on a piece of paper and told me to fill in everything that was highlighted, I was unsure of what needed to be filled in and asked for further instruction and she spoke at me in a loud voice, it was very uncalled for. I travel all the time for work and she was the worst I have ever run into. Don’t know her name and didn’t say anything because she was still working when I left in the morning. Very disappointing

Really nice room with everything we needed. My only criticism is that the breakfast space was too small for the number of guests. Many of the guests had to take their food back to their rooms as there was no place to sit.

I would love to leave a great review, but we came down for breakfast at 8:30 am and everything was empty. The food was all gone and bkfst wasn’t supposed to end until 9:30. Very disappointing. Thank goodness the pancake machine was still working or my son would have had nothing to eat. Even the milk was gone so cereal wasn’t an option.
