The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property is well kept and rooms are a bit outdated but they are showing upgrades like USB ports and plug ins on the lamps and wall sconces. There are reading lamps on both sides of the bed. Larger dorm fridge with small icebox and microwave is also in my queen room. Door security needs a lot of help. All of them have readers but the doors don’t all use them or the door needs to be closed all the way by guest to work. The door facing 33rd doesn’t close all the way but the reader works. Back door reader is not working and other side door I can not comment on. I did enjoy my stay though.

No Phone in room. Hair dryer was broke. With exposed cord. TV did. It work at first. Staff had to come and set it up. Was Unable to connect to WiFI and had not direct phone line to call for answers

The smell was awful: a mix of musty and stale smoke. The bathroom door was warped and didn’t fully shut. The mirror in the bathroom and the tv stand/dresser/mini fridge was distressed, but not in a shabby chic way, just old and chipped. Most of the outlets did not work. The lock on the door at the back of the building did not lock properly. Will not be back.

Sorry I Don’t leave any bad reports on properties, the place was dirty, I gone within an hour the room had a bad smell I really got nauseous so I looked for a different property to stay in. The gym was in bad condition like the treadmill and the bike machine, and overall had a bad experience.

It’s just a few minutes away from shopping and food, the hotel is easy to get in and out from, it has an elevator and accepts pets. The original room I had on the third floor smelled like cigarette smoke, also the carpet was wet the while room gelt damp. I was moved to a new room on the 1st floor the next day. Breakfast is sub par the waffle machine had to be filled and fixed, the milk was spoiled, the exit door I’m next to is broken you can go out but the key reader to get in doesn't work. The toilet chain broke. It’s an okay place, just a bunch of little annoyances.

Both the sink and the toilet in my room had drain issues. At the exercise room the weight machine was broken and the treadmill had exposed electrical wires and the air conditioning was broken.

A/C didn’t work. TV did not work, just said no service, try again later. Pubic hair on toilet seat. Carpets filthy. Charged $25 pet fee, but it’s not like they actually use that fee to clean. You get what you pay for. It was cheap but I would never stay again.

The sheets and mattress were stained everywhere to the point we slept on top of the covers and laid towels down. and animal hair in bed. Hair in shower. Fire hazard behind tv. Dirty floors. Nothing is secure. You can go in and out of all of the doors with no key card at all hours. We had to have the front desk redo our room cards three times during our two day stay because they did not work.

Pictures are very deceiving. The room was dirty. There were stains on the floor and the carpet was ripped. Found a cockroach in the bathroom, what appeared to be body hair in the washcloth and some sort of bodily fluid stain on the bed. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Staff wasn’t too concerned.

Not great. Hotel and grounds unkempt. Room was quiet, but not very clean. Blood on the bedspread, carpet and bathroom not clean. Actually bought Clorox based cleaner to clean bathroom. Hallways not vacuumed either. Hotel management obviously doesn't care. Would not stay here again.Yuck!

This property is fine for an overnight stay on the road. The room was small but adequate. The night (and morning) clerk was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the guest in the next room had dogs that barked in the evening and in the morning.

The vending machine was empty..yep just 1 vending maching for 3floors. The people above us from 9pm to 10:30pm when i finally went to front desk to ask if they could ask them to stop the loud jumping and running. We was in town to bury our Mom who had passed away so was very emotional and tired. Tv in rooms are very small and cable very limited as well. Nothing like the what is shown on website.

Three day stay and not once did room service come exchange towelettes. Was a weekend stay and didnt start serving breakfast tell 7am when we need to leave at 7am. Key cards would only work one time and then have to go get another room card each day. I will nvr be staying here again

Paget is an unscrupulous “businessman” that outright lied and misrepresented policies purportedly imposed by third-party platforms (in this case Expedia) that he, in fact, imposed. The breakfast was inedible and common areas unkempt and disgusting. I cannot encourage travelers enough to consider other lodging options.

Room was adequate. Check in could have been better. There were some internet issues that made it a long wait as the clerk checked in the couple in front of me. Mine went fairly quickly and I liked being given an option of which floor to be on. I was a bit uncomfortable when I returned late evening as the spaces near the building were all occupied and there was a small group of men gathered in the back of the building. Everything was fine but as someone unfamiliar with the area I was a bit uncertain,

There was a lot of people hanging around outside in the back. Not just this motel but at many of the other hotels that were nearby. They were a bit noisy and left trash about. It felt a bit unsafe. Not sure what is going on in Cedar Rapids

The breakfast was awful. Breakfast needs more options, fresher options that feel safe to eat. And juice machine was not working correctly. Lobby computer out of order. Rooms a little outdated. Keycard entry points only worked 1/2 the time. With that being said, we still really enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

We enjoyed being there. But found we didn’t want to spend more time than just sleeping. When we looked at our covers/sheet there we found 10 stains on just the sheets alone. If felt like our room Haden been cleaned in at least a week. Outside of the room, the staff was very nice and respectful. Breakfast was very very limited. As a celiac I only had yogurt and fruit. Coffee was not good and overall just felt like little to no options. Would not recommend.
