The property was nice. Needs some upgrade. The worse was the valet parking. I waited 30 min for valet. The structure where they park the cars is about 3 blocks away so it took forever. Otherwise it was ok

This hotel was a great find. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only drawback is the fact that the lobby area is small and can’t accommodate the number if guests for the free breakfast. This also applies to the elevators. During busy times you may have to wait a bit for an elevator that is not completely full. So, allow for extra time. I enjoyed my stay and will stay here again.

Arrived at the hotel to find scaffolding, complete disarray and no staff for valet parking. Called the hotel and was told to sit and wait (along with two other families) for valet staff to return. Staff at the desk in the second floor lobby explained there would be no breakfast buffet in the morning. In its place they’d have paper bag breakfasts near the elevators on each floor. Neither the construction nor the limited services were explained at time of booking or subsequent confirmation emails. I would not return or recommend this hotel to others.

I loved the location, but info about parking was minimal. Additionally, the lobby is on the 4th floor and nothing in the booking indicated that, so I looked pretty dumb trying to find it….

I booked this hotel specifically for the hot breakfast and valet. When I arrived on 3/15, valet was unavailable due to the St. Patrick’s Day parade. I did not receive any notification of this change. I had to park in a structure 2 blocks away that charged $140 for 22 hours of parking. It took over an hour to get the car to the self park and then to return to the hotel. I brought the car back to the hotel on 3/16 and was told it would be $65 for that night. Upon check in, I was informed the lobby was under construction and there was no hot breakfast available. I did not receive any notification of this change. Instead, we received breakfast bags that consisted of a packaged muffin, a packaged mini bagel, a box of orange drink, and a bottle of water. Not an acceptable substitution. So, in total, this hotel stay cost me $300 extra in parking, breakfasts, and ride shares. Not cool.

Lack of signage to tell you where to go to park the car. Had to leave the car out front. Go up 5 floors to lobby. check in then go back down to car (hoping you don't get towed) and leave hazards on, wait for valet, then give key fob to valet. on return trip, you have to call him and wait 15-20 minutes for your car

Incredible location. Right off the blue line and a short distance from the red line. Short walk to Millennium Park and the river walk. Literally next door to a live performance theater. Staff are over the top friendly and helpful. On the negative side: bed was a bit soft for my liking; the elevators are small and often crowded and therefore slow; breakfast has extremely limited options for vegans. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again (but would not count on getting a nutritious breakfast given my vegan lifestyle).

If you have a choice, you may want to pick another hotel, one that has a lobby you can get to easily. Review: tiny elevators, and only 3 for 21 floors. Lobby on a different floor so if you have a family and suitcases, it’s an ordeal just to get to the lobby. Room was not ready by 4. We arrived early knowing room would not be ready, but the woman at the front desk seemed like we were putting her out by being there early. Asked where to park, gave me a website…really? Told her I’d just valet it, then she got angry I had asked in the first place. At least the Valet person was friendly and super helpful. The wo that eventually checked me in was nice and very helpful, as was the breakfast employee. Room was 2.5 stars but not the cleanest. Location was good but still too far to walk to Shed. Close to Willis tower however. Overall hard to check in and out. Elevators…cmon, seriously for that many guests? Ok place but will not stay there again.

We had a great stay here. The room was much larger and nicer than we had expected, and very clean and updated. The access was easy, it was quiet and safe, and the location was wonderful for everything we wanted to do, while also being a better deal than the other hotels in the area. I would gladly stay here again!

The room and bathroom were clean. The carpet was worn along the edges as was much of the furniture around the seams and corners. The lobby is under renovations, so breakfast was supposed to be "grab-n-go" on each floor. Unfortunately food was never set out on our floor or was miscounted as there was nothing there each morning. Overall location was good as it's a close walk to Michigan Avenue and we never felt unsafe walking to restaurants in the area.

Rooms were very clean & comfortable, pretty good in condition. location too was very good, only issue was Cleanliness at their Dinning area. One family was enjoying their dinner by about 9:00pm and no one took care to clean the entire dinning area, almost all tables were I cleaned in the morning at 06:20 I went to get a cup of Hot Chocolate; they do have 3 Trash Cans right near to the front desk & dinning area, all 3 were full, tables & under the tables you can see food all over, you can clearly spot the stains of dried coffee which no one mopped. Their Person who was handling the breakfast came at 06:30am and started to clean the Trash and refill the breakfast quickly and by the time he can clean Tables, people had no choice rather than taking tables for themselves. I’ve worked as a Front Desk Manager at the Best Western & at Country Inn & Suites doing all Night Shifts and I know that breakfasts time is something that the guest wants to have it in clean area where being a Hilton as a brand failed at this property.

We got a strange room that didnt have a full window, so we hardly could see outside or get daylight. The breakfast was nice, but we had to take our food up to our room because there wasnt much seating. At 9:30am housekeeping knocked on our door... not sure why we wete bothered when checkout was at 12pm. The pillows were lumpy too.

Our room was quite spacious and comfortable. Only a few rooms on each floor and it was SOOO quiet!!! We stayed two nights and I had the best night sleep I have had in forever. Good location. We were able to walk to Soldier Field comfortably. Highly recommend.

Check in isn't until 4 pm yet when we went to check in at 4:50 our room still wasn't ready to go. The poor woman at the front who was clearly overwhelmed by multiple rooms not being ready at almost 5 pm kind of put a damper on things as well. I genuinely felt so bad for her. The room itself was very small and the beds were what I imagine sleeping on concrete with a sleeping bag is like. The hotel itself was definitely historic and in a very cool location but I am not sure if we would stay there again. The negatives definitely outweighed the positives. Also, there is no parking just $65 valet which I also found to be kind of crazy.

The staff were FANTASTIC!! Terry the front desk manager was so helpful and wonderful! The breakfast girl with the heavy accent was so wonderful and friendly. The valet guys are so friendly and welcoming. This will be my hotel to stay at in Chicago anytime I go now. I cannot say enough good things about it!

The front desk lobby clerk Robyn was a delight. Her attentiveness, friendly professional demeanor, and her ability to assist me with my special requests are greatly appreciated. I will definitely continue to stay at Hilton Honors Hampton Inn hotels.

We did not have a working toilet for the entirety of our stay and I don’t think we were the only ones on our floor. We called the front desk, we stopped down and talked to them repeatedly because we had to use the public bathroom in the lobby for 3 days, 2 nights. Ridiculous. No offer to switch our room - they gave us a plunger to try to fix it ourselves. We kept being told there was no engineer on staff so they couldn’t help. How can you book rooms when the bathroom is unusable?

Perfect location for our needs. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was ok. The wonderful service from Robyn in the front lobby was amazing! She greets everyone with a smile, even though it is crazy busy at the desk with the breakfast crowd, she answers the phone, registers & checks out guests, provides receipts, helps with the luggage storage..,she is one amazing woman! I truly hope Hampton Inn recognizes what an asset she is to the hotel and company!! Thanks Robyn!

Incredible location. Right off the blue line and a short distance from the red line. Short walk to Millennium Park and the river walk. Literally next door to a live performance theater. Staff are over the top friendly and helpful. On the negative side: bed was a bit soft for my liking; the elevators are small and often crowded and therefore slow; breakfast has extremely limited options for vegans. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay there again (but would not count on getting a nutritious breakfast given my vegan lifestyle).

Everything great. Clean facility, convenient location for us, very friendly staff, especially Robin at the front desk, and Admon, our valet who was extremely friendly and helpful, but all of our interactions with the staff, including the housekeeping and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions or needs we had.

The hotel checked all our boxes, but the people here are above and beyond expectations. We were able to store our luggage before check in as well as after checkout,, and the desk manager welcomed us with a smile, kind words, and even offered breakfast. I wish I remembered her name to recognize her high professionalism, but I was too jet-lagged. In the afternoon, Warren checked us in a way that not only welcomed and supported, he made us feel like long time friends. Definitely will choose this hotel if we visit Chicago again.

Room was exactly as expected. We were happy with it. We had a terrible view from our window but that happens sometimes, no big deal. Theatre district and Financial district right here and a 20 minute walk to Mag Mile shopping. 10 minute walk to the lakefront, etc. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, especially the valets.

We would definitely recommend this hotel! It was perfect for our weekend stay, walking distance from a ton of the things on our list, and conveniently located between Blue Line and Red Line stops for everything else. It was very clean, and the staff was very kind. They also had a great breakfast. I just got home, and I wish I could go back.

My father and I have stayed at this hotel for two consecutive years. It is extremely convenient to get to this hotel via subway from O'Hare Airport. Most of what you need to see in Chicago is within walking distance of this hotel. I will be back!

I love the location of the Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Hotel. It's in the theatre district. It's so close to shopping, local busses, and the famous Chicago EL train lines. The hotel is great with lots of history tied to the building. It was also so clean and some of the friendliest staff. As a solo traveler, I felt safe in the area. The breakfast options were also excellent. My belly was full every morning before I ventured out. My only minor complaint is the pillows. There were 4 on my bed but man they were so extra soft that I got a sore neck from it. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and will continue to book at this location when I visit Chicago.

Very Impressive! Great Continental Breakfast, very friendly staff and Cleanliness all around. Close garage parking (valet parking if you choose) which is nice so you don’t have to walk too far to bring it to the front of the building to load it. Great showers too! Pretty Close to just about anywhere that you want to go too. All around a great time and experience there.

The hotel was under construction and did not have that info before booking. We booked to hot breakfast but had to fight for a grab and go bag in the lobby. The grab and goes were supposed to be on our floor. When I called the front desk she told me at 7a that I better come quick as there are only a few left. Every interaction with the staff was poor. Very rude and they do not have staff that understands hospitality. We were talked down took at every opportunity. My daughter left a sentimental belonging in the room and we can to call twice then fill out an online form (run around) to get back it was not found. We have reasons to be in Chicago regularly, but will NOT stay here again. By the way 2nd stay in less than 30 days.

The room and bathroom were clean. The carpet was worn along the edges as was much of the furniture around the seams and corners. The lobby is under renovations, so breakfast was supposed to be "grab-n-go" on each floor. Unfortunately food was never set out on our floor or was miscounted as there was nothing there each morning. Overall location was good as it's a close walk to Michigan Avenue and we never felt unsafe walking to restaurants in the area.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Majestic. The staff were excelllent and friendly, the breakast was always replenished and hot (though same thing everyday), and location was excellent. You could walk to anything and were pretty close to the Magnificent Mile, Millenium park, River Walk and lots of shopping and food options. The train to the airport is half a block away so we would definitely stay here again! One issue was the wait times for the elevator but the stairs are an option if you are able. Lobby is on the fourth floor.

The hotel is very convenient to everything! The trains, state street shopping and Millennium Park are all a short walk. The hotel itself is in a historic building so it smelled a little smoky in the lobby but the lobby area and the guest rooms were clean and well appointed. The front desk staff helpful & Regina was especially helpful even though our room wasn’t ready until check in, she gave suggestions on local things to do.
