Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago

Spacious room. Stayed at the renovated wing but no soundproofed walls- woke up by heavy footsteps next door at 5 ish first day and alarm went off at a nearby room at 6am the second day for 15 min. The room was a bit dusty n deeper cleaning needed. Wifi- weakest wifi signal I have ever had in a hotel room! Slightly better if closer to the outside hallway. I had to use my own data. Safety- glad I checked the doors shared with the neighbour rooms. One of the doors from my side was not locked! Scary for those who travel alone.

Got stuck overnight and was looking for a hotel close to airport. The shuttle was great and the main reason I booked.

Wonderful staff

The newly renovated room is very clean and nice. The shuttle from Ohare airport was very convenient and the app is a huge bonus to track the arrivals of shuttles. The drivers, Omar and Ben V are very courteous and friendly which makes the stay extra special. Overall, I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Ohare hotel . I have stayed at other hotels previously and had not so nice experience and felt stressed. I will stay at Hyatt Regency next time for my flights.

I have stayed in many of the hotels adjacent or near by the convention center in Rosemont, and I would say the Hyatt is the best in terms of those that are actually connected to the CC (an important consideration with variable weather). The hotel itself is spartan and a bit dated, but rooms are immaculate, and the staff is kind and patient. The workout facility is above average. Now for the criticisms: There was a pipe repair during my visit, and the water was shut off, with no notice given to many guests like me, for 3 hours right before/after check-out on the day of departure. Suggestion was given to management to inform all registered guests in advance with text notifications rather than the printed sheets that were evidently available at the front desk 24hours prior to water shut off. I am a low maintenance traveler who rarely has a need to stop at the front desk after checking in, so I had no way of knowing about the pending inconvenience. This necessitated a last minute scramble in my part to reschedule the rest of my day. Complaint was register upon checkout, and desk agent was gracious and professional.
