For the price of the hotel, you can not beat it. It was very affordable and the pool was nice. The location was close to a lot of the places we wanted to go and when we were at the hotel, it was very relaxing. I wish there was a bar, but a convenient store is right across the street and we were able to satisfy that need. Lol.

We were just "traveling through" and needed a stop overnight between New Orleans and Memphis. The hotel was clean enough, and we were tired enough that we just went right to sleep. The bed was comfortable, and the temp was easy to set to a comfortable level. Cleanliness was good, and breakfast was the usual "full breakfast fare" with eggs, sausage, biscuits, etcetera, and decent coffee. Their outdoor pool looked good and clean and inviting, but we were just too tired to use it. They even offered us a room near the pool, which we took, but alas, too tired. Much refreshed the next morning, we moved on. I would recommend this hotel, not a five-star hotel, but clean and quiet and comfortable, at a decent price that we could afford.

Ants all over our room which then got in our things and in our car. Hotel smelled like weed and cigarettes, which it says it’s a nonsmoking hotel- obviously not. My husband noticed the elevator is over 2 years over the inspection date and he only realized that because we almost got stuck in the elevator and it was making a weird sound. Rooms give a very smoky motel vibe- not in a good way. The walls looked like they were covered in smoke stains. Carpet was sticky and turned our feet black. Bed was ABSOLUTELY UNCOMFORTABLE!! I mean that was honestly the worst part. Walls are so thin we could hear everything the person next door to us was saying. Breakfast was the cheapest breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. I get it’s frozen usually or powdered food they put together quickly but this was just gross. The pictures make it look 10x better. I only chose here because all of the other ones in this area had bad reviews and this one looked the best… no. I would not stay here again. I don’t care that it was only $100. I needed somewhere for our family to stay for one night as we travel several hours and this made me want to just sleep in our car. Unsafe, dirty, unprofessional, just bad bad bad.

The noise was from the traffic of the interstate, but still annoying somewhat. No vending for snacks at the facility were found. Breakfast was not warm enough and had to microwave it. Not a big variety for hot food. Room was excellent as far as being clean and staff were friendly. I would stay here again if available due to reasonably priced stay.

Comfortable. Good shower and decent air conditioning. It was clean and felt up to date. The parking is easy and it's a doddle to get to off the interstate. Perfect place to stop for a night as part of a journey.

After checking in, and getting room, I headed upstairs to the room. When I entered the room, I was greeted with a very horrible smell of urine. I went back downstairs to the front desk, and the gentleman, whom was really nice, said he was sending someone from housekeeping. The housekeeper came to the room and said the room had just been cleaned and said she could spray some air freshener. The housekeeper asked if I wanted to switch rooms, in which I said yes. She told me to go back to the front desk and she called the front desk attendant, and there was not an issue with switching rooms. As I was sitting and eating breakfast the next morning, a lady ( must have been over the breakfast bar) started sweeping and putting the chairs on top of the table, as if the kitchen was closed. She then started pulling the items off the breakfast bar. The housekeepers should do a better job with cleaning, as this hotel seemed to be a bit old.

Cleanliness was below par. The “renovation” done was purely a light layer of sub par makeup. A layer of lime green paint over everything. Patch work on the walls not done properly. The outlets and light switch were very dirty and looked 20+ years old. The shower felt like you were in camp trailer and the repairs to the shower we lack luster. The toilet seat was not securely on the toilet. The carpet was gross. The towels extremely thin. And the hotel hallways extremely dim. The stairs to the second floor were extremely creaky a d fell like they needed to be redone. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. We spent 2 nights and that was enough. Bring your own Lysol wipes. I ended up lysoling my own room.

Everything was decent except the shower, the hallways and the steps. Shower had long black hair at the top of the walls where I'm assuming since staff couldn't reach so they didn't bother wiping. The halls and stairway could of definitely used a good vacuuming.

If I could give negative stars I would. We got to the hotel and check in. Upon entering the room we noticed a roach crawling on the base board. It was immediately killed. After further inspection of the room we found an infestation behind the curtain. The front desk rep immediately moved us from the 1st floor room to a different room on the 3rd floor. When we entered the room there was a strong mold smell. Seeing that it's 2:30 in the morning we were willing to just sleep for a couple of hours and find new room accommodations later that day. When inspecting the beds we found bed bugs. When I went downstairs to report this there was another guest at the front desk complaining about mold. After going back and forth with Ash for over an hour he was able to get a manager on the phone who approved a full refund. This place is disgusting and needs to be shut down. I booked it because they had great reviews on Expedia and failed to check yelp. Needless to say I will be giving a review on Expedia in hopes to avoid another family from having to deal with this.

Bedside lamp didn't work and television showed dual pictures of same channel (split screen down the middle). Maintenance was off so neither got fixed during stay. Morning waffles were amazing. Convenient access to the highway.

Was there for a softball tournament. Got there around 10:00pm to check in and nobody was at front desk. We called the hotel # about 5 times and yelled hello for 30 minutes and nobody came check us in so my husband called the cops to do a wellness check since nobody seen the worker in hours. She finally comes out and my husband asked her if she was ok and she was acting very weird and not talking much. The cop shows up and took some info from her and told my husband he’s glad he called the cops cause she was only 15 ! So we finally get to our room and the ac didn’t work so we had to go back to the lobby to switch rooms. We are definitely not staying there again!

The front desk lady was very kind and helpful. I needed to study for an exam during my stay and she made sure to accommodate date me and she gave me a top floor room and at the end of the hallway to insure quiet study time for me! That’s service!

All i needed was a room to sleep in for a few hours. I arrived at arrived at midnite and left at 6 30am. I slept on 1 side of the bed and brushed my teeth. It was a little pricey for that which was fine but the kid at the front desk was really rude which just put a bad taste in my mouth. A little smile and a "hope you get some rest" would have made all the difference.

Check-in with Cierra was great! She was friendly, kind and exuded the best hospitality I haven’t experienced in a long time. The room was a nice size, very clean, loved the shower, TV, design and comfort level. The bed; however, was a bit too firm but I managed pretty good. Overall I’m glad I chose to lodge here for business. Choice hotels aren’t normally my go-to for lodging but will definitely make it a priority when traveling. As far as breakfast, there’s waffles, yogurt, muffins beverages, coffee, etc. I didn’t indulge. The hotel is very quiet considering the amount of people there. Walls weren’t paper thin. The interior, exterior and lobby areas were clean, which I love. Cracker Barrel is next door within walking distance and other stores are nearby. Great location off the interstate without the loud sounds of traffic.

The hotel was quiet and very well kept. The only thing is the location looked a little sketchy and I smelled weed one morning. When I walked out again, cops were everywhere. Only my daughter and I were in the area for some days, so it was kind of unnerving. Also, some weird people on bikes were hanging around one day. Overall, we would stay again because of price.

The hotel was good. We didn’t eat the breakfast so I cannot speak to that. The area is not bad, just at night it’s a little sketchy, many signs telling you to lock your car doors and we even made sure to park in view of our room. There is a Cracker Barrel right in the next parking lot and mini golf across the street. Overall good stay.

I chose the hotel because of the 8.4 rating. It was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. I didn't like the area. You had to drive through shady hotels and "adult only" stores to get to it and the Cracker Barrel next to it.

There are some sketchy people that want to rob you if you try to walk to places close to the hotel at night especially. But that seems to be a problem in Baton Rouge in general. I went to college there years ago and it wasn't this bad. Bummer to see.

Nice hotel - friendly check in, clean room and comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Not a bit of trouble, a great hotel that we would definitely stay at again! Breakfast was good - hot breakfast is back! Yay!! Eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, biscuits, juice …. Delicious!
