Beinvile House is our goto stay in Mew Orleans. We love the boutique feel and the sumptuous linens on the bed and in the bath. A little disappointed that the p courtyard pool is no longer heated and that continemtal breakfast is no longer provided. Both were generous offerings to weary travelers and morning after French Quarter reveling. We will be back but miss the nice touches!

The staff was wonderfully friendly! Because it is a smaller hotel, there was no wait to get a valet to park or retrieve the car or to get a luggage cart, and there was none of the typically New Orleans hotel during Mardi Graas chaos. The noise from a few cars playing loud music and from the nearby House of Blues at 1am did disrupt our sleep. Also, the pool has debris (bird feathers, for example) floating on top and what appeared to be pieces of the pool itself sitting on the bottom. NOT a horrible experience, but it was not a great choice for us for the cost.

A cute budget hotel, the staff was very nice and accommodating. My only complaint is some of the amenities advertised, the gym for example, aren’t actually located on the property and are at their sister hotel about a block away which is a bit misleading. All in all though a good choice if you want to be right in the French quarter on a budget.

The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do. The front desk staff and valet were very nice and welcoming. The elevator was tiny and very scary on how much it made noises. Our room was clean and comfy. they never leave enough coffee or creamers in the room for 2 people to have even 1 cup. the windows leaked water badly when it rained. The pool was closed because the pump wasnt functional. you could use the sister hotel's (a few blocks away) pool. I wish I had known this before check in so I could book a hotel with a functional pool. I wanted to relax for a few hours and swim and this is why we chose a hotel with a pool. again, front desk staff were great and called us a taxi at check out and they were there in like 2 minutes!

Stayed for 3 nights for a 21st birthday trip. Loved the location and its easy access to the quarter shops and restaurants. The property is a lovely historical building with a Tiki bar off of the lobby. We really enjoyed cooling off after a long day in the courtyard pool. We loved staying here and we will definitely come back again.

The only negative thing I would have to say would be the water pressure and the pool. The pool was dirty and we were unable to swim in it, and there is very little water pressure. Our room was very nice and the staff was excellent. They went above and beyond to make our stay one will will never forget. I will definitely stay here again.

The elevator was hot & muggy like a sauna & it sounded like it was going to break. They should disclose on all websites that the parking, the pool & the fitness center are not located at the same location as the hotel, that is very deceptive. The bellman/vehicle staff could be a little more helpful/enthusiastic at times. The beds were very comfortable, I had no problem falling asleep. The front desk people were very helpful & kind. The location was amazing, it is within walking distance to almost everything. The rooms were very clean & felt very homey.

When I checked in, no one was managing the front desk and I had to wait 20 minutes. Also my bed sheets were dirty though they did correct that issue. Location was good but found the staff a bit rude. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Shockingly clean- bathroom, bedroom, everything. It’s hard to find a hotel that don’t gross you out at least a little. This place is impressive. They being said- bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and DEFINITELY soap. Staff is great

Loved the layout and everything was great but the carpet in our room was beyond in need of a good shampoo or replacement. It’s historical so didn’t expect new features or even level floors but please clean the carpet.

This hotel was a great surprise. It was spotless, the staff were friendly and helpful and location was perfect for walking, attractions and Bourbon Street. We would definitely return. So clean... even the lobby bathroom!!

This property was rated wonderful and the pictures were impressive. It was very disappointing, the carpet was filthy, room had a musty smell, and shower was a joke. The hotel in general was warn and dirty! I don’t usually put on reviews but, this was BAD!

Staff not welcoming or friendly at all. Rusty curtain rail in bathroom. Ants crawling on wash basin. Staff indifferent and unsurprised when I mentioned the ants. No apology, nothing. I had a night booked before and after a cruise. I cancelled the after cruise night and stayed somewhere else.

The staff was nice The building was lovely but smelled very musty in the hallways. The elevator is ancient. The standard room is an interior room. There is no window and it feels very claustrophobic and cave like. First station directly across the street.

Overall, a nice hotel. We had upgraded the room and thought it would be a little bit larger and had a balcony. The room was small and the balcony was not very big. Our air conditioner was running non stop and we froze for 3 nights. Coffee maker in room had to be replaced. Also the water in bathroom was not hot. Food in the restaurant was too exotic.

We stayed 4 nights. The rooms are nice and very clean, staff nice and helpful but the hotel did not meet my expectations in these areas ( as advertised but not fulfilled): Guests cannot control temp in rooms. It's either cold or hot. The thermostat can only be adjusted by staff, switch is in the closet (?) and maintenance has to come in to do it. Pool is not available for guests to enjoy, it has not been cleaned for some time. They claim that pool is under maintenance but I think they are just waiting for temps to cool to drain it. We were there for 5 days and nothing was done with the pool. Our toilet seat was loose and housekeeping is hit or miss. Never replaced dirty glasses, towels and toiletries were replenished sparingly. No attention to detail. Rooms are not sound proof, again advertised as such. You can hear other guests in neighborimg rooms. Finally, our room faced the back of property. Every morning there was noisy music coming from the nearby ships. I would not stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is walking distance from almost everything in the French Quarters. It is an old building, yet everything works and kept clean. Parking is valet only so your vehicle won’t be easily accessible. Unless you’re visiting longer than a weekend, you probably won’t need your car anyway. Front desk receptionist was friendly & very welcoming.

I would’ve rated it higher if the lock on our door worked. There was not a working lock, and the first person at the desk I spoke to said she would send maintenance to look at it. Maintenance never showed up, so we asked the new person at the desk, and she told us to barricade the door with a chair… my friend and I took shifts sleeping, but it was not a good experience. Beverly was very helpful and apologetic the next morning, but there hasn’t been a resolution.

Overpriced for what you get….simply paying for the location. Room was clean but not what I consider a “deluxe king”. The floors creaked, the bathroom was tiny and the walls were very thin. The staff was not super helpful and thru charge for a late checkout and will not let you pay to leave your car parked past checkout. So ridiculous- for what we paid for the room, an hour late check out should not have been an issue. Definitely will not be back here. Plenty of other hotels in the area with a good location as well, with better service.

We have stayed at several properties in NOLA and this one is now our favorite. Going forward we will only book this property. The rooms were clean, well decorated, and the staff was incredible. Cynthia went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

While the property as a whole looked very nice, our staff was not the greatest. The staff were not good at communicating fees and charges. We utilized their “valet” service which is them parking your car at an undisclosed location, which requires about a 40 min wait to get back. We were charged daily for this service and were charged again after check out, but was not provided any receipts or documentation as their system was “down”.

Our first visit to New Orleans and we lucked out by staying here. The location is perfection, being very close to the action, but just out of the range of the noise. The walk to bars and restaurants is mere minutes, and there is so much around here for breakfast and dinner, and the Riverside Outlet is just around the corner, as is the steamer boat and the tour meeting point for all the trips you could ever want. Aside from the location being perfect, the hotel is too, with just the best staff, being the loveliest people, and so helpful. We will be back, and will not hesitate to come back to Bienville House - in fact, we'll make sure we do. All in all, it couldn't have been more perfect, which is normally tricky in NOLA.

Great location for tourists, walkable, great food nearby seafood restaurant and quiet bar on the corner. Hotel has a nice, quiet, soft, French style. Valet person was happy and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location. We loved the helpfulness of the staff. Shopping/dining are nearby. Great value. Only issue- the restaurant that is connected to the hotel was not open most of the time. Closed Wed normally then closed on Thurs due to weather no rain. No breakfast at the hotel( but plenty of places nearby) When we asked, we were told that it is not owned by the hotel and they set their own hours.

This was a very convenient location when attending the French Quarter Fest. Although we were in the middle of the the festival and accross from the fire station, the noise was not a problem when the balcony doors were closed. The room was cleaned daily during our 6 day stay, we had to consistently request towels as they took the used ones and did not leave new. The bar/restaraunt was nice but rarely open.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Always willing to help , tell you nice places to go etc . The room itself could use a deep clean especially the shower with some bleach. Was also disappointed there wasn’t at least a continental breakfast that’s advertised, then to be told it stopped since Covid, hopefully the Covid card can stopped being used , for it’s been 5 years. The location was great walking distance to everything. Bourbon , canal street, the river…..overall our stay was great.
