So lucky to have found this hotel! Skyline has been operating less than a year while they renovate the property. Surprisingly there was very little noise and the finished area is very nice. The staff are helpful and friendly. The lobby is pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was strong with plenty of hot water and good quality products. Food in the restaurant was okay to excellent - the chicken Caesar wrap was the best I’ve ever had. And the airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Even in the middle of the night! I know where I’m staying next time I fly to DTW. Thanks Skyline!

Skyline is one of the few places I choose when staying near the airport. Professional staff and clean rooms. The restaurant and bar offer a reasonable selection at a good price point. Note it stays open until 10pm so plan accordingly.

Nice clean stay. The hotel was a little skeptical when you pull up since there's no clear marking with the new name. However, the inside was very big and clean. Smelled fresh upon entry. Room was very clean and did the trick! The only negative is the elevator truly seemed like a service elevator for the side of the hotel i stayed in. It was tight and no doubt used to be just that for the previous hotel. Stay was comfy and excellent for the price!

We found the hotel was not as clean as portrayed in pictures. Leaves everywhere, our bed/sheets were wet in some areas which was strange to us. Overall, it would’ve been a nice space if it was properly maintained and accurate to pictures

Honestly we had to switch rooms twice. The first room had garbage all around and the baseboards had fallen off in different sections. Not impressed and staff wasn’t even phased by our complaint they just shrugged and said it was not the first time they’d gotten these complaints.

Room was in an isolated location just past the laundry room for the facility. Additionally it smelled. Staff moved me but the next room had a candy wrapper underneath a cup and mold in the bathroom sink. And I had to ask for the breakfast coupons I paid for.

Good, clean property! The staff were all very friendly and helpful... The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. Hated the sliding door that didn't lock, and while the shower looked new and updated, the glass wasn't long enough on the side (no shower door)... So the floor would get soaking wet every time the shower was used.

Entrance, lobby, and main floor beautiful! Then you entered a very small and old elevator getting off on the 2nd floor hallways a little small and outdated my room was beautiful, the bed and bedding plush and very comfortable and the blackout blind amazing i didnt want to get out of bed. I will most certainly be staying again

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. However it was very noisy. Directly across from the airport so loud jets non stop. Also other hotel guests very loud in halls and up having parties. It did not quiet down until 3am so i got very little sleep.

Booked a very last minute room here after a cancelled flight and not being able to travel again until the following day. The room was comfortable and clean, and good value for money. The shuttle bus to/from the airport was also a great addition! My only negatives would be how loud the air conditioning unit was, and that having a room on the ground floor meant I was woken up by car headlights quite a lot (I didn’t notice the black out blind behind the main one until morning as it was already dark when I checked in!)

Check in was easy. Very nice front desk staff. Put us in a room far away from noise so we could sleep after a hectic weekend and having to get on a plane very early the next morning. Clean room, very comfy bed, bathroom needed a little upgrade but not bad at all. Overall would def stay again.

I booked two rooms, one for me and one for my teen daughters, on May 15th. My incidentals hold for each room was $100. I travel a LOT and my honest suggestion is that you should stay here ONLY if you want to speak to their management 4x for them to tell you the hold will be released in 3-10 days but you don't need your money back for 25 days....Because they have no mechanism for expediting your hold release other than telling their customers to "be patient". NONE of the hundreds of hotels that I have stayed at for business or pleasure have EVER taken this long. This is unacceptable to me and if you stay here then you'll have to decide if you think that this acceptable for you. HEY SKYLINE. CAN I PLEASE HAVE MY MONEY??? I promise that once I get it, you'll NEVER have answer my reviews or not return my calls again. Ever.

It was a somewhat smooth check-in. I couldn't find the hotel because the signs were we covered. Once I got to my room everything was cool until I saw the balled up socks under the nightstand. My mom was a housekeeper and the bathroom definitely could have been cleaned a lot better. Other than cleanliness it was okay. I called down to the front desk to operate the AC and they weren't very helpful but they did call Mr. Shaun. He fixed it. Apparently the unit was off from the mechanical closet. But yeah cute hotel. I like the Marilyn Monroe pictures.

Upon check in the clerk was very professional, friendly and smiled during the whole check in process. I had an issue with room, the next clerk was very apologetic, and report my concern to management, who then took care of it!! This property is very clean, quiet with comfortable beds!!! My only issue was no pool towels or room towels! Housekeeping took care of it immediately!! I definitely will stay there again!

Night staff at this hotel should be avoided at all cost. They are very rude, unaccomadating, and left us stranded at the airport for 45 minutes waiting on a shuttle. The property is dark, dirty and unsafe. There are many options for hotels in this area. Its cheap but not cheap enough to warrant the hassle and treatment you receive from the night staff. I will admit that the daytime staff were much more accommodating and pleasant to work with.

We stayed with 2 young children, for 1 night after arriving at Detroit airport. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The room was fine, a bit noisy overnight but we had a white noise machine which blocked most of it out. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The restaurant was a disappointment. I can’t fault the service, but the prices were extortionate. Had we not had two exhausted children after a transatlantic flight, we would have walked to one of the nearby restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was included in our rate but I would have been outraged to pay $14 for the lox bagel, which was just half of an untoasted bagel. We would probably stay again for the friendly service and clean facilities, but I’d choose elsewhere should we need to dine on site.
