This property was very disappointing. The elevator was out of order so I had to have my room changed from a king with pull out bed to a regular king with no concession. The ice machine was out of order, pool out of order, shower was luke warm. It was disappointing.

Rooms stink with some bad odor. Pathways carpets are dirty, one elevator out of service, because of one elevator too many people are waiting to get to their floors and the stairs are dirty, lobby computer do not work as I need to print something urgent.

Elevator was broken. Floor in the room was very wet from either the mini fridge or the air conditioner. Sink and shower drains were so slow, they could eventually overflow. Pool did not open on time. Had to go ask to have it unlocked to use it. Water puddle under the exercise mat in the fitness room. Peloton stationary bike didn’t work.

Staff was very polite. Room was reasonably clean but appears the hotel needs some remodeling. Bathroom door had peeling paint and mold around the bathtub grout. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast fake eggs. Not up to the standards for Hampton Inn.

This Hampton Inn is disgusting. The entire building is dated. The carpets feel/look dirty, the rooms are musty, holes in the walls, mold growing near the air conditioning unit, hair all over the bathroom ceiling, FILTHY furniture, a room with no dead-bolt, and worst of all, bed bugs. This Hampton Inn DOES NOT live up the the Hilton standards. I will never stay here again. The front desk was helpful, they offered me 10,000 points (which they said is equivalent to a 1/2 night free stay), but sorry, I want my money back. They would not refund me. Avoid this hotel.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Raleigh/Cary, NC for three nights over the weekend of April 5–7. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. On the first morning, I woke up to find a bed bug in the room. The in-room phone wasn’t working, so I had to use my personal phone to contact the front desk. To make matters worse, both elevators were out of service for the entirety of my stay, which was a major inconvenience. When a staff member came to the room, they refused to even look at the bug, saying, “Please just take a picture, I don’t want to see it in person, it’s going to make me sick.” I did take pictures, which are attached. I was moved to a different room, but even there, I found a stink bug and someone’s earring on the floor—clear signs the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The next morning, I noticed red, itchy bites on my arm and collarbone. I went to urgent care and received confirmation that the bites were from bed bugs. What made the situation worse was the dismissive attitude from management. While the staff were initially friendly upon check-in, once I reported the issue, the manager’s tone changed completely. When I requested a reimbursement, she curtly replied, “You know that’s not going to happen. I gave you a free day and that’s it.” Despite claims of high ratings and cleanliness, my experience was quite the opposite. I would not recommend this location based on the poor condition of the facilities and the lack of accountability from management.

Sadly, we were very disappointed in this Hampton Inn. The carpets were dirty, smelly, and in poor condition. The furniture was owed and worn out. The refrigerator microwave did not work. Thermostat was difficult to regulate. The worst part was the terrible smell.

I’m usually very impressed with Hampton Inn. This time was a bit of a disappointment. It was clearly an older building in need of a facelift. Clean, but dated and showed signs of wear and tear. Bathroom light was out for my entire stay. I made them aware, but they did not fix it which was a problem. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Went for NC State football game . Location was fine, not far from stadium. Morning breakfast was suitable . The room was dated, furniture stained, shower worn out . When turning the water to hot the entire fixture rotated . Bed was so-so, pillows poor. Hole in wall from door , no door stopper .

Despite a fully prepaid reservation the front desk mentioned close to midnight at check in that there were no rooms available in a totally indifferent and unprofessional manner and made no real attempt to help or sort out a solution. After my objections as an Hilton Honors member and being vocal about a full payment made and demands to talk to a manager a room was MADE available!!!! Bad service, poor hospitality service!!

Bottom line: Excellent customer service, terrible property management. The one and only elevator is inoperable. Considering most rooms are on floors 2-5, that is a no-go for many people and I almost requested to change properties before I even got my key. My 68-year-old dad sucked it up because it was after 9pm when we finally arrived—luckily we ended up only being there for 2 nights. Tasia, the young lady working nights (by far the best part about our stay) at the desk offered to rebook me at a nearby Hilton property, but it was already quite late and I had an appointment at 9am. When we got to the assigned room on the 2d floor (she tried to accommodate us), there was no AC…in Raleigh…in mid July. We were quickly rebooked to a 4th-floor room but Tasia personally climbed up to that floor just to make sure the AC was ice cold in the room before processing the room change and keys. I called Hilton back just to get her name for this review, and I’m a little ashamed I forgot it after just a week. She did a great job and deserves a raise and to work at a premier Hilton property. Thank you, Tasia!

The room smelled very fresh and was clean. It was spacious and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. It was in a convenient location near some places that I planned to go while visiting the area. I enjoyed the pool, it was well maintained. I would stay at this property again.

The elevator was broke and they put us on the 4th floor. This was annoying, but not the worst thing in the world, however what made the stay worse was the breakfast....the staff did not do a good job of stocking the breakfast bar, and were standing around, apathetic to the fact that stuff needed to be filled. Seems like this place is poorly managed and we would not go back.

Overall the hotel was fine and I’d stay again. Downfalls were the elevators weren’t working so had to use the steps and didn’t see anyone working on them the 4 days I was there. Also, ice maker on my floor wasn’t working. The staff was super nice and the breakfast was good.
