Upon checking in the elevators were not working and got room on 4th floor. With recent surgery going up and down was difficult. Also my key didn’t work so ended up making two addition trips up and down. And the first night the room next door were noisy and I couldn’t sleep. Changed my room the next day and the elevator worked but I didn’t like the breakfast options also the hotel looked pretty worn down

We were staying on the 4th floor and when we went to get ice after check-in, the ice machine on the 4th floor wasn't working. The third floor ice machine didn't work either. Thankfully we were able to find ice on the 2nd floor. It would have been helpful if they had told us at check in

Staff is not available sometimes. Nobody at the front desk. The hallways are hot and wet. The AC unit makes the carpet wet and musty smelling in the room. The hallways smell bad. The gym is tiny, with broken machines, and just a few dumbbells, some of them are missing. The staff is really nice though!

The room was worn down, dingy and there was scuffs and marks on every piece of furniture. Hallways and elevators were hot and stuffy. The air conditioner did not keep a steady temperature. There was mystery stains on mostly everything. The bed appeared to be clean and the bathroom was also clean. Pool was unable to be used as it was green. Would not stay again.

We picked this hotel last minute based on reviews. Overall it was good for the price. Safe and super convenient location. Beds were comfortable. Things that affected my rating were: - floors of elevator were nasty and sticky for the two days we were there - room had huge tv but not a smart tv so only got a few local stations - ice machines on every floor were broken so you had to go to main lobby area to find ice - breakfast had short hours and was your typical hotel food - pool looked very green although we were there in the fall so probably no one was using it

The toilet was causing problems didn't want to fill a few times, the bedding had hair on it. And we were charged 25 dollars which neither of us knew about and it didn't have it listed where we booked as far as we could see and no idea if thats getting refunded

Our room had mold, the manager apologize and showed us another room, that room had a musty smell, and a 3rd room was okay. We were there a week ( 7 days ) and expected better service. Very disappointed, will not stay there again.

The hallways were crazy hot! Air set to 80. My room smelled like mildew. Everything was clean though. You could see where the bathtub had be repaired. I suggest maybe new flooring to get rid of the smell. The light above the bed was also broken.

Over all the hotel was very dirty. There was hair in the shower, on the floor. Dirty walls almost like the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The bed was very hard and super uncomfortable. Very outdated for the area it is in. I do not recommend anyone to stay there

The property is showing signs of age and general wear and tear, and could use updating. Some of the furniture in the room I stayed in (411) need repair, such as the door on the cabinet that holds the fridge and just general scufs and scrapes on the remaining furniture. The lamp shade also needs to be cleaned or replaced and the ceiling in the bathroom is cracked and needs repair. Aside from that, the room was okay. Had a decent stay, but probably wouldn't choose to stay there again given all the other options in the area.

Facility was mostly clean. Had a backpack with thousands worth the electronics stolen right in broad daylight feet from the entrance of the hotel from either members of the homeless encampment 100 yards away (which police were unaware of) and/or hotel staff which proved to be less than concerned or useful when we alerted them of the incident.

Every time I am in Raleigh, I stay in this hotel. I love the location and overall the hotel is very well maintained. However, this past weekend I stayed there with my husband since we attended a concert Friday and checked out Saturday. I was very unhappy because housekeeping started knocking in our door since 9:30 AM When checkout was still not even close. I also heard the lady in the front giving them instructions to knock on certain doors in Spanish, not sure what her name was. I was going to approach her to complain, but after hearing that I just didnt. I Understand people want to clean rooms fast, but you can’t do this to the customers. You have to wait until checkout time!

I was allowed to make a reservation with the option to pay WITHOUT verifying my address, and then upon check-in we were denied our room because our addresses on our ID's were within 30 miles of the Raleigh area. The dumbest policy I've ever heard of. The front desk people were very dismissive and unwelcoming, despite the fact that I came in with my WEDDING DRESS on and my husband showed is ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY ID. The most despicable interaction. We weren't some pot smoking homeless couple off the street, we were NEWLYWEDS with a RESERVATION!!! Will never come to this hotel again (or other comfort inns)and will warn people about booking a room here. Absolutely unacceptable discriminatory policy. I don't understand how you can come into a hotel you have a RESERVATION at and have them kick you back on the streets to find a new hotel at 11 PM at night. Please re-educate your staff on customer service.

We have stayed here several times and it has always been wonderful each stay. Our last stay when we got in our room the air conditioner was making a noise. We called down to the front desk 5 minutes later someone was in our room and changed out the whole air conditioner unit and was so friendly about it. The staff is super friendly and always ready to give information and are very informative about the hotel or dining or shopping or other things around the hotel area. Everything is super clean they offer a good breakfast and the pool is amazing and clean! Thank all of you so much for making us feel at home when we stay

We came to town for a concert at Walnut Creek (Coastal Credit Union Amphitheatre) This was an excellent choice in location About 15 minutes from the venue, safe area, and affordable. Love that there is a Trader Joe's right across the street! We ate lunch at the Carolina Ale House just up the street and recommend that as well.

staff was welcoming. Breakfast was really great. room was nice. we dropped it one star because it smelled damp and musty. we didn't notice till the following morning the ac had been leaking and there was a 3 ft wet spot on carpet. but literally everything else was perfect so overall 5 stars. thank you for a great stay we will def be back!

We were in town for my nephew's wedding. The hotel was perfect seeing that it was right across the street from my nephew's home. They were very accommodating since we had a medical emergency before leaving our home, we got a late start and didn't get to the hotel until 2:30 am. The attendant was very polite! The bed was comfortable, however it was pretty tall, I had to jump into it being so short, lol. The breakfast was amazing! Eggs, sausage, bagels, toast. 4 kinds of juice, waffles. I didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked ok. Not sure if it had algae, or if the walls were painted a shade of green, wasn't bad, just slightly green. It was nice to have someone at the desk 24 hrs.

Pros: Overall the hotel is good. I'd stay there again. Got a good rate from expedia. It was clean and the bed was comfortable! The property is pretty quiet. Cons: The shower door handle was broke which could be a fall hazard for someone and the toilet paper holder was also broke. I informed the front desk upon my check out and they said they'd have it fixed. The breakfast is pretty crappy. Runny powdered eggs and a waffle maker was out of order. They have cereal and milk, bagels and muffins. I just booked another week here. So if you are dead set on a great free breakfast, it may be a deal breaker for you.
