The location is great! The only thing I would suggests for a hotel of this category is yo have coffee machines in each room. That thing of have to go downstairs for a complementary coffee is for another hotels category, and frequently the coffee dispenser was empty. The hotel simply fulfills its function in a very basic way.

It was a nice stay. No glasses at all and no coffee facilities in the room. A hotel with only a paper cup in the room is not what you expect. Nice bathroom except for the water pressure.

Didn't like the $12.00 bottles of water offered in the room. Insulting! Not even a glass in the suite. Had to ask every day. Fridge full of over priced stuff you don't want and no room for your own stuff... Bathroom too small and cramped.

The location was fantastic. Staff was great. The quality of the Bar and Grill was lacking (except for the burger which was great); especially for the price. For the price, I would have expected coffee/tea and a microwave and refrigerator in the room. I didn't receive a room upgrade.

If you are looking for a nice hotel away from the noise of the city, this is a great option. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel was clean and comfortable. They had a hot chocolate bar in the afternoon that my 10 year old loved. We would definitely stay here again.

Doormen were really nice and helpful. Close to all major shopping and Central Park! Hotel is nice and clean. Bathrooms were a little dated but had the tv in mirror which was cool. Wish the fridge was not stocked to capacity so I could store the bakery items I picked up but had everything you needed and there was also a stocked snack bar.

The shower was fixed on the top. It was not a movable hand shower, so it was difficult to use. I wanted to drink hot tea in the room, but there was no kettle. These two points were disappointing. The bed was comfortable, with just the right amount of sinking and hardness. The surrounding area was very safe and i had a great time. Thank you so much.

Very convenient location to walk to museums. Dining options also walkable, as were shopping. Staff was helpful, friendly and professional. King Suite was large and tub was a luxury. My rating is because I expected a 4-star room and it felt low-rent. Plastic tile floors in main area. The bed seemed to be without a box spring which made it really low to the ground. The mattress needed an update as well. The room needs some updating.

The hotel itself was exceptional but check in was a beating. We booked two rooms, one wasn’t available until 6:30pm and the other until 9:30pm! We had to ask multiple times for updates and every time they would say “we will text you, it shouldn’t be that long”. Check in is 4pm and it took 5 1/2 hours to get the second room? They did upgrade one of the rooms which was nice but when you have one of your children and your mother with you, waiting until 9:30 is ridiculous and at that point you could care less about an upgrade.

They charge extra for everything Our room was ready when we arrived at 11:00 am but they wanted to charge $175 for early check in So we left the luggage and came back at 4:00 pm, then we asked for our luggage and the wanted to charge $6 per suitcase When I was doing the check out I ask for water and they say with a very bad attitude that they need to charge me extra for water because I already did the checkout It’s crazy. And never happened before in any hotel

Location is best im America. EVERYTHING is right there. Staff is extremely attentive and excellent workers. They found all kind of perks and things to offer us. Truly above and beyond. The property is older; needs renovations to bring it to 22 st century with period details. Our compliments to all employees who made us feel welcome and gave us the VIP treatment.

The property is very classy and well located. Neverthe less front desk staff is super slow (either the staff or the hotel's software) it took one hour to check in and the rooms were ready well after 4pm. The blind of our room (1625) couldnt be raised, we reported but nothing happened.

Wonderful hotel - feels like home away from home! Service was incredible. They happily accommodated every single request we made, and everyone was so friendly. The concierge team was so helpful and a pleasure to work with! Door men were all so wonderful too - always ready to help. We travel A LOT and stay in a lot of super high end brands so we have pretty high standards, and the service at Loews exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend it!

We were in NY a couple of days to visit my daughter. Each time I approached the desk staff for anything, they just couldn’t care enough to actually address the problem. We were woken up by LOUD drilling. The answer? “I’ll pass on your concern to the manager”. Need a key, extend your stay, get water for the room, anything was really just more than they wanted to deal with (Bell guys were amazing). The Loews is not the most expensive hotel in NYC, but is certainly not inexpensive in any way. It’s also not the nicest or only hotel in NYC and their desk service has convinced me that they’d like me to go back to The Pierre. Thanks Loews!

The hotel is very nice, excellent location and 5*. My issue was with their chef. You can't make it up. He refused to make me oatmeal with milk! With water only. No amount of persuasion would change his mind. And the person on the phone (room service) was rude. The manager tried to save the day but by then I was mad as I had a call and when a different breakfast arrived it came in the middle of a video call and was cold by the time I got to it. Not happy. They need to fire this obstinate chef and to remember that the customer is (almost) always right

The Loews Regency is my go-to hotel for family and business-related visits to NYC. The Regency Bar & Grill is the center of the Universe for breakfast and this is my family home when traveling to New York. Quiet rooms are meticulously cleaned and Frette linens are superb. Robert at the front desk and Joe in the Bar & Grill are standouts in an all-around excellent and accommodating hotel staff.

Our stay was lovely. The room was very large, bed was super comfortable. The location is great. The staff was very friendly and the bar, while quite expensive was fun and lively. The servers in bar were wonderful. Our only complaint was housekeeping which failed to do turn down service while specifically requested. But… the hotel and management handled the situation professionally and to our satisfaction. We will definitely be there every time we are in New York.
