Rooms were clean

Clean rooms safe parking

We needed a handicapped accessible room, which we reserved well in advance. When we arrived, at 6:00pm, after driving for seven hours- the room was not clean and the housekeeping staff had gone home for the day. There was some kind of notation about the room in the computer which surprised the desk attendant, but he would not tell me what it was. He consulted with the bartender who seemed to be the only other staff member available. The two of them offered us a “ regular” room, but my husband needed the grab bars. Then the bar tender said she would clean the room “ real quick.” We did not want to stay in the room after a “ quick” clean. Who knows what the notation was in the computer.. Biohazard? Why didn’t the housekeeping people clean it before they left? Would the bartender know the proper procedure to clean whatever the issue was? And would she take the proper time to do it thoroughly? We did not feel safe to use that room. So we began the drive about to find another hotel with a room that was clean and ready. Very disappointed in this hotel.

Good breakfast, paid not included. Starbucks coffee , bar available in the evenings. Room was clean and comfy. The gentleman who checked me in never even looked up, no eye contact, not once! The pool looked nice but i was too tired to check it out.

Great stay, clean room, friendly and helpful staff.
