Courtyard by Marriott Oklahoma City Northwest

Property in good condition. They advertised hotel as having a business center, but computers & internet connection were not working. Treadmill machines need to be updated & there were small ants in my room.

The first thing we noticed was the entire hotel reeked of marijuana both inside and outside. It was like we couldn't get away from it no matter where we were on the property. Even the hall and our room smelled like it. There's a good amount of homeless people in the area (not on the property itself) but they kept to themselves and were not a bother. The elliptical machine was broken in the workout area. The hotel seemed cleaned and the staff was friendly.

My recent stay at the Courtyard Marriott Northwest in Oklahoma City was a mixed experience. Stephanie at the front desk made a fantastic first impression with her welcoming and friendly demeanor. Despite the hotel being extremely short-staffed, she was knowledgeable and accommodating, ensuring we felt well taken care of during our stay. The lobby was a highlight, featuring a nice, open, and modern design that created a pleasant atmosphere. However, the condition of the carpet throughout the hotel left something to be desired, as it was in need of either replacement or a deep clean. The beds were okay, but it's clear that they are nearing the end of their lifespan and will soon need new mattresses for optimal comfort. The hotel's location is convenient, being close to the Oklahoma City Zoo and the Science Museum. Additionally, it's within walking distance of Chick-fil-A and McDonald's, which is handy for quick meals. One significant drawback was the ice machines, almost all of which were out of order during our stay. This was quite inconvenient and detracted from the overall experience. Overall, while the Courtyard Marriott Northwest has some positive aspects, particularly the excellent service from staff like Stephanie and the modern lobby, it also has areas that need attention, such as the carpet and mattresses. The location is great for visiting nearby attractions, but improvements are needed to make it a more comfortable stay.

Well since Hotels.com rejected my 1st review here are the facts. The coffee pods didn't fit the machine. The tv had limited cable channels, (1980). The grounds were bare dirt. Elevators were slow. The entire property was dated. Wont stay there are and Marriot needs to reinvigorate their brand.

Had to park in the back of the hotel. None of the exterior door worked for our keys. Had to walk around the building to the front entrance in the middle of a bad storm just to get to our room. None of the parking lights were on. Other than that, everything was great. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.

There is as no luggage cart. Staff said they only had one luggage cart for entire hotel and that a guest had taken it into their room so they could not retrieve it. The hallway smelled like cigarette smoke - people had smoked in the hallway. The room had a mild bad odor. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful but the property needs to be upgraded and they need luggage carts and strict enforcement of no smoking.

KEY DID NOT WORK, HAD TO CHANGE ROOMS DESK CLERK ON THE PHONE ALL THE TIME, DID NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR POLICY OF NO CLEANING UNLESS STAYING FOR THREE NIGHTS! FAUCET HANDLE FELL OFF IN THE TUB POOL WATER WAS NOT COMFORTABLE FOR INTER TME NO TRASH BAGS IN TRASH CONTAINERS 1 SMALL BAR OF SOAP (FOR THREE PEOPLE FOR TWO DAYS??!!) ONLY THREE BATH TOWELS, HANDTOWELS, AND WASHRAGS FOR THREE PEOPLE FOR TWO DAYS ONLY TWO PACKS OF COFFEE AND CONDIMENTS FOR TWO DAYS NO PULL UP BAR ON THE TUB SOAP, ETC. DISPENSERS ARE TOO HIGH IF USING TUB FOR A BATH FLOAT VALVE IN STOOL TANK HANGS UP ROOM HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED WELL EMPTY WATER BOTTLE IN A DRAWER CARPET NOT VACUUMED AROUND THE EDGES TRASH BEHIND SUITCASE STAND $4.00 FOR A BOTTLE OF WATER? REALLY!!?? $4.00 FOR A SMALL BAG OF CHIPS? REALLY!!?? OVERALL: VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE HOTEL AND YOUR NEW POLICIES!! YOU CANNOT BLAME YOUR CUTTING OF SERVICES ON COVID; IT HAS BEEN OVER FOR THREE YEARS. IF MANY OF YOUR HOTELS ARE MANAGED LIKE THIS ONE; YOUR REPUTATION IS ON THE LINE. It was a basic property. I had a hard time understanding the man that checked us in. The gym equipment was missing half the weights and elliptical machine was broken. A nice woman did bring me water during my workout.

Love staying at this hotel with a balcony. Makes the room feel so much larger! Very helpful staff. Very comfortable room!

Room smelled so bad - musty and old. The bathtub was stained and rusted. You had to force the door closed. The bed was weird - it was too short. I’m only 5’5’ but my feet were at the end of the bed - so odd. The coffee in the lobby was terrible - it was so light that it was like coffee flavored water. I know it’s not a high end hotel, but these are pretty basic things they could improve on. I won’t stay there again.

Centrally located with easy access to shopping, and dining. On site, easy parking. Nicely decorated. Staff excellent to okay depending on the day. The man who checked us in was excellent. Property was very clean except in one area: the carpets in the room and room hallway smelled like mildew. The other problem: No one cleaned the room during a three day stay. Not even a garbage pick-up. The maids attempted to on the third evening after 5pm. We had returned from a full day at the hospital and were eating dinner. Too late. We were leaving in the morning anyway.

The cleanliness of the hotel was poor. The towels were thin and old and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpets in the room and the hallway was clearly dirty. The faucet in the bathroom was broken.

VERY unclean. Rusty and dirty shower. Pubic hair and mouse poop in bathroom. The balcony was absolutely trashed. I wouldn’t ever stay here again.

Didn’t like the dead bugs laying around in the bathrooms

I rated cleanliness a 4 because there was trash in my bathroom waste can. Otherwise, the property was great.

Hotel did not come with a breakfast, but had a cafe/bar. We got coffee before we headed out. There was just one employee both working the counter, making drinks and cooking the food. She was super busy, but still had a great attitude.

Wonderful room. Nice balcony

The room was layed out so strange. You couldn’t see the TV from the bed. The furniture blocked the walls way to get into the room. Very run down property. Marriott needs to remodel or take their name off it.

The air conditioner in the original room was too noisy

Clean, was able to check in very early. Bed was comfortable. Seal in window was broken so window isn’t clear. Shows some age wear. But still nice

If you’re looking for somewhere to just stay the night it’s fine. But the building is old and the room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. We also heard someone walking upstairs for hours. It’s okay, but wouldn’t recommend for multiple nights.

The hotel room had no towels, toilet paper, or hand soap. There was a old Mcdonald’s bag on the floor. When I asked for the missing items, they STILL forgot the soap. The front desk lady was super nice to the people before me and my family then stand offish to us. The desk was empty most of the time and one time she was just on her phone loudly- on speaker.

The night manager at this location is a true asset to your company.

Person who checked us in was wonderful. All downhill from there- we left the next day instead of staying the second night. Lobby was dark and dank. Employees were busy smoking at the entrance almost 24/7. No coffee service at all- came down at 7am for coffee- totally dark, I asked and was told "Oh he went home" with a chuckle. No apology just an oh well- told me to go to McDonalds!. Brown stains on the hand towels. I was revisiting Marriott on this road trip and had no idea the Brand had fallen so far off the cliff.

Check-in was very fast and efficient. All of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable, and surprisingly being on the bottem floor it was quiet. The hotel was so close to shopping, entertainment and any restaurant you would want---Great location!! Will definitely stay here again!

Great location for a weekend stay.

It was very comfortable the bed, good location, the area a bit sketchy but I guess this city is very poor and has a lot of issues. I didn’t feel safe in the parking lot or the area.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but basic. Water provided but no morning coffee. We had ability to make coffee in the room. There was no breakfast availability with the booking had to pay separately. But the grill wasn’t working so over half the menu was not available. Felt safe in the area of town and many other locations for food available. Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly.

Parking was very easy. Safe and quiet surrounding area. Dining and gas station close.

Just the right distance from the woman’s college World Series stadium.

This Courtyard is maintained ok, kept clean, but is quite minimalist. There is no free coffee in dining room in the morning, room amenities are small and sparse, but the friendly staff is quite happy to give you any extra soaps, towels, etc. For the price, I will compare other hotels for my next stay.

This property is older and it is obvious. It’s in a great location though and worked perfectly for our travel. Staff is very friendly. Only on-property meal options are a Starbucks with irregular hours. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Hate that free coffee is not offered. They have a Starbucks, but too expensive and I hate Starbucks. Water control knob in shower keep falling off when used. Called maintenance each time. They came and reattached the knob, but it always fell off again. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.

First night was bad. Food and service was terrible at the bistro. (Avoid it like the plague) woke up the next morning and the credenza was crawling with ants. Couldn't add a pic of the ants. Desk clerk sent a maintenance man up to spray but he decided the room needed a full "treatment" and got to desk clerk to move us to a different room. The other three days were good and no complaints.

Nice and clean. Only complaint is the breakfast hours. 7-9am 😏

They claim to have a restaurant. It is not open for lunch or dinner.
