I have been staying at this hotel for years during my daughter’s medical treatments, and we have always had a great experience. Sadly, today, August 27, was very different. At 6:30 a.m., I called the front desk because we had no warm water. I explained to La Toya that my special-needs daughter needed to shower before an important doctor’s appointment. She said someone would come check it, but no one did. When I called again at 7:20 a.m., she was very rude, told me maintenance didn’t arrive until 9:00 a.m., and hung up on me. When I called back for her name, she raised her voice at me. I had to shower my daughter with cold water before her appointment. Maintenance problems happen, but there is no excuse for a lack of compassion and respectful customer service. This has always been my daughter’s favorite hotel, which makes today’s experience even more disappointing. I truly hope management addresses this.

The king size bed was clean and super comfortable. The walk in shower was large and roomy. The ac unit was moldy making the whole room smell moldy. There was no body soap in the container in the shower. Phones took all night to charge and only charged to about 80% by morning. No lamps by the bedside. Breakfast was free, but no waffle maker. There were premade pancakes and french toast. Hotel was quiet and peaceful.
