Our room had at least seventeen bugs that we've found so far. The elevator has a large grasshopper hanging out on the ceiling. There's no ethernet ports so I had to finangle connecting my PS5 to the Wi-Fi through my phone. The WiFi is dial up grade. I had to use my phone's hotspot to get a real Internet connection. I paid for a suite, not just a room, so the lack of a stove to cook my friend pancakes on is disturbing. There's a laundry room but it costs $3 to use both the washer and dryer, and when I asked the clerk at the front desk for change for my five he said he only had eight quarters so I had to go across the street to the gas station for five dollars worth of quarters. I put my clothes into the machine and paid twelve quarters. I hadn't realized my mistake until returning to use the quarters that I was missing four so I gave him another fiver for three dollars and eight quarters. Then I went to my room and grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper and a cup, and took that cup to the ice machine. No ice. Motor runs, no ice for a minute holding the button. On the way back to the laundry room I noticed another ice machine on the next floor up. I walked up and tried it and got ice for my soda. The dryer's lint trap, I rolled up and pulled out a ball of debris bigger than my fist. I suppose if I had to say something positive about this hotel, the bed is excellent. Soft. I woke up a few times in the night, as I regularly do, but each time I wasn't overly tired and nothing hurt.

The property could be really nice but its not kept up well. No attendant in breakfast area so it looks like savages have been there most of the time. The guest run crazy. Im pretty sure there were a few low proce call girls and you could get a contact high just being outside!! Pool area was not well kept and seemed to be the nigtly party place. A security guard and someone to clean would make this properly a million times better! Hate to be so negative but it was a long week!!!

Where do I start, duck tape on the cutains to cover holes, towels on the shelf was filthy, only 1 elevator worked and it was on the opposite end of the property & opposite from where are room was located, the bed linen had burn holes in it, there was a hole (punched previously?) in the bathroom door, paint missing on the walls, holes in the "office" chair (the stuffing on the back of the chair was completely exposed) and English is not understood or spoken by the employees. The worse property conditions I've ever experienced booking thru Expedia.

The bed sheets are clean. The floor and the room are clean. But the bed cover has stain and the iron board has stain. One of the chairs is in poor state. The drain in the shower is slow. The hotel is next to a highway and rail road so you will hear road noise and train air horn. They collected $50 refundable deposit. So pretty average hotel. The laundry is coin operated and only has 1 washer and 1 dryer and they said it is 3rd party owned not the hotel operator. We went to a laundromat instead. Please see photos I uploaded.

Manager argued with me about wanting fresh towels, asking me, “Do you use fresh towels at home?!?” Uhm YES!!! Charges a deposit for a non-smoking room. Fee for early check in. Breakfast was horrible, sausage sitting in pan not on heat with film on them. Ran out of everything. Ice machine broken. No microwave in room. Have to travel to the lobby to warm up food. Hotel next to sand and dirt factory…ok my fingers are tired but there’s so much more.

The room was clean and comfortable, but no coffee maker or microwave. The pool was so dirty we decided not to swim. The breakfast was ok, but there was no coffee and nothing was refilled in the 30 minutes I was there. Also, the area the hotel was located was not a safe place.

I’ve stayed at Days Inn before, in other locations, that were great. This one had me wary right away. Though the clerk was busy, he was very polite and efficient. The first issue was the broken floor tiles clearly visible in the office doorway. If they don’t clean personnel areas, what else isn’t clean? I was to find out as I opened the door to the room to find the room incredibly stuffy, as the AC was off. The bedspread had noticeable brown marks and just left an overall unclean feeling, making it hard to fall asleep after a long drive. In the morning, heading back downstairs, I found there was no call button for the elevator on the 3rd floor, just a hole in the wall, with hanging wires. As I’d specifically told the clerk I have horrible knees and have issues with stairs, I wasn’t happy carrying my bags down two flights. The “breakfast” options were toast and cereal. Not a massive issue, but as breakfast was pointedly displayed on the website, I expected more. I simply left asap and will more than likely avoid Days Inn in the future, if this is any indication of how they’ve allowed their hotels to fall in stature.

Room was semi clean , air was working, room had a smell to it/ ants were in the bed. Toilet wasn’t too clean; the receptionist at the front desk was very rude,didn’t verify my ID that she asked me for, had me sign a receipt that wasnt mine. When i tried to correct her she got snappy with me. No one directed me or where my room would be located once she gave me the room key. Didn’t make me feel welcomed at all. I am very unsatisfied overall.

This place was obviously recently renovated. However, it was roach infested. I didn't sleep at all because roaches were falling from the ceiling, crawling on the bed and floor. I counted at least 20 roaches in my room. They were small not the large ones that come out on occasion. There was an obvious infestation. Terrible.

The hotel was run down, the room you couldn’t walk without your shoes or your feet turned black. We discovered bed bugs the morning after we arrived so we left early. Have been working with Expedia to get a refund but have not been able to get anywhere so far with the hotel responding.

Most horrible experience I've had in my life so far , might as well be at a truck stop restroom. The bed was so filthy I didn't even sit on it . Toilet still had crud all over , the fridge had rust inside , even the chairs had all kinds of stains all over and the bottom was hanging out. Slept in my car, couldn't get a refund, and Expedia didn't call back like they promised.

This was a terrible property. Expedia listed it as 4.2. When I booked saw that it was rated below 2. Room smelled like moldy carpet. Mattress was lumpy placed on a sheet metal frame that popped everyone you moved. Shower ceiling had paint peeling, and low water pressure. Walked from shower to bed to sit down & put on socks. Dirt & grit on bottom of feet. Sheets, blanket, and bed cover smelled like cigarettes. Towels had stains on them. Went to “free “ breakfast at 7 am. No one in the room. No food, no coffee. Guy behind desk said to use coffee in jugs and heat In microwave. I will never use Expedia again, and will never stay in a Days Inn

This Days Inn was dirty right from the lobby into the room. Floors filthy, paper cups under bed with dust balls, the surfaces were sticky and dirty. The linens were clean, the only saving grace. Will avoid Days Inn in future.

I normally I’m not one to complain, and I can really let places get away with a lot before I mark them as bad, but this place was truly disgusting. I have pictures I’m not sure if I can attach, but from yellow stains on the white shower curtains, the white towels, other color stains on sheets, dirty floors, super dirty air vents, almost clogged with dust and dirt, molded, and corroded mirror/sink. The single king bed was no better than a futon with a movable, extremely loud squeaky metal frame, and spring, that you could move the entire bed with one hand. The bed itself was terrible in comfort. And like I said, I’m not usually want to complain especially for the price, but this was just unacceptable. Then when I get there and they tell me I booked a smoking room when I in fact book a non-smoking room and charge me an extra $50 for a non-smoking room undisclosed

Our room had at least seventeen bugs that we've found so far. The elevator has a large grasshopper hanging out on the ceiling. There's no ethernet ports so I had to finangle connecting my PS5 to the Wi-Fi through my phone. The WiFi is dial up grade. I had to use my phone's hotspot to get a real Internet connection. I paid for a suite, not just a room, so the lack of a stove to cook my friend pancakes on is disturbing. There's a laundry room but it costs $3 to use both the washer and dryer, and when I asked the clerk at the front desk for change for my five he said he only had eight quarters so I had to go across the street to the gas station for five dollars worth of quarters. I put my clothes into the machine and paid twelve quarters. I hadn't realized my mistake until returning to use the quarters that I was missing four so I gave him another fiver for three dollars and eight quarters. Then I went to my room and grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper and a cup, and took that cup to the ice machine. No ice. Motor runs, no ice for a minute holding the button. On the way back to the laundry room I noticed another ice machine on the next floor up. I walked up and tried it and got ice for my soda. The dryer's lint trap, I rolled up and pulled out a ball of debris bigger than my fist. I suppose if I had to say something positive about this hotel, the bed is excellent. Soft. I woke up a few times in the night, as I regularly do, but each time I wasn't overly tired and nothing hurt.

From 7am there was loud noise- tires screeches, doors slamming, music, talking and laughing. All day all night. Apparently people live here. There were groups of men outside of my door smoking marjuana and drinking. It felt very unsafe. I should have paid attention to the bullet proof class behind which I was checked in. And the wifi was useless. Very disappointing stay.

The good. Rooms are renovated and nice. Clean place. Will stay back on this hotel if i need to. The bad Entrance is a little tricky but overall not bad. Looks better on the inside than outside. Bed frame was metal so it made a loud bang noise everytime I step out or into bed.

The room was good. The bathroom was so tiny I couldn't move. There was no breakfast to speak of. Two eggs stuck to the bottom of the pan. Two greasy sausage pattys. No gravy, no biscuits, no grits. I couldn't get a receipt because I booked with a third party. Why??? Probably won't stay there again.

The bed sheets are clean. The floor and the room are clean. But the bed cover has stain and the iron board has stain. One of the chairs is in poor state. The drain in the shower is slow. The hotel is next to a highway and rail road so you will hear road noise and train air horn. They collected $50 refundable deposit. So pretty average hotel. The laundry is coin operated and only has 1 washer and 1 dryer and they said it is 3rd party owned not the hotel operator. We went to a laundromat instead. Please see photos I uploaded.

Bed was on a metal platform. Every time you walked up to bed, you stubbed your toes on the metal that was sticking out. At night, every time I turned over in my sleep, the bed sounded like it was falling down. I got no rest and had to drive on Sunday - horrible, horrible experience - I wasted my $91 credit and still had to pay $100 for a horrible night.

Room was semi clean , air was working, room had a smell to it/ ants were in the bed. Toilet wasn’t too clean; the receptionist at the front desk was very rude,didn’t verify my ID that she asked me for, had me sign a receipt that wasnt mine. When i tried to correct her she got snappy with me. No one directed me or where my room would be located once she gave me the room key. Didn’t make me feel welcomed at all. I am very unsatisfied overall.

This place was gross. We checked in and checked out moments later. They did not refund my money. Pictures in the website did not look like the actual place. The area is sketchy. The hotel door had a 3” gap, so we could see outside and was not secure from the floor. Windows were boarded up with wood. Not a safe feel at all. Had to call 3 times before they finally returned the $50 deposit.

The housekeeping staff started beating on my door hours before checkout. I went ahead and opened the door and told her come on and start cleaning since she couldn’t wait until I checkout! She snatched the sheets off the bed and went to wipe the bathroom counter with dry napkins! No disinfectant or anything! Like wow! I have never been harassed like that!

At check in the lady at the desk said that my card has been denied prior to check in.. when I had a receipt from Expedia stating otherwise and she was saying the last 4 digits of my credit card did not match. She called someone and it was straightened out. We reserved a handicap room because my son has congestive heart failure and our room was in the 3rd floor and 3 flights of stairs. When we got to the room my shoes were sticking to the floors that had broken linoleum flooring. My pillowcase had stains on it and the tv table has greasy residue on the top. I tried to get a different room and the lady at the front told me she had already assigned me a room and there was nothing she could do, and that I was in one of the best rooms they had. I sprayed our bedding down with Lysol laid blankets that I had brought from home on top of the beds to sleep on. The only reason we stayed here was to be able to get to UAB early the next morning for heart test for my son. The advertising is so misleading! Will never stay here again.

They got my deposit and said they gave it back. The manager said they put it on a card that’s not even mine. I asked why would they put it on a card that I didn't use to check in with, so they basically tried to steal from me. When I call to get it back, they put me on hold and then hang up on me.

I reserved the room for 3 adults and one toddler. We asked for more towels the next morning as there was only 1 set of two bath towels and two wash rags. We had 4 bodies to wash. We never received the towels. Breakfast was white toast, sausage patty and cold cereal or microwavable oatmeal, or muffins. Not impressed.

The area around the hotel is sketchy.Closed down gas stations,other buildings & road work.Very ghetto.As soon as I walked in the lobby to check in,it smelled like marijuana.I don't know if it was the people checking in before me or what?When I checked out the next morning the smell wasn't as strong.I went back to the lobby an hour later to ask for extra towels & washcloths,it still smelled.She didn't want to give me extra but finally did.I returned them an hour later because my friend wasn't coming due to sickness & I didn't need them.I also cancelled the second night reservation because I would not need it.I was told I would get a refund for the second night when I checked out the next day.At 3am I was woke up to a woman yelling & pounding on someone's door screaming for her phone & to let her in.That lasted about 20 minutes then an hour or so later a man walked outside my room whispering low,"hello"in a deep voice.He went on.I had to put the chair under the door knob & be prepared for anything.I got about 3 hours of sleep because of this.I checked out the next morning & told them of all this.I don't know if they looked into it or not but I doubt it.I figure they have a lot of unwanted type characters that party & to be honest, prostitute there.It was not safe.I just prayed the Lord protect me & my vehicle which I parked where their cameras could see it,if they work.A new girl checked me out & she said I would receive a refund for the second day.I am waiting.

Was in Birmingham for grandsons soccer. Motel located close to all soccer fields. Room was large and bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was not good. Arrived at 6:30 AM. Sausage was cold and covered in grease in pan with cold eggs. Did not taste good after being microwaved. Had to eat at IHOP after 7:30 soccer match. Everything other then breakfast was fine.

The property could be really nice but its not kept up well. No attendant in breakfast area so it looks like savages have been there most of the time. The guest run crazy. Im pretty sure there were a few low proce call girls and you could get a contact high just being outside!! Pool area was not well kept and seemed to be the nigtly party place. A security guard and someone to clean would make this properly a million times better! Hate to be so negative but it was a long week!!!

The room was very basic but clean. Breakfast was also basic with scrambled eggs and sausage patties. You could either make a sandwich or just plate the food. Also had a pancake machine. All in all a very good Breakfast to start the day. I would stay there again 😀

This was a terrible property. Expedia listed it as 4.2. When I booked saw that it was rated below 2. Room smelled like moldy carpet. Mattress was lumpy placed on a sheet metal frame that popped everyone you moved. Shower ceiling had paint peeling, and low water pressure. Walked from shower to bed to sit down & put on socks. Dirt & grit on bottom of feet. Sheets, blanket, and bed cover smelled like cigarettes. Towels had stains on them. Went to “free “ breakfast at 7 am. No one in the room. No food, no coffee. Guy behind desk said to use coffee in jugs and heat In microwave. I will never use Expedia again, and will never stay in a Days Inn

The room was clean and comfortable, but no coffee maker or microwave. The pool was so dirty we decided not to swim. The breakfast was ok, but there was no coffee and nothing was refilled in the 30 minutes I was there. Also, the area the hotel was located was not a safe place.

Upon arrival, the room smelt very wet and musky. The handle was falling off the bathroom door. The drains were plugged in the tub and the sink. The ring attaching the showerhead to the wall had fallen off. I had requested a paper bill upon checkout, the gal was unable to provide a printed bill. She stated because I booked it online that she was unable to provide that for me. That was a first. Breakfast provided was either cereal or yogurt nothing else. Wouldn't recommend.
Upon arrival, the room smelt very wet and musky. The handle was falling off the bathroom door. The drains were plugged in the tub and the sink. The ring attaching the showerhead to the wall had fallen off. I had requested a paper bill upon checkout, the gal was unable to provide a printed bill. She stated because I booked it online that she was unable to provide that for me. That was a first. Breakfast provided was either cereal or yogurt nothing else. Wouldn't recommend.

Staff was rude, didn’t clean the room for two days. And, when asked for sheets they had an attitude. It got to the point where they said they would clean the room, put new sheets on, and the man proceeded to just make the bed with the old sheets! They were rude to mostly everyone that came in!
