Beautiful recent restoration of hotel. An outstanding dinner one evening at LeMeurice restaurant. Breakfast was a disappointment (disliked the food preparation, e.g., soggy French toast, dry omelet, runny, blended scrambled eggs). Online declaration of no reservations for Bar 228 incorrect. As guests, turned away from the bar which had empty seating due to prior reservations.

This is one of the best hotels among many five star hotels I have stayed. Convenient location, nice decorations, rich history, accommodating staff, attendance to every details and spacious room. Bathroom is also quite a surprise.
