The hotel was in a great location and the property was clean and updated, but I ran into a few frustrating issues during my stay. First, at checkout, I noticed three unexpected mini bar charges—even though I hadn’t consumed the items. I had briefly removed a couple to check their nutrition labels and returned them untouched, yet I was still charged. This made me wonder if they use a sensor system that registers when items are moved. If so, what happens if a child takes everything out just to look? Are the parents still charged, even if nothing was consumed? I emailed the hotel for clarification but never received a response. We valeted our car, but the front desk made a mistake entering our valet ticket and never called for the car. Overall a good hotel choice for manhattan! A few smaller issues: tiny lobby with almost no seating area, feels claustrophobic, likely a typical manhattan hotel issue. Minibar is censured and full, no way to refrigerate anything such as water or anything you bring with you. Took long after 4pm to get the room, but we got nice rooms eventually.

Fabulous luxury hotel—stunning room, well-designed. Will stay again. However, elevators were not working resulting in LONG waits to get up and down from 29th floor. A savvy fellow guest led us to service elevator after waiting 20 minutes. Front desk was not nice (rude) but waiters and bellmen were helpful good people.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The front desk initially gave us a smaller room and didn’t let me know. She tried to pull it off like I made a reservation for the smaller room and just gave us a roll away bed. This would have provided sleeping options for 3 people when we had four. When I called registration, they service agent was very helpful and informed me that they had oversold the room I had requested, and said that they front desk should have upgraded me to a bigger room. The service agent then gave us a nice upgrade which made the stay much better. It was a little disappointing that the front desk tried to squeeze 4 people into a 2 person room at the start. I think it is a matter of be aware of your environment in New York to make sure someone is not hustling you or trying to pull one over on you. The gym was not functional and was under renovations. Other than these issue at the start, the rest of the stay was great. There were several great dining and shopping options since the hotel was situated in the midtown with just blocks away from Central Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue, and Rockefeller Center. The location was great.

Easy check in. Brought a fridge immediately. Room was spacious and as advertised. There was an issue with getting the car from valet. But the manager was very attentive and brought us over and handled the situation immediately.

Spent 4 days for Spring Break with my teens and found this hotel suite to be quite comfortable. Close to attractions but also to subway lines so getting around was easy. Felt safe and enjoyed the little touches offered like coffee in the lobby, champagne on the weekend and wine tasting before dinner in the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again even though I prefer staying Downtown.

Worst the experience I ever had at a 5 star hotel. Dirty and disgusting. Over charged and I had to ask for refund on the mini bar we never used and over charged on parking. Got my refund but will NEVER go again. Flies in the room and stains everywhere. Motel standards!

The hotel is close to Central Park, MoMA, Times square, etc. The hotel room was quiet enough despite its location and the view from my 47th floor was great. My room was not very clean on the first day as the hotel rooms were all sold out but housekeeping service from the second day was impeccable. The shower booth was spacious and the water was soft and warm without any sudden temperature change. The best part of this hotel is the two queen size beds in a bedroom -a rare choice in Manhattan!

Overall or stay was wonderful. Much quieter than we expected. My only complaint was that the shower tile had a hole in it and there was some mildew growing around the door in the shower. But I felt the room was clean just needs some maintenance attention.

This hotel is in a fantastic location - it makes so much of the city and it's attractions walkable. We got a great deal on our room, which was HUGE by NYC standards. The bed was very comfortable and the room overall felt very very clean. The only nit-picky issues we experienced were: 1. The room is showing wear and tear (stain on the carpet, stain on the curtain, mildew stains on the seam where the shower wall meets the tile). 2. The cleaning and restocking from housekeeping was not consistent. They did a great job, but the coffee supplies and glassware that was used was inconsistently restocked. We finally had to call to ask for it. Again, this is not a deal breaker, but if we had paid full price for our room, those types of 'misses' would not have been acceptable at the luxury pricepoint. The staff were always friendly and willing to help - however, there was a definitely a sense that this was more a 'mid tier' hotel for service rather than a 5 star luxury experience. Would definitely recommend as long as expectations and the price are in alignment.

The rooms are perfect for families. The pull out sofa was actually not terrible. The room service was amazing. The only down side is that our room smelled like it was moist and mildewed. Thank goodness the window opened otherwise I would’ve requested a different room. Not all the rooms smell that way because we had a park view room at first that smelled fine, but it wasn’t the room we booked so we had to go to a different room that smelled weird.

If you like large hotel rooms in NYC, you'll love this hotel. The rooms would be large by any standard in regular unpopulated cities so it was a surprise to get this much room in manhattan. Best part is the separation in the rooms - nice living space separate from the bedroom and closet to drop your bags and shoes, etc.

The staff were amazing. All very friendly + attentive. Room was clean and nice. Something was off with the thermostats as neither worked. We were only there for one night and the temp was fine for the most part. Great location to walk to a lot of places..

Had to wait almost 4 hours for our room even after arriving 2 hours after stated check in time. The room had a sofa bed we were utilizing and there were no cherts, blankets or pillows. We called twice and were told they would deliver them and they never did, we were so tired one person just slept in there clothes. Next day we asked again and they never even serviced the room and still no sheets or blankets. We were glad to check out and move on to our next stop.

Weren't able to check in until 5 hours past check in at 3pm. Over booked and lied about it saying the cleaning staff were slow and then gave us a room without the pullout sofa bed that we booked. They did take off the cheaper of the two nights but initially only wanted to comp us a dinner in the restaurant. Location is great and very spacious especially for a hotel room in NYC.

Door man met me immediately when I exited the taxi. He opened my door and said welcome. (he wore a hat). I felt welcomed after my long train ride. I was checked in immediately and went upstairs. I was so tired I ordered room service for dinner. Food arrived within 20 minutes. I was surprised it was so fast. Maid knocked on my door to turn down the bed. I felt like aa queen. Everyone was very nice. Went out of their way for everything.

Fabulous luxury hotel—stunning room, well-designed. Will stay again. However, elevators were not working resulting in LONG waits to get up and down from 29th floor. A savvy fellow guest led us to service elevator after waiting 20 minutes. Front desk was not nice (rude) but waiters and bellmen were helpful good people.

Some rooms are suites. clean, comfortable, modern and bright. concierge, restaurant and bar and brand new fitness facility. This will be my new go -to hotel in NY. loved it!!

Great location - rooms good, if a little pricey - the only disappointment was the bar/food eating area - very slow service, ok quality, waiters did seem to have issues understanding drink /food orders... The first suite had a broken thermostat and it was very hot. It took 5 calls over 4 hours to get the issue resolved and they moved us to another suite. The restaurant was a joke. The server was not interested in waiting on us. I ordered a hamburger and I specified I wanted it medium rare and it came well done! For $38 it should have been right. The server never came back and we had to hunt him down to get ketchup. The bill came and the service charge was added to the bill.( there were three adults and one child). Then there was a separate line for a gratuity! The service was nonexistent and the prices were exorbitant. The hotel was lovely once the room issues were resolved. I would recommend the hotel. Avoid the restaurant at all costs!

Spent 4 days for Spring Break with my teens and found this hotel suite to be quite comfortable. Close to attractions but also to subway lines so getting around was easy. Felt safe and enjoyed the little touches offered like coffee in the lobby, champagne on the weekend and wine tasting before dinner in the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again even though I prefer staying Downtown.
