This hotel is beautiful and small. On a quiet side street, it was well located. The buffet breakfast is mediocre at best, so I would suggest you eat elsewhere especially for the cost. The beds are very firm so if you're a side sleeper, you might want to keep that in mind. A back sleeper's dream! Loved that there was a Google Chrome on the TV so I could watch shows in my local language. Staff was very helpful. I had a 90 minute Jet Lag massage which was incredible. If I had time to have another one, I would have.

Les services n'étaient pas au rendez-vous d'un 4 étoiles à Paris, nous avons pu discuté avec le personnel mais la politique de l'hôtel est très surprenante, voici les réponses que nous avons reçues : - Pas de peignoir en chambre classique (alors que ce service est indiqué dans les services de l'hôtel), il a fallu les réclamer sinon ils ne sont pas fournis aux clients. - Minibar vide pour inciter les clients à se rendre au bar de l'hôtel mais ouvert de 16h30 en semaine à minuit donc aucune boisson disponible dans votre chambre en dehors des horaires du bar. - Netflix (indiqué sur Hôtel.com) sur votre abonnement personnel et non sur celui de l'hôtel. Chambre propre et literie très confortable. Très grand manque de rangement: une étroite penderie avec 5 cintres et 2 étagères très en hauteur. Pas de porte-manteau, ni de porte valise dans l'entrée. Pas de porte serviette dans la salle de bain - seuls 2 petits crochets. Petit-déjeuner varié et copieux. Salle de repas petite pour le nombre de clients le matin. Hôtel bien situé pour visiter Paris. Great boutique hotel in Central Paris (6e near Montparnasse). We loved everything about this hotel from the counter free open concept lobby that doubles as a café and bar. The billiard room that doubles as a breakfast buffet. The courtyard is perfect for enjoying breakfast or a late afternoon coffee. The bar was my second office and the staff were always friendly and accessible. The rooms were well laid out and comfortable. The showers were amazing. The Nespresso machine with free capsules was appreciated although I would recommend carnation creamers to avoid having to go down to the bar for milk. My only complaint was the temperature; They kept the temperature too hot and stuffy for my liking. No matter how much you lowered the thermostat it spit out hot air so we had to leave the window open and around 5am the incessant garbage trucks woke us up. Final minor suggestion would be to have more snack options at the bar. Merci beaucoup Aris et Clémence pour tout votre service.

This was our first time staying at the Victoria Palace Hotel and we were not disappointed! Lovely touch of recognizing it was a special birthday, with a beautiful note in our room. Great to also always have hotel staff always available. Most specifically was the attention to care and detail we received from the manager Allan. Throughout our stay, we observed Allan interacting with other guests, and it was evident that he went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. His warm demeanor and willingness to assist with any request truly made a difference in creating a positive atmosphere at the hotel. In addition to his managerial skills, Allan also demonstrated a deep knowledge of the local area, providing insightful recommendations for places to visit and dine. His passion for hospitality was contagious, and it was evident that he played a key role in fostering a culture of excellence among the hotel staff. Overall, our experience at Victoria Palace was nothing short of exceptional. They also offered spots to book for free to use their sauna and gym. Great hotel that is on a quiet sidestreet just steps away from a main road with bars, subway, etc. The quiet street was awesome to get away from the business of Paris, but still not far to get anywhere. Hotel was very clean, room was a bit small but think that is normal for Paris. Cafe across the street was our oasis. Amazing Pizza and breakfast. The hotel bar was cool too, and the hotel breakfast was the most extravagant buffet I've seen. Expensive breakfast, but worth it. After a long flight, the Sauna was amazing. Clean and a very nice facility. Overall, great home base for Paris and no major issues.

Just spent 3 pleasant nights at this boutique hotel, it is absolutely a lovely stay. The hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient to go & from the airport, Norte-dame, the trendy shops in district 6, restaurants & cafe, quiet & safe to walk around. The hotel itself is tastefully renovated, with great attention to details, room very quiet & comfortable, a cute private gym & sauna. Hotel staff are very pleasant & helpful. I travel extensively around the world, usually prefer boutique, calm, upscale attentive places. If that’s what you are looking for in Paris, I think you will love this place.

Really clean and new. Great location near Montparnasse off of main boulevard Rue de Rennes (makes it an easy direct 0.5 mile to Les Deux Magots, the Seine) but on a quieter side street. Great details like: Nespresso, empty fridge, designer Grown Alchemist toiletries sustainable (refillable) sizes, wood slat paneling, soft plush slippers, rich colors, USB ports (so no adapters needed), but most impressive, the staff there are exceptional. Very friendly and helpful, particularly Louise and Marie Claire. They provided a real warmth to what can be a chilly Paris atmosphere. There are tons of Paris hotels but I definitely would stay here again

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel a few years back, I was sorely disappointed in the service and cleanliness. For a hotel that markets itself as a “luxury boutique” hotel, I was shocked to find the staff sitting in a coworking space (designed for guests) adjacent to the entry rather than standing to greet guests in the reception area. There was no concierge and no bell boy to help me with my bags. The hotel’s excuse was that as a 4-star hotel they are not required to have a concierge. This is absurd. I have been to 4-star hotel with Golden Key concierge staff (the highest level of training possible). Needless to say, don’t expect help from the hotel staff to make dinner reservations, print out the train schedule, or help you with your bags. You’re on your own at Victoria Palace. Furthermore, while I like the decor, the cleaning is subpar, as there was mold in my shower and stains on the carpet. This once lustrous hotel has seen better days—and better service!

pb de service de ménage , malgré demandes et panneaux , impossible d avoir la chambre propre quand on rentre l après-midi midi… et si on redemande en rentrant , une heure d attente et réflexion , sur un hotel de ce niveau et une chambre supérieure, cela est parfaitement gênant … y descendant régulièrement je pense éventuellement regarder d autres établissements

Disappointed ..they forgot to change the towels because they were hanging on the hangers, so next day I had to throw used towels on the floor to make sure they replaced it with fresh ones. Location is horrible too. Not as much dining around, everything is to far got to use a metro to even get some decent breakfast. Metro is not that close either..

Hotel itself was nice and clean but we had a room on the first floor and it was so noisy. We were woken up at 7am both mornings to a loading dock across the street. There’s also a bustling cafe with lots of people during the day time. I would recommend this hotel, as long as you don’t stay on the first floor.

The junior suite was very nice, quite charming actually. It's just that the mattress was so firm it was hard, and in my partners case, impossible to sleep on. I mean really firm lol, otherwise I would give them a 5 star rating.

Lovely boutique hotel with easy access to everything. Great transport links, 13 stops from Gare Du Nord. Although our room was very small, it is well designed, fully equipped and beautifully decorated plus had a view of the Eiffel Tower. Staff are extremely friendly. Lovely boutique hotel with easy access to everything. Great transport links, 13 stops from Gare Du Nord. Although our room was very small, it is well designed, fully equipped and beautifully decorated plus had a view of the Eiffel Tower. Staff are extremely friendly. Our room was tiny. No closet space. No where to store our bags so couldn’t move around the room. Felt very cramped. Nice hotel. Staff was pleasant. One bartender was just rude and grumpy. The other, a law student, was very pleasant and accommodating while my husband was sick. Overall, a nice hotel, good location. But due to the room, we felt cramped and wouldn’t have liked a bit my room. Know this is Paris but could have been designed better.

Loved this boutique hotel! Very quiet. The windows are soundproof. You’ll think it’s quiet outside. Rooms are perfectly designed so it doesn’t seem small. The only suggestion I’d like to make is the sanitizer needs to be put in prettier bottles. They kill the vibe of perfection. It didn’t ruin my experience, just want this place to stay perfect forever and ever. :) love love love this hotel

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, including with family and for business. It's always been great but this was my least favourite of my stays, unfortunately. We ended up in a very poky room (all the others I'd stayed in were nicer) and it felt like it needed some TLC compared to previous years (fixtures were wobbly, paint peeling away, etc). One of my absolute favourite things about this hotel however, was just how friendly the staff were. They would always welcome us back and even remember little things. This time was completely different, the only communication taking place being the obligatory check-in talk. Shame as we were deliberating on another hotel this time but choose here out of loyalty and past experiences. I do like Victoria Palace very much so I'm hoping they return top their previous standards soon!

We feel very lucky to have found the Victoria Palace Hotel! The location is wonderful and access to the Paris metro is less than 2 blocks away. We asked for, and were lucky enough to receive, an incredible room with a balcony overlooking the surrounding neighborhood. What a wonderful place to start and end our day! The room itself was very clean, quiet, and well-appointed, and the hotel staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Victoria Palace Hotel. While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel a few years back, I was sorely disappointed in the service and cleanliness. For a hotel that markets itself as a “luxury boutique” hotel, I was shocked to find the staff sitting in a coworking space (designed for guests) adjacent to the entry rather than standing to greet guests in the reception area. There was no concierge and no bell boy to help me with my bags. The hotel’s excuse was that as a 4-star hotel they are not required to have a concierge. This is absurd. I have been to 4-star hotel with Golden Key concierge staff (the highest level of training possible). Needless to say, don’t expect help from the hotel staff to make dinner reservations, print out the train schedule, or help you with your bags. You’re on your own at Victoria Palace. Furthermore, while I like the decor, the cleaning is subpar, as there was mold in my shower and stains on the carpet. This once lustrous hotel has seen better days—and better service!

It was fine. We have stayed in St Germaine before in better areas . Everything is almost 20 minute walk but to get to the bridge and cross the river. Hotel was nice nobody went out of their way to make it feel like a top notch hotel and the prices were well above average hotel. The staff were completely indifferent to any issues that impacted our stay. We booked the sauna for 1 hour and after 15 minutes we were told to leave because another family had a reservation for the same hour. Staff member gaslighted us when we informed her we had booked it the night before. The next morning we informed the front desk that there wasn’t any hot water in the shower. She informed us she was aware that there was a problem and proceeded to go on about her business. Hot water issue wasn’t resolved and we checked out. Staff members can been seen daily, preoccupied on their laptops in an adjacent room next to the lobby. We will avoid this place in the future.

Used to be a regular client. Not anymore Some of the staff is really good and knows the job requirements while others are students learning with guests. Had a very bad experience these last 2 times, and didn’t find that the manager was up to the level. Still, regardless the manager, and some trainees, they have some of the best people in hospitality I met in Paris. A weird cocktail of both professionalism and incompetence. Wish they will be back to what they offered when they relaunched and till 2 years ago.

Best hotel and service I've EVER received. The gentleman named Areski went above and beyond for my stay he upgraded my room, added breakfast and much more all because it was my birthday. The rest of the staff were nothing but kind and helpful I'd highly reccomend anyone to stay here they really made my time in Paris special and unforgettable. Thank you to everyone.

Les services n'étaient pas au rendez-vous d'un 4 étoiles à Paris, nous avons pu discuté avec le personnel mais la politique de l'hôtel est très surprenante, voici les réponses que nous avons reçues : - Pas de peignoir en chambre classique (alors que ce service est indiqué dans les services de l'hôtel), il a fallu les réclamer sinon ils ne sont pas fournis aux clients. - Minibar vide pour inciter les clients à se rendre au bar de l'hôtel mais ouvert de 16h30 en semaine à minuit donc aucune boisson disponible dans votre chambre en dehors des horaires du bar. - Netflix (indiqué sur Hôtel.com) sur votre abonnement personnel et non sur celui de l'hôtel. Chambre propre et literie très confortable. Très grand manque de rangement: une étroite penderie avec 5 cintres et 2 étagères très en hauteur. Pas de porte-manteau, ni de porte valise dans l'entrée. Pas de porte serviette dans la salle de bain - seuls 2 petits crochets. Petit-déjeuner varié et copieux. Salle de repas petite pour le nombre de clients le matin. Hôtel bien situé pour visiter Paris. Very nice stay for our first time in Paris. The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. Room service was also very good, to include very very good pizza. The breakfast was pretty light and not really worth it in my opinion, but I believe French culture does not really eat heavy breakfast like Americans do, this is to be expected in a different country for different norms. Still, very clean and organized. Where this hotel shines is the luxurious rooms, amenity spaces, and very top notch food available for room service. A bar was also available but I didn’t experience it. The surrounding areas of the hotel are also very nice to include some great food and shopping within 30 minutes of walking distance. I would highly recommend for tourist and local residents. The staff also speaks English very well so it was a little easier to communicate as a foreigner.

Everything about this hotel was great I have no complaints about the stay. The only criticism would be the cost of breakfast for what it is and drinking at the bar. The breakfast is ok at beast for $22 € I expect a lot more than overcooked scrambled eggs and mini croissants. There is more I just don’t think it’s worth listing. As for drinks €12-€15 fora shot of spirts when I can buy a bottle for the cost of 3 shots. Ok at a top end bar but this is not. This is my only downside to my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We really liked the location, walking distance to all the sites we wanted to see. Plus a great little tapas bar and restaurant nearby. The lady behind the bar is great for creating cocktails according to your taste.
