We had a fabulous stay. The best thing was the friendly staff and a delicious breakfast which was included with our stay. We also had dinner which was reasonable and very nice and I liked that we could order through a IPad if you wanted. The swimming pool was lovely too but it was a shame that it was shut so much due to swimming lessons in the morning and early evening; especially as this was when we wanted to go swimming. I also loved the late check out at noon as well. Overall a great stay. Thank you!

All staff friendly and quick service for evening meal . Order from table tablet was great! Breakfast had wide range of choice from cold and hot buffet. Would stay again. Only issue I have is the £12 parking but I was aware of that before I booked. Pool was great and no time restriction for kids. Nice little steam room too. Would happily stay again.

The hotel has been refurbished since my last stay and the renovation is lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive, Modern, comfortable rooms, dining area and the luxury of a Starbucks coffee bar on site made a very pleasant stay. The shuttle bus to the train station and NEC was great.

Travelling from the north it was easy enough to get to. There is parking available directly outside the hotel (£12 night) but there is also parking in the NEC building around the corner. Lovely clean, welcoming entrance and welcome drinks at the reception desk. Which was nice as we usually only see this abroad. Our rooms were on the ground floor. The single standard was just that, a single standard. Clean, compact, all the usual amenities. The 4 bed suite was surprisingly gorgeous. A good layout with the partioning wall. The bathroom, towels and bedding looked very clean. The coffee machine was a nice touch which uplifted the whole experience (there is a kettle in the room for tea drinkers too) cleaning staff are super helpful and friendly. Some of the reception staff would benefit from better customer service training. The manager and duty manager on the day were brilliant. The staff in general were helpful and courteous. They would benefit from looking a little more kemp and smarter in their attire. The pool and gym were brilliant. Clean and available at most times of the day. I would book this hotel again.

Excellent hotel with good menu choices. Need to publish details of how to get from airport/BHI much better on the booking details. Had to get the public bus & didn’t really know which one & where to get off. Just say X1 to Birmingham & Cargo Terminal stop would have saved me a lot of uncertainty.

Personally I found this experience awful paying for a room then paying extra for parking understandable if there was no parking eg if the hotel was in a city centre bit additional charge to parking is rip off My stay I was literally there for 3 hours checked in rewind Alittle and was about to shower before bed untill I got into the shower and realised there has been a left shaving blade which put me off staying so unhygienic I immediately left. Handing the keys back did let the manager aware on my way out but they offcourse as usual only good to say sorry

We had a lovely stay and staff were very helpful and kids. However the rooms needed a little bit more attention to detail. The wall near the main door was black with dirty handprints and the mattress was so thin on the sofa bed my children were in tears as they could feel the metal bars underneath. The pool and chamging rooms were lovely and clean whixh was fab.

The room was overall dirty and not well cared about! Although this seems not to be a one time issue since there was not only issues like a not very clean hand sink or still hair from the last customer in my bed. But also the corners on the floor and carpet very dusty and dirty. Also the wallpaint was used und dirty! Further more we tried the Restaurant. It took the personal 10 minutes to pickup the ready Burges from the kitchen, where they were placed below a lamp to keep them warm. The food was dry an not good in taste!

The first room I was given 103 had stains on the bedsheets white stains, don’t even want to know where that is from. The second room I was given 226 the toilet flush was broken and the blue light in the bathroom kept flickering. Was very disappointed. The breakfast was great anlso on till 11am, and also loved the fact you have blind out curtains. The bed was comfortable enough

The welcome from the front desk team was lovely and was generally the high service level we got from the staff at the hotel. We booked a suite as we hadn’t been away for a while and we’re going to an event at the NEC. Unfortunately there was nothing salubrious about the “suite”. The door itself looked like someone had tried to break in and was really poorly fixed. The furniture was very worn, fully of stains, the carpet was poorly hoovered and a lot of items in the room lighting didn’t work. They had a footer on the bed which we put on the floor as it looked like something had been spilled on it. (Being generous here if that was at home I would have burned it ) The bathroom was averagely clean with spit marks up the mirror and a shower floor and door which needed a really good scrub. I cleaned the basin down myself before using. There was one set of tea and coffee and we struggled to get more from The people doing the rooms the next day. The people tending the rooms are quite noisy so we woke both days to the noise of carts and shouting down the hall. So room and experience in room was a flat 3/10 there was no luxury in the suite. This was reflected in the hallways with carpeted areas that looked like they needed a good hoover, wipe and paint The breakfast was really nice and with the most lovely staff and super attentive a complete opposite to the room. Parking is good but chargeable.

We booked a room for 4 people, and were presented with a double sized sofa bed and king size bed. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and had a think mattress which meant you could feel the centre metal bar. Also, the sofa bed was uneven.

I stayed for 1 night as I was close to my place of work but my room was at the back of the hotel, so all night I could hear some sort of noise like a large boiler was rumbling outside. Also the air con wall controller kept turning off as it was on some sort of timer. The staff didn’t know how to resolve this issue

Paying for parking is a real annoyance. I get it, people who are not resident should pay, but fleecing another £24 out of me on top of the high priced rooms is annoying. Food is frankly crap. Very few menu choices on horrible little terminals, missing fundamental condiments like English mustard. Rooms were either freezing or too hot. The heating in the room does nothing till you set it to 25+ degrees, then starts to warm up a bit before heating it to thermonuclear before you know it. Breakfast is OK but slow. All in all a very poor showing by what is supposed to be a premier brand. The Holiday Inn express down the road is better, cleaner and more personal

It was a nice, comfortable stay for a night with family. Close to the Birmingham airport and NEC (10 mins drive). The room size was good; however, the bathroom was very small, and the shower cubicle was old. Breakfast however at the hotel was very good with plenty of options and quality of food was good

Stayed overnight with husband and adult daughter to be near to airport for early flight. We stayed in a suite with a double bed and sofa bed for my daughter. Whilst the double bed was very comfortable the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, very lumpy and she could feel the springs. The noise from the other guests was horrendous, the walls were paper thin and the other guests on our corridor, consisting of families etc we so noisy, children and adults shouting and banging, it was dreadful, none of us had a good sleep and would have had more sleep if we had stayed at home and got up the extra earlier time for our flight. Wouldn't stay here again.

Frustrating stay - the hotel itself was very nice and the room was well equipped, modern and clean. However, it’s marketed as an ‘airport hotel’ - aka a place people book to stay when they have an early flight. We booked as we needed to be up at 2am, however, there was a very, very loud party on until after midnight. I don’t complain and I dont exaggerate, it felt like being on the Ayia Napa strip. There wasn’t any communication from the hotel about the party, if there was we would have moved to an alternative location as we got about 1.5 hours of sleep before a long day of travel.

The level of service at this hotel is 5 star. We stayed the night before a flight from the airport. We used the hotel shuttle bus to do the Jet2 twilight check-in before returning to the hotel to have family meal in the restaurant. The staff could not have done enough to make this journey as easy as possible. Everyone we spoke to in the team were incredibly pleasant and made our stay special and personal. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The staff in the restaurant were so lovely and it made for a memorable and relaxed evening. We would definitely recommend this hotel when travelling from Birmingham airport. The experience was a great start to our holiday and we will return.

We had to book here last minute with the fire at Heathrow to fly out of Birmingham. They were very accommodating and so helpful. They had a ton of people book last second and even though they were very busy, they took the time to help us in a time of need. Thank you! Would definitely recommend.

Parking was inadequate, I had to try 3 spaces to find one that fit my car and I was worried about my car being dented due to how small the spaces were. Checking in took ages, I assume I got caught behind a bus of people from the airport, but because of this it took an hour to check in. Topping it all off, I was awakened by a fire alarm. In all, just a lot of little issues that alone might not have been a big deal, but all together not a nice combination.

Not a great experience. Staff not properly able to handle large groups. Disappointed re Residents Bar / food which Closed at 1.00 am without notice,and were referred to room service which was literally cold drinks and cold sandwiches from a Starbucks fridge. Duty manager was good and tried to help but his hands were tied. Some staff were very unprofessional and didn't know how to handle customers, some were arrogant and really need to brush up on their customer service skills. I came to this place a couple of years ago and it was 10 times better before with more attentive staff. Overall, we spent a substantial amount of money, but the level of service was not worth the price.

Overnight crew stay for airport. Hotel as you would expect at this price level and company. Breakfast was good selection,quality and tasty but dinner was little disappointing menu wise and the ordering system was odd. Felt a bit canteen/cafe like instead of hotel restaurant.

We had a really great stay. All the staff within the hotel were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and the pool area was very clean with a nice temperature. We enjoyed a nice evening meal in the restaurant which had a varied menu as did the childrens menu which gave a choice of 2 or 3 courses and these came free with a paying adult which was an added bonus. The buffet breakfast also offered a good range of hot and cold food. My 2 boys were sad to leave and have asked when we can visit again. Thank you

Just stayed for 1 night, but arrived early morning, managed to get early check in for an additional fee, we had an executive room, so had sitting area and king bed, we used room service for food which was fast, food was hot and tastey, staff were friendly and approachable, breakfast was lovely good variety of hot and cold items and chefs constantly refilling,

The on table ordering of food and drinks, via a tablet, is very impersonal and very much lacking the human element. Disappointed. Food and human delivery was good. Parking was lucky as most spaces already taken but a car moved just as I arrived.

Warm feeling as soon as we walked in. Room was immaculate Only the breakfast was very disappointing Paid for breakfast but being on early flight only continental was available, and food wasn't worth the money .
