The Staff was professional and courteous. The rooms were clean and good size. It was quite and close to hospital and shopping and restaurants. The bed was comfortable. However there isn't a gym or a pool, but a pleasant stay.

The hotel was very clean but the beds were sunken in. The breakfast was lacking in options and the gravy for biscuits tasted sour. There was only one waffle maker so we ended up just eating cereal and bagels two days in a row. We also had a member of our party who needed to use the "business center". It was a tablet on a stand- not really ideal for getting stuff done. The hotel was cheap, and in this case, we got what we paid for.

They’re completing renovations and had lots of cabinets, furniture in the hallways. Even with that the rooms were quite nice and newly furnished. Very quiet night and close to the University. Many food options available near by. $30-$40 less than other hotels in the area. Definitely worth it for a nights stay.

It is a ‘dog friendly’ hotel, that charges $25 a night per dog and does not have a doggy relief area. The breakfast was good. There were biscuits with gravy and a waffle station. The beds were comfortable.

The room was clean and it is pet friendly for an extra $25 fee. That said, there aren't any available pet poo bags and people don't seem to care about picking up after their pets, so if you are walking outside watch your step. The breakfast was average at best. I was expecting more but ended up with cereal as it was the only thing that tasted as it should. I'm not sure what they did to the coffee, but it was horrible.

I had to kill cockroaches on the wall and by the sink. It’s hard to get a good sleep after because you feel like they are in your sheets. After getting home I had to go through my bags to make sure non came home with me. I showed a picture to the staff at check out so they knew.

Friendly staff, and once into the room it was clean, comfortable and updated . There a lot of noise in the halls and people smoking pot in the parking lot until after midnight. The elevator was filthy and smelled and the hall carpets were very dirty. It was ok for the price and for a short stopover, but had some significant negatives. I might stay again but maybe not as a first choice.

I’m not really sure how this property has scored such high reviews but I will say you definitely get what you pay for here. Stained sheets, grungy carpet, walls and interior surfaces are all just painted over but still in disrepair. Non friendly welcome and all just so fatter of fact, toilet doesn’t flush and when you hold down the handle it threatens to overflow and never fully empty. Noisy property due to being extremely close to the highway which can’t be helped. I’m coming back next week again for work but will be staying elsewhere. If you just need a place to lay your head I guess this is better than sleeping in your car.

The staff was very friendly! The bed was very nice! Our room seemed to be newly updated. Overall very clean except I happened to notice what appeared to be soda splatters on the under side of the lamp shade, I can’t say I would ever notice that in my own house. My biggest issue was the humidity in the room. Everything felt damp, including the blankets. Even after running the air all night things still felt damp. It was fine for the price.

The food was cold, there were no plastic utensils, condiments were missing, we never saw a staff person checking on anything. Hotel room doors were poorly attached so you could see light around the frame, hallway carpet was dirty looking, our toilet plugged up with regular use and we were told there was no maintenance person there and were given a plunger to handle it ourselves instead of offering to move us to a different room.

Buyer beware. You get what you pay for. My air conditioner was loud and ran constantly (literally did not stop), the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down and poorly repaired, the bathroom had lots of water damage to boot! Then the “complimentary breakfast” lacked anything resembling a compliment! The toaster was not working and the gent at the desk couldn’t be bothered with it over the phone call, the waffle maker was not at temperature by 8:30, and the only hot food was instant eggs and sausage and biscuits. However, the plus side is that it rained and we stayed dry (we were on the second floor). Again, you get what you pay for!

Nice and quiet. Thick towels. I would have liked the shower to engage properly. A great deal of water poured into the tub not the shower head. Minor issue. May I suggest an additional curtain on the window. The neighboring light was a bit distracting.

I checked in nearly at midnight after driving all day. There was very limited parking, the outside is not inviting at all, I walked inside and it seemed to be one big party, very loud for midnight. I checked in and was given a room key. I opened the door to my room and there was a naked man laying in the bed. They clearly gave me a room that they’d already checked out. The guy at the front desk apologized and gave me a new room. The halls needed vacuumed and smelled. My room was alright except for the fridge that was making sounds all night. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Not sure how this had an 8/10 rating.

We stayed in a Baymont for the 1st time 2 days ago and were so pleasantly surprised, we stayed at this one along our route. This one in Columbia was equally nice. The rooms are super clean and the beds are wonderful, including the pillows. Everything worked well. This morning, the fire alarm went off around 8. Heather, the hotel manager, did a superb job managing the guests and fire department through it. We have a pick-up pulling a trailer.and there was still ample parking. My hat's off to you guys!

Staff was rare to find. We waited 30 minutes for someone to get our key when we arrived. When she did finally show up there were no apologies. It felt like we were bothering her. At breakfast there was no one around to refill eggs or bread. The hotel had an unpleasant odor. On the good side, the bed was very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent.

Great hotel, very clean, the traffic from I-70 can be a bit noisy as well as the footsteps; however, the room is excellent and clean as well as the bathroom. Hope to return soon! Very close to the mall as well

All the hot food at the breakfast was cold, the coffee was from a machine and was the worse coffee I have ever had, literally. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the heating unit was quiet and effective. The hotel is beside the freeway and traffic noise was pretty loud.

When there’s a black long hair on your pillow, that’s the moment when you know you should have booked something else. Towels showed stains. Sheets were stained as well. That’s why I always travel with my sleeping bag. Coffee was awful, and so was the entire breakfast room. Guests running around bare feet. Nope. No. No. No.
