Super 8 by Wyndham Columbia East

The front desk was rarely staffed. I had to wait on someone the few times I needed assistance. The room had a noticeable unpleasant odor the duration of the two night stay, but otherwise the accommodations appeared acceptable for the price point. The disapoint hot breakfast included a waffle maker and a toaster with a loaf of store bought white bread close by. I asked the front desk to refresh my towels before I left in the morning. First, when I returned my card no longer worked and i had to getva replacement. Also, the used towels were never refreshed. The used towels were still on the floor after I had been gone all day. The comforter was as thin as a sheet; I did not notice there was a blanket tucked away in the closed until the morning of checkout. Most things are just a fact of staying at a budget hotel; things happen. What us not tolerable is pests. The morning of checkout I saw a roach when I flipped on the bathroom light. While i was checking the bed to make sure I didnt leave anything I noticed something on the white sheets. It appeared to be the tiny brown fecal spots left by bed bugs. When I arrive at home I now have to do extra work to guarantee I did not bring home guests!

Not a great hotel. Met our needs, but nothing "Fancy" for sure.

Property hasn't been kept up. Phone did not work for wake up call. Half of TV channels didn't work. Linen had old look Breakfast was poor.

The room was ok. Did see a bug in the bathroom.

Stinky, ants, horrible bedding (not clean) and not comfortable. Would def not walk around without shoes here.
