I was recently stuck in the left elevator for 30 minutes, and despite my attempts to call emergency services, there was no response. This is an unacceptable situation that needs to be addressed immediately as it could have potentially been a dangerous situation. It is essential that all elevators are properly maintained and functioning correctly at all times for safety reasons.

great hotel....location was awesome for concert across in silver works island ...5 min walk ...hotels buffet breakfast was delicious with so much options from cereals,cold meats ,mouth watering pastry selection and hot breakfast options ..also had good decent workout from gym room facilities...staff were friendly and helpful and overall I will definitely be returning on my nxt visit to London..trains into city are bout 10 min walk from hotel and a fun way to explore and get about London so even though hotel is not in city centre it's so easy to get in and out by train so this wasn't an issue but made exploring the city more fun

The hotel itself was fine, and the staff at the desk were great. The big issue was parking. We drove 2 hours from outside of London and had booked the hotel.as parking was available. Due to an event at excel, no parking was available, anywhere. Like we had to drive a couple of miles away and find paid street parking and leave our car there. We then went into London and had to go back to collect the car at almost midnight. The front desk did give us complimentary parking after to compensate for the cost which softened the blow. The hotel itself was nice and clean and the room was good. One of the elevators was out of order which meant getting to or from the room took ages as they are tiny, and we were on the 5th floor. Breakfast was ok, but a fairly small selection and finding plates was a challenge. To add to that, we had guests running down the halls at midnight.making loads of noise. Not really the hotels fault, but added to the overall bad experience. For a £250 overnight stay, it was pretty poor. I don't think I'd stay again. Without parking reserved for guest use, it's too much of a gamble.

My girlfriend and I recently had the pleasure of staying at DoubleTree by Hilton for one night in a standard room, booked to celebrate her 30th birthday. Prior to our arrival, I discreetly emailed the hotel to mention the special occasion, and to my absolute delight, we were greeted at check-in with the incredible news that we had been upgraded to a deluxe suite overlooking the stunning London skyline! The room itself was absolutely excellent – very modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. It truly made the occasion feel even more special. The thoughtful touches didn't stop there; we were also welcomed with two complimentary cookies, two free drinks, and two bottles of water. To top it all off, our car park fee was waived, and we received a 15% meal voucher (though we didn't get a chance to use it this time!). A massive shout-out and heartfelt thank you must go to Irene who orchestrated this fantastic surprise for us. Her attention to detail and generosity made our stay truly memorable. The hotel itself is very modern and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout. For those looking to explore, transport to central London is incredibly convenient, with tube stations readily available and a journey time of around 20-30 minutes. As an EV owner, I particularly appreciated the hotel's EV charging facilities. Taking advantage of the waived parking fee, I was able to recharge my car at a very reasonable 59p per kWh, costing only around £18 overall. Would come again

My stay was very nice. The hotel is perfectly situated right across the bridge from the O2 which is where i was going for my concert. The young man at the desk changed my room to one with a view of the local airport which i loved! I got to see planes land and take off right from my bed, buses and cars ride over the bridge and people kayaking in the water. My first night i had fish and chips and all the fixings along with a Caesar salad, everything was great! I tried the breakfast on my last morning and it was a great spread for everyone, they even had vegan sausage and options if you wanted to have a traditional English breakfast without eating me. The gym is small, but usable. The manager came in while i was working out, he told me that they are going to be doing a refab of the space. I have a suggestion of them getting a rower. Overall my stay was very nice. I will say my last 24 hours i was without wifi. I called the front desk at least 4 times and no one answered the phone, so I was unable to get that taken care of. I did mention it upon check out because i wanted to know if it was hotel wide. The young lady said the internet was working fine and it must have been the signal in my room. As a Hilton honors member i should have internet for my entire stay, and I did not.

Hotel is nice and lovely to stay. Only downside was the plates and bowls in breakfast area were dirty and not cleaned properly. All staff working in the breakfast area on Saturday and Sunday for some reason seemed very miserable and not even one had a smile on their faces.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was great (we visited during a heatwave). 20 minutes into the center of London on the DLR, but also great restaurant and bar on premises plus another pub next door. So convenient to LCY. Can recommend highly!

The shower was dirty, one of the receptionists cut me off when I was speaking to them on the phone - the gentleman who checked me in was lovely and helpful and daisy who I spoke to at check out was really nice. When we got to the room I noticed there was already a hole in the wall so I notified someone on reception so that I didn't get charged for it and he just completely dismissed my comment so I notified daisy upon check out who acknowledged it and made note of it on the system which should have been done when I first reported it. The bathroom was not very clean and the non slip mat had dried blood or something on it

Our room was exceptionally clean. The air con wouldn’t turn off which was a nuisance and we did report it. They tried to fix it but couldn’t. The coffee machine didn’t work properly either as the pods wouldn’t pierce so it kept giving me cups of water. Fortunately there was a kettle too so I used that instead. The bathroom was spotless!

The staff at this hotel are really lovely and helpful, offering a very warm welcome and generally a good level of hospitality throughout the stay. The rooms aren't particularly well updated (the net curtain in my room looked very aged, the bed wasn't very comfortable, there was no hook on the wall for damp coats etc) but they are kept very clean by the housekeeping team. The hotel itself is moderately difficult and confusing to access on foot from public transport as it is currently not accessible via the Excel centre, which made my stay a bit more arduous than I planned for, and I would be a little hesitant to advise those with disabilities and/or physical access requirements to stay here unless travelling by car. The food is also a little subpar - the breaktast isn't very good, and it seemed like the kitchen and wait staff had difficulty keeping up with demand on a busy weekend morning, as almost none of the continental buffet was kept replenished whilst I was in the dining area.

Very expensive for what you get. Water was correct, but also a view of a building site. Room was badly designed. Several different sets of lights all controlled by one small switch. No reading lamp. Only get water form your first night. For £220 a night I'd at least expect water both nights. And those annoying towels that put fluffy on everything. Why can't hotels get decent towels!!!

There was no fridge in the room to keep water or milk cold or any other drinks for that matter. All Hilton hotels should provide a fridge in the rooms i paid £195 a night for a deluxe room really not happy about that. I expected a fridge in my room and having to pay a charge to have food in my room not expectable. Also the lighting in the room and bathroom is bad. that needs looking at. We had people on the river with a drone looking in our room not good either. Also I told the cleaner that i did not need her to clean my room or empty the bin. To my surprise when I came back from restaurant to order food, I found her in my room why ? I already told her not to worry many times - if a customer says no then they should respect that.

I tried the breakfast on my last morning and it was a great spread for everyone, they even had vegan sausage and options if you wanted to have a traditional English breakfast without eating me. The gym is small, but usable. The manager came in while i was working out, he told me that they are going to be doing a refab of the space. I have a suggestion of them getting a rower. Overall my stay was very nice. I will say my last 24 hours i was without wifi. I called the front desk at least 4 times and no one answered the phone, so I was unable to get that taken care of. I did mention it upon check out because i wanted to know if it was hotel wide. The young lady said the internet was working fine and it must have been the signal in my room. As a Hilton honors member i should have internet for my entire stay, and I did not.

Hotel was great, good location. No details about parking on Expedia site, parked in the nearby ExCel centre. We would have parked at the Hilton if we knew. Walk along the dock wasn’t allowed due to construction work. Notification about this was lacking added hassle to our journey to the O2. Room was really nice and hotel was super clean, neat and tidy so overall we were very happy with our stay!

Hotel is near the excel centre. I booked the wrong one but it was only a short distance from the one I thought I booked Hotel rooms are a bit tired. Beds comfortable . Shower leaked all over the floor apart from that all good. Reception staff were helpful however the bar staff were sullen and clearly unhappy in their work. The bar food is reheated and dreadful. I had a burger that I could have solved my shoe with and the chips were awful. The ones on top had been arranged to make them look good but the ones underneath were reheated and inedible. Hilton , if you are not going to serve freshly prepared food, don't bother. Breakfast was good enough food and the staff were attentive. Overall a good enough stay blighted only by the bar food.

its was great for us as we were going to the 02 but the staff were excellent every member we spoke to were brilliant and a credit to the hotel chain. Also the breakfast were awesome really tasty and plenty of choice overall we really enjoyed our stay so thank you.

Check-in was fine. Room was disappointing. Paid around £680 for 2 nights. Toilet paper disintegrates when you use it, and as a women it was disgusting every time I had to use the loo. I don't even know what they call their pillows, it's ridiculous. Their coffee bags are basically for show as the coffee just leaks out (then they charge you around £10 for 2 flat whites out of the breakfast coffee machine). The restaurant is overpriced and most of the food just tastes microwaved. Really poor.
