Quick and easy check-in. The hotel smelt so clean and fresh. My room & bathroom was clean, spacious; the décor was stylish. Alot of plugs for electronic devices. There was a full kitchen to cook, quiet environment. Parking lot was quiet and well lighted.

Nice, quiet, clean room. Staff was friendly, not overfriendly. Good laundry room and snack machine and little store was convenient. Unlimited coffee was really good. Hallways and elevator floors need to be more cleaner. Overall great weekly stay for the price.

The rooms and hotel are absolutely spotless. Parking is plentiful. There is a large refrigerator, microwave, and two burners for countertop cooking, iron and ironing board. A/C and heat are easy to control. Snacks are available at the front desk, however, a somewhat limited variety. Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Panera, Chick Fil A and Race Trac are one block away, however, it you are walking, it is a lonely unoccupied block that you have to walk. I felt very safe at the hotel and staff was very nice. Price is right.

I was disappointed to find that the room had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. Trash from prior guests was still in the room, including under and around the side tables by the bed, on the floor, and even on the coffee table. This gave the impression that the room hadn’t been thoroughly inspected or maintained.

The room assigned to us was smelly and the floor near the kitchen was slippery. The front desk Agent was able to assigned us another room with no problem. The bed were not firm and saggy. The mattress needs to be change.

This is a new hotel in a convenient area. Bed was comfy, shower was nice and roomy. The only issue was that the AC was very loud kicking on. Overall would recommend for a value stay.

The only issues are physical. Wish longer stay hotels had a living chair to relax other than lying in bed. Something other than 2 table chairs that our uncomfortable. Second is blinds are attractive but DO NOT block parking lot lights that our great for security terrible to sleep.

I was disappointed that there were no room darkening curtains. I needed to sleep for an early morning flight. The AC was very loud which made sleeping almost impossible. Everything else was fabulous. The people that answer the phone, the employees in the hotel… super!

Room was large, and everything is new and modern. Rooms and public areas were extremely clean. Staff was polite. Only complaints are that the blinds do not block outside light, so at night, extremely bright parking lot lights shown throw and kept the room illuminated. They desperately need to add blackout curtains or better blinds. The pillows were cheap, and extremely thin, almost non-existent. The handicapped accessible shower when used will spill over and leave a large puddle on the rest of the bathroom floor. These are minor issues compared to all the pluses offered by this extended stay (except the blinds).

Nice new hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious with fridge, microwave, two burned stovetop and a coffee pot. Only queen beds are available at this property. The walls are thin so you can hear hallway noise and you can also hear planes depending on the flight path. Overall I would stay here again for the conscience to the airport, stadium or work.

Overall decent property. I think it’s newer but feels cheap. The bed is uncomfortable. But, the AC in the room is SO LOUD! This kept us up all night. I wouldn’t stay here again solely because of this.

The room key cards don’t work. We stayed 28 days and every day we had to reset the room key cards. If other guess were checking in we had to wait to have our cards reset to access our room. The staff was not apologetic and no manager was ever present. Also the AC in the room seems to be malfunctioning. The room was never comfortable. It was super cold and when we turned the AC down the room was very humid/damp. My husband wanted the room cleaned including the bedsheets changed and was told by the front desk we had to remove the sheets off the bed first. It’s a cheap hotel, probably ok for 1 night but not for longer stays.

Never actually got to stay. They canceled my reservation after I called and told them my flight was delayed. After called and speaking to the front desk and being told I would be fine my reservation was canceled at 2:00am leaving me with nowhere to stay for the night. I had booked three nights at this property for my son and I for a soccer tournament in Tampa. Our flight was delayed and we’re not able to arrive till 2:10 AM. Upon arrival, the desk clerk would not allow us to check in. They said the property has a policy of no check-in after 2 AM. Of course I argued the point and I was given the number of a manager to call. Of course at 2 AM he did not answer. We were not allowed to check in and the rest of our reservation was canceled. I was charged for the night and then had to go down the street and pay $300 a night for a comfort Inn to sleep for six hours. This is the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Upon contacting red roof in corporate they are doing nothing to compensate me.

Absolutely disgraceful the way they handle things. I booked my hotel 2 days before my stay, everything was sorted, received my confirmation emailed…they called me at 6:00pm on the day I was supposed to stay there to tell me there were no rooms available so I couldn’t stay there. I had flown from NC to Clearwater for my friends funeral, and to be told this on the day I’m staying? I had to pay a ridiculous amount for booking a hotel the same day to stay over. Disgraceful.

The worker who checked us out was on her phone talking the entire time. She seemed to be having trouble with something on the computer— which is fine— but it took her 15 minutes to get us checked in. Checkout was 11 and we checked out at 10:30. A staff member then called us at 12:30 to ask if we had checked out because they didn’t have our card. We handed both to the woman at the front desk for check out. The building itself was clean, but the staff either needs better training or more organization.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. I’d fire your entire staff, except for Ashley! She was the only one who made a difference. Very sad to see such horrible customer service when I was trying to be a good client for an extended business stay and was treated poorly.

Staff was nice and courteous. Check in and check out was quick. Room was clean and you're 10 minutes from the Airport, Steinbrenner Field, Raymond James Stadium, etc. Nice stores and fast food places by the hotel as well. Will definitrly return here for any future trip in Tampa.

New construction, clean, set up as studio, with kitchen. Big parking lot. Very nice and friendly staff. Conveniently located, close to Tampa airport. We spent one night at this property before flying back home from Fl. I did not have a chance to explore the area, but I could see it is green and was told it is safe.

Excellent stay!! Professional, friendly and knowledgeable employees. The Hotel is very well kept and I feel it was such a great stay due to all of the staff that made it happen every day and night. Hometown Studios is a beautiful and clean New Hotel. Our room was absolutely excellent. Great shower. My family and I stayed in a two queen bed room with a mid size fridge with separate freezer and a stove top. Made making in room meals easy. Allowed us to save money and eat great. I Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was honestly so nice. I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but for the price I definitely was. The room was very clean, from the bed to the bathroom. The shower was big and got nice and hot. Beyond the room being nice, the hotel was very quiet, I didnt hear anyone in the rooms around me. Front desk staff were very nice and when our key stopped working they were quick to fix it for us no questions asked! Close to lots of food options and only a 20 min drive to downtown Tampa. Would definitely stay here again, hands down.
