Great location for trains Very expensive at the bar, cost £27 for a coke, g&t single and bottle of corona, surely this is not correct/fair charges? Only slept at the hotel as we saw a concert at the 02 but no issues with the hotel itself

From reading some of the reviews, expectations were low. However from first interaction with the hotel to the last, I was very happy with my stay here. Car parking was no issue, staff on reception great, they even let us check in early. Breakfast was great and the rooms were just what was needed. Only downside was the service on the bar on a night was extremely slow.

Great location, delicious breakfast. Rooms could use an upgrade but perfectly fine. Location near the DLR station and the presence of a parking garage are perfect to use this hotel as a place to park explore London.

Great location for access to the O2, just a short bus trip. Plus was located a stones throw away from Grenwich train station which was perfect for travelling in to London. The room was a little tired but was clean and big. Breakfast was good with lots of options and the bar area had a great atmosphere to it. Will definitely return when next visiting the O2.

Booked to go to 02 and was really surprised at quality of hotel for price I paid. Pays to shop around at last minute. Underground parking on site and disabled bay (with a BB) is free which was an added bonus. Staff welcoming. Calming modern decor throughout. Superior twin 2nd floor was clean with really comfortable beds and despite being literally on top of station, I slept without hearing a thing. I Ubered to 02 at £10-15 each way but there is a bus stop right outside. Local area felt safe is quiet and clean with a few pubs, cafes, shops and supermarkets close by. Greenwich Park, London Observatory, Queens House & Maritime Museum are all walkable. My only minor gripe would be you have to repeatedly scan code on TV to get hotel info onto your phone. A dedicated channel would be preferred plus I couldn't find a breakfast menu on it or anywhere online. We didn't want to pay extra for breakfast having not seen menu, so my tip would be to get it included in your stay. We didn't eat here at all in the end as on a tight budget, so cannot comment on food. For what we needed and for one night, it was brilliant for price so on that basis would stay again.

The bathroom in room 325 was in appalling condition. It looked like it was last updated decades ago. Sink was blocked, and when unplugged it was leaking on the floor. Floor tiles had cracks and grout was missing. Fittings were rusty and the drains were in very poor condition. Overall, very unappealing and dirty/broken looking. It made me feel uncomfortable taking a shower or brushing my teeth, I opted using the office bathroom instead. When I spoke with Receptionist about it, I was told they will report to Management, but that was of little use. Would not stay here again and would not recommend; Travelodge next door is a much better option.

Cracked tiles, No shower cabin but a shower curtain. Mold on the joints of the tiles and a malfunctioning and broken, leaking drain of the sink. Old sink tap that was difficult to use. Really bad this state of the bathroom for a 4 star hotel.

Checked into hotel. Staff pleasant on reception. Got to hotel room and all looked okay apart from the crumbs on the floor and a foil wrapper left at the side of the bin. Next morning I wanted to bath my daughter and noticed lots of hair in the bathtub. I phoned reception to be told that they would send housekeeping. When the housekeepers arrived the youngest of the two swept her hand across the bath & said ‘no hair’ to which I replied ‘yes there is’, she then asked ‘Where?’ So I pointed out that it was in several different areas of the bathtub. She sighed loudly so I then said if it’s a problem I was quite happy to clean it myself if she got me a cloth & spray. She then proceeded to get the cleaning equipment and do it herself. I don’t appreciate being made to feel like I had inconvenienced her just by asking for a clean bathtub which should have been done before we checked in & I certainly didn’t like being made out to be a liar when I say there’s hair in the bath. As an individual that has a holiday let cleaning business myself that hotel room was not up to a standard that would be acceptable to me. I would not stay here again and for the price of the room the hotel needs to ensure better cleanliness.

Lobby was gorgeous, as well as the esthetic of the restaurant. Room was quite worn and in need of an update but good enough for a few nights stay especially since the location is so good. Bathroom wasn't cleaned very well and had to give sink area a good wipe down after check in to clean up some soap scum and hairs leftover from previous stay.

The room was dirty with hair all over the bathroom floor. And there was a lot of cracks and nasty stained on the carpet. The bed sheet didn’t fully cover the mattress and the mattress had blood like stained on it it was very nasty but I had no other option. The staff were lovely at check in and check out that was the only pro. I also booked a standard room but was given a accessibility room

“Executive Room” was disappointing. The only electric outlets were across the room from the bed and in a corner. Very unsatisfactory for someone needing a CPAP machine or simply wanting to charge your phone near your pillow at night.

Terrible room. Paid for a queen room for the bed to be two single beds pushed together. Light coming in from curtains and plug is sink broke so couldn’t get out. For 198 a night would hope for a proper bed at least

Room 147 has no suitable cooling system which was addressed with Management after a terrible night of being overheated. The room has no external window, only one that opens over the reception/bar area so you are kept awake late due to bar noise. Room heating was attended to by maintenance but remained far too hot through the night with no ventilation. A fan was provided after asking but did little to help.

Had to move room 3 times, staff were lovely but I cannot recommend this hotel. The beds were so uncomfortable and no air conditioning so felt like a sauna.

It was a good stay, however I did ask staff about the later arrival of my partner as he was driving to the venue and had been stuck in traffic. They reassured me this would be fine if he gave my name on arrival, but instead at 11:30pm I had to come down and get out of bed and dressed to collect him from reception as they wouldn’t let him come up to the room. Its a shame as its a nice hotel but this and the slow service being taken to breakfast may put me off returning to the venue.

Room was cold, bedding was a thin duvet also tv was basic. There was a lot of noise throughout the night which came through the windows. The staff on reception in the morning didn’t seem to care when I mentioned either. Breakfast was undercooked sausages and stale pastries.

I stayed at this hotel in 2017 and enjoyed my stay. This visit was quite different. On arrival front of house staff customer service skills left a lot to be desired. Our room was ok but needs to be updated and housekeeping was mediocre, happening at odd times of the day. The worst experience was a male bar tender who appeared to be disinterested, and was surly and rude in his behaviour when I asked for a room service menu (and that was not the only time). My overall view is that this hotel is not up to the Novotel standard. A number of other properties (Holiday Inn Express) were better value, included breakfast and had staff that were friendly and welcoming.

Note - Hotel is next to Greenwich overground station. Greenwich north tube station and the O2 are a 50 minute walk. We stayed after a concert at the O2. All was great, lovely hotel. Only issue was the barman. We stopped at the hotel bar after the concert but the barman had a very strange attitude to serving anyone drinks. The lounge area and bar was not busy but at least 9 people came and went without being served a drink, unable to get any sense from the barman. After waiting a very long time and listening to the barman trying to explain, we went up to our room with just some snacks and a bottle of water. Other than the strange barman, all was excellent.

Good location for traveling in London, but rooms are a bit dated- ours had some duct tape over wall sockets. The front office check in staff leaves much to be desired, after we checked in we were hounded to pay for our room early no less than 3 times. Mind you this was after our 10 hour flight and jet lag setting in. Good restaurant, but it’s very understaffed. Honestly the only reason to stay here is it is a great location for getting picked up for bus tours and hopping on the train.

Very conveniently located to dining and harbor. Even though the DLR is right beside it, we didn't hear any noise from it. Would definitely recommend. Booked this hotel pre-cruise.

Used this property because it was the pick up spot for our Expat Explore tour. Food a little expensive but happy there is a pub right across the lot as well as a couple others within walking distance as well as a couple grocery stores I. Less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The train station is right next door. So convenient for getting to London proper.

It is a pleasant, quiet, and clean hotel. Greenwich train and bus stations are practically outside the door, and the Cutty Sark is within walking distance. Just note that if you're coming from Heathrow, it will take 90 minutes by train either way and even longer via Uber.

Wouldn’t recommend. Booked Novotel London Greenwich via Hotels.com The breakfast that is mentioned in the booking will not be honoured at the hotel, where they will try and charge you an additional £21 each.

We enjoyed all of the meals we ate here which included breakfast daily, one dinner, and afternoon tea. Bed was comfortable. Beds were remade several times but sheets were not changed on the days we asked for rooms to be serviced.
