Great attentive service. Always someone around if you needed them. Really nice lobby and eating area. Clean room and a nice relaxed 12pm check out time. Parking is also available right across the street from the hotel. Will stay again.

This is my first time in London and I was given a room near the elevator shaft. I went out last night and came back late hoping I could sleep and didn’t happen because the lift went up and down all night. I DIDNT SLEEP AT ALL. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I should get my money back. I paid $239 which was high and I didn’t even rest well.

Spent over a week at the Park Avenue Bayswater. PROS-the location was excellent- close to the Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, shops and restaurants. The front desk staff was very friendly and the lobby area was excellent to await your check-in. The breakfast buffet is also a good deal at 11.99 (pounds) per person as the surrounding restaurants charge more. CONS- The showers are cube shaped and extremely small to shower in and not very clean (asked twice for it to be cleaned and never happened). The air conditioning worked but had to be serviced twice. It appears that it was pre-programmed for 22 degrees celsius and set on a timer so if one set it to a cooler temperature it would only last about 30 mins until resuming its 22 degrees. This was only rectified for the last 2 nights of our stay. The tv only offers cable programming, smart tv's would be better and there are no plugs at the headboard for one to charge their electronics. Despite some issues, I would consider staying at this hotel again.

Overall this was a great trip, we were only staying for one night. The room was presented lovely - there were some missed cleaning spots, the drawers next to the beds had crumbs and wrappers in but not enough of a bother to report. The staff were all lovely. The only downfall for the room was we were located right next door to the lift meaning we could hear it through the night everytime the doors opened and closed.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location. Rooms well appointed and very clean. Great breakfast!!! My only criticism is my lower ground floor room didn’t have curtains as it had glass that was patterned so people couldn’t see in, but I would have liked to black out the light. Didn’t ask for a room change as it wasn’t a big deal for me!

great location and staff were nice enough but the bed was the most uncomfortable in all the stays we have had and we’ve travelled loads recently and stayed in more than 15 hotels over the last year, the bed was so small and slippery couldn’t sleep comfortably at all and they placed us downstairs next to the toilets!! all night you could hear the hand dryers and the elevators, the walls were paper thin, literally plasterboard, my husband knocked on them they were hollow. The staff also hoovered outside our door at 7:30am which couldn’t have been more annoying. There was good parking though and the staff were nice and the location is amazing walking distance to portabello and cute markets and the price was very very good we paid £34 for a night on bank holiday weekend which is cheaper than a travel lodge. the area was booky at night though there was a guy hanging off the railing opposite and he was there for so long just staring and the hotel doors are locked at night so just be careful

The four star hotel rating on this hotel is a joke, I have stayed in 2 star hotels cleaner... the bed was on little stilts and moving around constantly, the floor was uneven under the carpet, bedding was stained and had tears, room generally very worn down and small, we also had what appeared to be vomit on the outside of the window... very noisy air conditioning unit outside the room, very thin walls, little dehumidifier tubs with the beads under the beds, sink too close to the toilet... plus staying on the -1 floor meant going through a dim narrow hallway which stunk of disinfectant... would not recommend which is a shame as the location is fab and the lobby area is beautiful but sadly very misleading.

So dirty and stinky, the carpet is old, with a lot of debris in it. I found 2 spiders in my room. And in another occasion we came back to the room and found a used syringe on the floor. This was after the room was supposedly “cleaned.” When we asked on the first day to switch rooms, we were told it would have to wait until the next day and we’d have to leave our things in storage, so we were stuck in the basement floor which had a smell every time we walked through it. The shower was also very uncomfortable. All three of us managed to hit our heads. Overall do not recommend and advise looking anywhere else.

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend, gorgeous looking building and the staff are friendly. Had a buffet breakfast and that was also great for the price, which was £11.99 pp. The rooms are incredibly small and very hot, the air conditioning while it's on is lovely but it only stays on for 30 mins so we had to keep getting up to turn it back on. The bed was comfy and the shower was decent, however the room was very dusty, they have coffee machines in the room and all the coffee pods in the tray had dust on them, the skirting boards were also very dusty and it didn't look like the room had been vacuumed in a while. Great surroundings area, lots of shops bars and the tube station was just round the corner

With some improvements, like window up grades modern curtains so its not so dated. Hotel stay could be great. Bathroom is modern & decent.

Missing shampoo and body wash. The bathroom was untidy. Had to get someone was to unblock the basin. There was only one electric plug point and the sitting table was too congested. For what we paid and what we needed it for, it was absolutely fine! Room was dark and the window looked out into a space between another building and was covered in pigeon poo so not a view exactly. The shower and toilet were great. The kettle had seen better days. Beds were squeaky but comfy.

I was originally put in a room with no window, just glass with a wall behind, which was really odd, but when I went to reception they fixed it with no fuss. The staff were lovely tbf, the hotel was well located, I was working so needed to be up early and was glad of the quiet location. TV was good, bed was comfy, shower worked fine, no complaints once we fixed the room issue!

The hotel is in a great location near Notting Hill, trains, buses and good restaurants. However our double room was very crammed and tight to move around. The hotel team were understanding and offered a breakfast as compensation but the lack of space was uncomfortable.

Great location, value for money but the rooms are small and the bathroom is even smaller. If you are overweight or larger than average you probably won't fit in the shower. The shower water pressure was dismal.

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff were very pleasant, the cleanliness was fine, but I suppose it's a problem that the UK has with regard to accommodation space, the room was really small and the advert made it look much more comfortable than it was, as was the bathroom. But for one night it wasn't bad. All I can say about the breakfast is that what I saw at the buffet looked good, but in my case I chose not to have breakfast.

From the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful. The hotel was very clean and our room was perfect. Reception phoned us 5 mins after we got into our room to check that everything was okay which was very thoughtful. They allowed us to leave our bags free of charge after checkout so we could tour the city without them and collect them at the end of the day. I would definitely stay here again

The staff are all polite and they all know me very well they treat me and other customers a very warm welcome I would only use this hotel in London I have respect for all the reception staff and the house maids that as to change and clean our rooms I give this hotel 10/10

The staff was amazing. They were super helpful and knowledgeable about everything a traveler needed to know. There was not a single question that went unanswered. And believe me I had a lot of questions!!

Spent over a week at the Park Avenue Bayswater. PROS-the location was excellent- close to the Bayswater and Queensway tube stations, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, shops and restaurants. The front desk staff was very friendly and the lobby area was excellent to await your check-in. The breakfast buffet is also a good deal at 11.99 (pounds) per person as the surrounding restaurants charge more. CONS- The showers are cube shaped and extremely small to shower in and not very clean (asked twice for it to be cleaned and never happened). The air conditioning worked but had to be serviced twice. It appears that it was pre-programmed for 22 degrees celsius and set on a timer so if one set it to a cooler temperature it would only last about 30 mins until resuming its 22 degrees. This was only rectified for the last 2 nights of our stay. The tv only offers cable programming, smart tv's would be better and there are no plugs at the headboard for one to charge their electronics. Despite some issues, I would consider staying at this hotel again.

The hotel is in a great location near Notting Hill, trains, buses and good restaurants. However our double room was very crammed and tight to move around. The hotel team were understanding and offered a breakfast as compensation but the lack of space was uncomfortable.

The hotel is well located with good transport links around, lots of good places to eat near the hotel and very close to Hyde Park. The reception is nice and the rooms are fine. I would recommend for the price benefit as well.

What a location, close to Hyde Park and near 3 great tube stations, Bayswater, Queensway and Notting Hill Gate Wonderfully ran hotel and the room altough being small (albeit, single traveller simply in need of a head rest) was perfectly neat and tidy. Once again, lovely quiet location. Loved it.

We booked this hotel on hotels.com. It was a good price for London for 2 nights. We were a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews on here but, we were not disappointed! We had a lovely stay, friendly staff, the room was clean, comfortable bed & the location was central. The only downside was the room did not have a fridge but we would definitely stay again!

I appreciated the friendliness of everyone we dealt with. Were able to store our luggage before and after check in and come back later. Beautiful location. Easy access to the tibe and Hyde Park. The room was comfortablr and very clean. The air con was great after sight seeing all day. Will use agaon when retirning to London would highly reccomend.

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend, gorgeous looking building and the staff are friendly. Had a buffet breakfast and that was also great for the price, which was £11.99 pp. The rooms are incredibly small and very hot, the air conditioning while it's on is lovely but it only stays on for 30 mins so we had to keep getting up to turn it back on. The bed was comfy and the shower was decent, however the room was very dusty, they have coffee machines in the room and all the coffee pods in the tray had dust on them, the skirting boards were also very dusty and it didn't look like the room had been vacuumed in a while. Great surroundings area, lots of shops bars and the tube station was just round the corner

Nice spacious, quiet family room. Really good to have en-suite bathroom facilities. We paid for the breakfast, which was OK, but could have done with a few more options, especially healthier cereals. Overall, a great stay and the hotel is in a really nice area.

We had a very comfortable stay. We knew in advance that the room would be cosy as is often the case in this part of London. (I grew up not so far away). The lovely view of the gardens was a bonus. The large lobby was a nice surprise. Breakfast was advertised at one price in the lift and another online so we went elsewhere in the end but would definitely return. Good value!

Reception was really friendly.. But room in the basment.. no direct light.. Hairdryer wasn't working.. and at first the tv wasnt either.. but i fixed it myself.. Then breakfast. Toaster broken.. so we asked if the chef could make us some toast.. We got warm floppy bread...

We stayed for 2 nights. Roughly 30min from London main city. We conveniently had to take a circle line directly to tower hill. Small cozy rooms. Breakfast had very limited options but was good nonetheless.

It had a lot of 10/10 ratings which brought up the average rating to 8 , but the lower ratings had detail descriptions of the hotel. The breakfast bar was nice, but there is no “restaurant”. If you’re a college student traveling with a backpack, it’s fine. If you’re older looking for something more comfortable, look elsewhere.

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff were very pleasant, the cleanliness was fine, but I suppose it's a problem that the UK has with regard to accommodation space, the room was really small and the advert made it look much more comfortable than it was, as was the bathroom. But for one night it wasn't bad. All I can say about the breakfast is that what I saw at the buffet looked good, but in my case I chose not to have breakfast.

Hotel is tidy enough, water pressure from the shower is decent. Not a big room but enough for us two without big luggage. Air conditioning of the room is great, absolutely saved us from the heat wave.

A struggle to Iron clothes in the morning, waiting 2 hours for an iron. Caused some unnecessary stress as travelling for work. Other than that room was good and Air con was well needed. Breakfast was disappointing.

Twin bed room for my daughter and I. Room was clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable. Great air conditioning especially for the heat wave during our stay. Location was good, 2 tube stations only a few minutes walk from the hotel for travel into London city centre. Also shops and restaurants and pubs nearby are open till quite late.
