The hotel it’s self is more like shepherds Bush than Kensington. The underground parking is a massive plus and there is plenty of it. All the staff were excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel its self is dated. The rooms are tiny and are due a good refurbishment. The shower was the worst shower I’ve ever had in a hotel. That said the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Overall, a decent hotel to stay. It\'s conveniently located by Central line underground, about 5 minutes walk to the nearest station. It\'s close to Westfield shopping mall, less than 10 minutes walk. The room is clean, staff is friendly. The hotel building itself is a bit dated. The "fitness center" is just a few elliptical running machines without any weight training equipment. Stay here if you want to avoid the busy crowd, and for the cleanliness. Would I stay here again, probably not 😶.

Only criticism is Hotel needs some money spent on it. The bedrooms are dated and need improving. The bathroom is tiny in the standard double room and as hubby is quite a large chap he could barely get in the shower cubicle as only small opening. Staff were happy to change us to a different room with a larger bathroom. Concierge even moved our bags. Restaurant is lovely and food, drinks and service is fantastic. We found All the staff to be really professional and helpful. Plenty of choice for breakfast (standard fry up, pastries, bread fruit, cereals etc plus selection of fruit and also unexpected extras such as chicken sausages, potato scones, falafel, vegetable samosas etc so a little bit more than your normal Hilton breakfast x Hotel is very clean and is in a great location as situated between Westfield and Holland Park. Went to portabello market, Kensington palace, Hyde park, Notting Hill. All within 1/2 hour walk. Tube stations close by and bus stop outside (royal crescent). Nice, quiet residential area with plenty of bars and restaurants and shops down the road. Within walking distance of Hammersmith and Earl’s Court too. given a box of chocolates each for Easter which was nice touch. Bags left with concierge after checkout It’s such a shame the executive lounge has gone since our last stay. However would have no hesitation staying here again however does need to be brought up to normal hilton standards and by that I mean the decor and rooms, not the staff

Front of hotel can be noisy from the road. Not surev why a service chargs is applied at the bar, when buying the drinks from the bar yourself ? Room otherwise very comfortable. Breakfast amazing.

The worst experience ever. My room had a bad AC and I managed to sleep the first night because I was exhausted from a long trip. Complained the next morning and they promised to work on it, which they did, because my suitcase was covered in dust and soot (obviously from the repairs and no attempt to clean after). AC became worse at night and at 1 am, I called the Guests Service. They offerred a fan, with the promise that I would be upgraded the next morning. Barely slept that night and by morning, I had taken ill. Took several calls, before I was moved to a smaller room at about 12 noon, which I immediately rejected. Finally moved to a similar room at past 2pm, after several calls and a demand to speak with the GM. AC in the new room was okay, but I was already ill from the previous day and kept sneezing in the new room. Searching for a paper next morning, I peaked under the bed and saw a mountain of dust and dirt!! Obviously the reason for the sneezing. Quickly opened the window, took a shower and left the room with a note to the room attendant to clean under the bed (I have a picture of both note and the dusty area). Slept better for the first time after 4 days in the hotel. On checking out, called Concierge, Guest and room service consistently with no response and gave up after several calls. Moved 2 large and a hand luggage myself from the 5th floor, up to the waiting car, and not a single staff was concerned and all seemed unbothered. A total nightmare.

For the brand name and the location this hotel was more like a motel than 3/4 star hotel . No proper ventilation , light fixtures were broken , wall paper peeling and no restocking of bathroom amenities. Carpet was even dirty and stained and bleached in spots .

The towels had long black hairs on them. The bed was like wood to lie on, every time you moved it made loud noises and the sheets were hard and old. The shower was dirty. Tiles falling of by the shower panel Dirty carpet

We have stayed at this hotel many times and been very happy and comfortable. This time the hotel room was very unclean . The bathroom counters were dirty the walls stained , carpet was dirty and I literally bleach wiped every surface before I felt comfortable putting anything on the counters. The air conditioner did not work and had to get a technician to fix it , it still did not work properly Housekeeping didn’t furnish enough towels. Our stay could have been much more pleasant This used to be our fave hotel in London but after this we will be looking for another hotel

Stayed here for five nights over Christmas. Grateful to the staff for serving meals on Christmas! The hotel probably needs some updating in the hallways - paint and carpeting - but it’s more tired than in disrepair. Housekeeping was great and breakfast was bountiful. Easy walk to Holland Park and the Shepherd’s Bush Tube. Also walkable to Earl’s Court. Would definitely stay again!

Staff and breakfast were great. The rooms were a little outdated but still good. Unfortunately, the room had very thin walls and windows meaning you can hear everything in the rooms next to you. For this, I would not recommend this hotel as we were unable to fall asleep until 1am.

We’re generally a fan of Hilton hotels however this one needs a little tlc, location wise it’s excellent right next to Shephard’s bush tube, Westfield shopping and a short walk from Kensington gardens, however the rooms need modernising as there are no usb points, our plug sockets by the desk were actually pushed into the wall, the shower was grubby with age and if you’re a tall person of around 6,2 in the particular room we were in you are showering with your head constantly at an angle, this does however seem to be reflected in the price.

I hated that they were no usb or ac power ports at the bedhead Everything usable was on the opposite side on the desk with the tv and above the fridge area. I use my electronics, read my email on my laptop and watch content while lying on my bed. I brought an extension plug strip but the socket for the standing lamp which was on the bedhead side had the round holes and not the standard rectangle holes like they had on all of the sockets that were on the other side. I switched the way I slept on the bed. My head was at the bottom of the bed and my feet were at the top. It is only the location of this hotel that did it for me. The usb and power ports iss would have been a deal breaker for me. The rooms need a modern refresh / renovation and the shower / bathtub could have been a bit bigger. It is a Hilton. The bathtub is ridiculously high. Besides this my stay was satisfactory.

Overall this ia a good choice: The staff is very friendly while the hotel has a good location. The next metro station is less than a 10 min walk away, while the bus station is directly in front of the hotel. Westfield mall is only 10 min by walking. There are no shops directly around the hotel. While the room was spacious, the furniture is dated, the bed was rather narrow for a couple and was uncomfortable. The bath was tiny, only bathtub and no shower and again much dated.The braekfast buffet had a good choice of high quality food, make sure to book via reception instead of directly walking in as then more expensive. So overall a good choice but the furniture and appearance is for a Hilton hotel looking dated and not really cozy. This hotel needs a renovation, but otherwise is a really good option!

Checked into a room with unbelievably loud maintenance drilling in adjacent room from 9am. The hotel didn't inform ahead and rented out a room knowing well that from 9am,no guest can sleep in it.

Booked as part of a friend's 50th birthday celebrations. Location is very convenient for Westfield white city or the itv/bbc studios nearby. There was a conversation about decorating the room with some balloons etc for my friend. This was also printed in the leaflet the hotel emailed to me, a few days before we checked in. However when arriving at the hotel, they said this had not been done and they did not have any decorations. Do not offer things, if they cannot be provided as it just gives false information and hope. The following day, we discovered there was no shower gel in the bathroom and nobody at guest service or housekeeping answered the calls we made. Finally got through to the front desk and they said it would be sent up straight away. An hour later, it still had not arrived. Surely from a brand like Hilton, you cannot be faulted for at least expecting toiletries?! I will end on a high, the buffet breakfast was great! Good selection and food was all warm or cool where appropriate. I would stay again in the hope any errors on this stay would not be repeated. Poor reply from the hotel though.

The room air conditioner was broken and room was extremely hot. i have cancer and get hot flashes frequently and air conditioned rooms help me tremendously. Because the room was not air conditioned i was extremely uncomfortable. I notified the front desk and the sent two different technicians to try to repair. After the second maintenance person notified the hotel that it was unrepairable, I contacted the front desk and requested a fan and pillows. They informed that a fan and additional pillows was on its. Nothing came. i called the front desk 3 additional items and still nothing; So disappointed and upset

This was my second stay with Hilton Kensington and it was just as lovely this time. The staff really goes above and beyond for the guest. Kudos to them. The location is within easy walking distance for shopping and restaurants. On the flip side, the hotel could use a makeover.

The lady at the front dest at night was bad without any passion about her job. However, the service at the day shift was alright. In terms of the quality of the room, it is old. The cleanliness was bad. They didn't take out the trash in the bin in the toilet. When we asked the staff the do it we found out there was no housekeeping at night. The eco-friendliness was excellent as they didn't refill the facial tissues even there is two of them left. Also, they didn't change the toilet roll after being used by the last person.

Arrived just before lunch, check in time 3pm, checked in straight away. The receptionist asked why were were visiting, my daughter said, it's Mum's birthday. 20 mins later there was a knock on the door and the receptionist and another staff member stood outside with a bottle of wine, 2 glasses and a card and sang Happy Birthday! What a lovely surprise! Lovely hotel, we only stayed 1 night, price was very reasonable considering some places we have stayed in London which were terrible were the same price! Plenty of space in the room, well lit, clean and quiet. Convenient for the tube. Would definitely stay here again.

We had asked two things from the concierge on our 2 nd day 1. For water glasses in the bathroom 2. To have someone explain the heating system as at times the room was a bit cold Neither of these small requests were dealt with. Other than these minor complaints ,we enjoyed the location and walk ability of the hotel.

Well situated on Holland Park road for Visiting Holland Park, Westfield shopping centre & the Shepherds Bush area. Double room was excellent and the room is cleaned well. Breakfast is worth the money and the reception staff are very welcoming. I enjoyed my stay.

While the decor is a little dated, the hotel is well maintained, clean and well kept. Love the breakfast buffet. Access to public transport is good and it is within walking distance to a large mall. Loved my stay.

Really nice hotel in a good area near the Westfield Centre. Lovely friendly staff, a good breakfast but crazy busy which put me off on one of the days. Only other issue was really low water pressure in the shower...but otherwise an excellent hotel and stay

The service at the hotel was fantastic - the kind people made the choice of this hotel acceptable. Great front desk staff; welcoming breakfast room crew. Proximity to Shepherd's Bush tube station good. The bed was t e r r i b l e! One could feel and hear the springs when moving even the tiniest muscle. The small rooms were quite beaten up - lots of water damage on the door trim of the bathroom. Carpets are old. The decor of the entire place was super tired. One positive was having a window that opened - great to have fresh air. We faced the back of the property. There was no noise from outside but some noise from slamming doors in the hallway and late night, fun loving guests (but it wasn't too bad). Breakfast was fine - lots of choices and something for everyone! I really liked having the salad greens. Many types of yogurt. Breads galore. Typical English breakfast items plus some world selections. Coffee was meh but drinkable.

The building is old. The food is dreadful. They concentrate more on conferences than guests. Staff are polite and try to work around the hotel inadequacies. Would not recommend
